Global Survival: I Got the D-Rank Personnel Simulator

Lin Ye tried to use the collapse rune to deal with the charred corpses on the trucks, but the trucks were moving too fast. It was difficult for him to use the collapse rune to eliminate all the charred corpses on the trucks in a short time.

And as long as a few trucks got close to the base and triggered explosions, it could potentially cause damage to the clubhouse base.

If that happened, and a large amount of crimson liquid invaded the base, they would be stuck in the awkward predicament of constantly repairing the base.

If a few more anomalous phenomena showed up, most of the young people inside the base would die here.

”Entering Phase Two of the Shelter Plan. Activating the parasite.”

Lin Ye had originally wanted to delay a bit longer. After all, activating it now was too conspicuous and easily made them a target. But these suicide trucks were clearly targeting them anyway, so it didn’t matter anymore.

”Activated. Do you wish to control it personally, or shall I handle it?”

Bessie Pro’s pale blue hair extended into the interior of the clubhouse base, beginning to take control of the entire base.

”You handle it. I need to make some modifications to the base.”

Lin Ye took out the previous loot from his item space and began modifying the base. The entire clubhouse base began to shake violently. Unlike the brief tremor last time, this shaking showed no sign of stopping.

The suicide trucks closed in to within thirty meters of the clubhouse. Flames ignited the charred corpses, and unstoppable energy explosions slammed into the clubhouse base from all directions!

Several thick limbs pulled out from underground, and the entire base was uprooted from the ground. The clubhouse now stood upon the earth!

The limbs bent and then straightened, ejecting large amounts of compressed spiritual energy downward. Plants and flesh and blood moved through the clubhouse interior like blood vessels. The clubhouse base instantly leaped dozens of meters into the air!

The suicide trucks on the ground produced violent explosions, but the explosions were confined to within thirty meters. Not even the shockwaves could reach the clubhouse base suspended in mid-air.

However, those several thick limbs suffered varying degrees of damage under the illumination of the crimson light.

”Limbs damaged. Shelter will descend shortly. Please, all Shelter members, prepare for impact.”

Bessie Pro’s voice echoed within the clubhouse. Even now, some of the slower-reacting young people still didn’t understand what was happening. Fortunately, they were all spiritual energy users and wouldn’t die easily from a fall.

Lin Ye integrated some parasitized metal into the base’s interior and used this metal to form new limbs.

With these limbs, the clubhouse base landed smoothly on the ground. After Lin Ye controlled the metal tentacles to retrieve the charred corpse remnants, he began controlling the clubhouse base to run down the street.

There were still some young people trapped outside. He planned to go retrieve those young people first.

The spiritual energy users hiding in the buildings lining the street stared dumbfounded as a clubhouse passed by in the middle of the road. They didn’t call for help; instead, they thought they were hallucinating.

The streets were filled with crimson liquid everywhere, but under Bessie Pro’s control, that crimson liquid couldn’t touch the limbs of the clubhouse base at all.

The process of retrieving the young people went very smoothly. Before long, they had retrieved all the young people, and along the way, they also rescued some card customers and merchants.

These people were locked by Lin Ye in a large room. They could leave at any time, but they couldn’t wander around the clubhouse.

After picking up people, Lin Ye began controlling the clubhouse base to rescue those superiors who helped him sell cards, and also brought along some customers. That giant crystal above was not something that could be solved from a distance, and Lin Ye had no desire to get close to that crystal either.

As a large number of buildings were destroyed, the crimson liquid on the streets gradually increased, and the difficulty for the clubhouse base to avoid the crimson liquid also gradually rose.

Lin Ye wanted to save more citizens to delay the accumulation speed of the crimson liquid, but the space within the clubhouse base was limited. He could only save a small portion of the citizens.

Just then, Lin Ye received a communication invitation from Raymond.

”When are you guys taking action? Can I send some citizens to your base?”

Lin Ye asked first.

”The action squad to destroy the crystal has already set off, but they might not succeed.

Ordinary transportation vehicles are destroyed as soon as they touch that crimson liquid. You are one of the few forces that can move freely within the city. The association hopes you can help evacuate citizens. Of course, this isn’t unpaid.”

Raymond hadn’t expected his abandoned clubhouse to be modified by Lin Ye to this extent.

”No problem. Where should they be sent?”

Lin Ye also wanted to slow down the accumulation speed of the crimson liquid.

”I’ve sent you the map. It shows the bases that can receive citizens.”

After saying this, Raymond disconnected the communication. What they needed to deal with wasn’t just the crystal in the sky, but also that pit that kept dropping anomalous phenomena into Free City.

After obtaining the map, Lin Ye began transporting citizens centered around those major faction bases. The clubhouse base was extremely agile and could bypass the crimson liquid. Even if it accidentally touched the crimson liquid, it could quickly repair the hybrid limbs.

The action squad dealing with the crystal was a team of high-level spiritual energy users wearing fully enclosed armor. Free City already had the capability to mass-produce high-level spiritual energy users, though the strength of this type of high-level spiritual energy user wasn’t particularly impressive.

While transporting citizens, Lin Ye was also keeping an eye on the sky above. Those canned men fell from the sky before they even got close to the crystal. Crimson liquid seeped out from inside their armor.

Action squad, wiped out.

Lin Ye began considering the possibility of using the clubhouse base to deal with the crystal above. He could try controlling the base to jump to a certain height and slash the crystal once, but the crystal was too high up. He might not even be able to reach it.

Just as Lin Ye was pondering a solution, some humanoid creatures formed from crimson liquid approached the clubhouse base.

These humanoid creatures moved faster than the crimson liquid and were more agile in their movements.

Lin Ye controlled a compressed spiritual energy blade to stab through the approaching crimson humanoid creatures, but these crimson humanoid creatures recovered extremely quickly. Even the Flesh and Blood Rule Fragment couldn’t control them.

Some tentacles wrapped with flower seeds appeared on the surface of the base. Sharp tentacles shot toward the crimson humanoid creatures. Those crimson humanoid creatures didn’t dodge, allowing the tentacles to deliver the flower seeds into their bodies.

The seeds grew inside the crimson humanoid creatures. Soon, bright, vivid flowers bloomed on the surfaces of the crimson humanoid creatures. These flowers bathed in the crimson rays did not turn into crimson liquid.

Lin Ye retrieved the flowers from the shriveled corpses of the crimson humanoid creatures. These flowers contained the power of that giant crystal.

More crimson humanoid creatures soon appeared in the surroundings, but they quickly turned into flowers and were retrieved by Lin Ye.

Lin Ye stopped controlling the clubhouse base to evacuate citizens and instead began searching everywhere for crimson humanoid creatures. This was much easier than evacuating citizens.

As a large number of crimson humanoid creatures were eliminated, the crimson liquid on the streets gradually decreased, and the speed at which buildings were destroyed also slowed down.
