Striker of The Gods

Time: April 12th 2034

Location: Palacio Real, Madrid

While Caos trained and the royal pregnancy remained in the public eye, Princess Sofía had been quietly building her own counter-strategy.

Caos ( Feeling furious and hitting the wall): I should have done something. She cannot control me. Whatever they mean, it cannot tell me who I am. That’s the quiet cost of wisdom. It doesn’t make you weak. It simply removes your appetite for many of the games that produce worldly success. You may end up possessing less than those who remained consumed by ambition. But you’ll also spend far less of your life at war with yourself. And if life has a purpose beyond accumulation, then perhaps that isn’t failure at all. Perhaps that’s the closest thing to victory there is. Also the wiser u become, the less u’re attracted to anything. Nietzsche talked about this. Aristotle hinted at it too: once u truly understand something, u can no longer do it with the same unconscious conviction. Understanding dissolves illusion, and illusion is what drives most action. the wiser u become, the lesser ur chances of success in anything. Not because wisdom makes success impossible, but because it changes your relationship with timing. You still get many of the things you once wanted, just rarely when your ambition demanded them. The world rewards urgency. Wisdom slowly dismantles it. I don’t think this is mystical. It’s psychological. People often mistake wisdom for having better arguments or sharper logic. That isn’t wisdom. At best, that’s Aristotelian reasoning. Real wisdom looks closer to the Buddhist tradition.

It isn’t confined to yes or no, right or wrong. It’s the ability to find nothing in everything, and everything in nothing. To hold multiple perceptions at once without rushing to collapse them into certainty. The more your perception expands, the more difficult it becomes to stand entirely on one side of anything. You begin placing yourself in every person, every conflict, every place, every motive. Gradually, you stop seeing enemies and strangers. You start seeing fragments of yourself. Call it a glimpse of enlightenment if you like. Call it seeing God/self in everything. The label doesn’t matter.

The experience does. Once that happens, harming another begins to feel indistinguishable from harming yourself. Fighting another feels like fighting yourself. The ego, which once demanded victory at any cost, slowly falls asleep. And that is where the material world becomes difficult. every achivement in the world is a result of human relationships. And every worldly exchange is ultimately driven by motivation. Strip away the excuses and almost every enduring motivation reduces itself to love or revenge. Both require an ego. Something must feel deprived, insulted, admired, desired, or incomplete.

Without an ego, neither love nor revenge can grip you in the same way. Nothing wounds you deeply enough. Nothing seduces you strongly enough. The monsters of the world are still playing by the rules of monsters. They fight with hunger, fear, vanity, status, and domination. If your ego has already dissolved, you cannot meet them on their own terms for very long. You may understand them better than they understand themselves, but understanding isn’t always the same thing as winning.

SOFIA AND HIS PLAN.

1. Political Alliances

Sofía had been cultivating relationships with key members of the Spanish Parliament and conservative factions. She positioned herself as the more “traditional” and “stable” option compared to Leonor, whose relationship with Caos was seen by some as destabilizing.

2. Media Influence

Through discreet channels, Sofía fed selective information to sympathetic journalists — highlighting the “constitutional risks” of Leonor’s child inheriting the throne with Caos’s extraordinary genetics. She also amplified concerns about the child’s potential “unpredictable abilities.”

3. Vatican & International Pressure

Sofía had quiet meetings with influential Vatican figures, expressing “concern” about the moral and religious implications of a superhuman heir. She also reached out to European royal houses for subtle support.

4. Personal Maneuvering

She had been strengthening her own public image — attending more charity events, giving thoughtful interviews, and subtly distancing herself from Leonor’s “controversial” choices while maintaining a facade of sisterly support.

Internal Note from Sofía’s Private Advisor (intercepted):

“Leonor’s pregnancy is our greatest opportunity. We must frame the child as a risk to the monarchy’s stability. If we can push for a constitutional review, Sofía becomes the safer successor. Caos is the wildcard — we must neutralize his influence.”

In the mansion, Caos reviewed the latest intelligence report from the maids.

Zeraphina:

Sofía is moving fast. She’s building alliances in Parliament and whispering to the Vatican. She’s framing Leonor’s child as a threat to tradition.

Caos (eyes narrowing):

She wants the throne. She always has.

She sees my children as obstacles.

I will not let her touch them.

Keyla:

We’re watching her every move. She’s clever, but she’s underestimating you.

Michaela:

The royal game is getting dangerous.

Caos (voice low, resolute):

Let her scheme.

The storm doesn’t play by their rules.

If she forces a fight for the crown, she will learn what real power looks like.

The royal intrigue was deepening.

Sofía’s counter-strategy was in motion.

To be continued…
