Ling Tian Sword God

Currently, Ling Chen, unless encountering a Saint-level Exotic Beast on the verge of advancing to Fifth Grade, generally has little threat from Fourth Grade Exotic Beasts.

This is also why Ling Chen dares to use this Thunder Eye Colossal Whale as his sparring partner.

Roar!

The Thunder Eye Colossal Whale let out an angry roar in the seawater, its deep voice transmitting through the sea, causing a disturbance on the surface.

The Thunder Eye Colossal Whale had no low spiritual wisdom, and it could detect a hint of disdain from Ling Chen’s attitude, which was the most infuriating thing for it.

A mere human actually looked down on it!

In its fury, the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale’s eyes surged with crazy thunder light, the current rapidly converging and finally transforming into two astonishing beams that shot out with a ”swish”!

The beams, thick as water buckets, shot fiercely toward Ling Chen. In this moment, Ling Chen swiftly turned his sword edge, continuing to use Thunder Cut, slicing down from mid-air, cutting the thunder beam into two sections!

Bang! Bang!

The two severed thunder beams fell into the seawater and exploded violently on the surface like heavenly thunder.

However, the mighty thunder, although forcibly cut, still transmitted a considerable portion through the Red Sky Sword to Ling Chen’s hand, arm, causing wisps of smoke to rise from his right palm gripping the sword hilt.

The beam just now was an offensive move unleashed by the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale using the thunder source power within its body, with extraordinary power. Ordinary people would find it extremely difficult to even block it, let alone cut through it.

”In the skull of the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale, there is a Thunder Source Crystal, which is the source of the thunder energy released by the whale. Acquiring the Thunder Source Crystal would definitely elevate the understanding and cultivation of Thunder Intent to another level.”

Although Ling Chen’s palm was burning, his excitement didn’t diminish. He had encountered many sea beasts along the way, but this was the first time seeing one on the level of the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale.

Ling Chen chose to return to the Nine Provinces Land by boat alone. A significant reason was to hunt sea beasts for training.

With a thought, Ling Chen disappeared from his original spot. His figure flickered, and the next moment, he appeared above the water where the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale was.

One sword pierced into the sea, emitting a strand of highly compressed thunder sword qi, cutting through the water resistance as if it didn’t exist. In the blink of an eye, the sword qi shot towards the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale’s forehead.

With a ”puchi” sound, a charred hole appeared on the whale’s forehead, but it wasn’t deep enough to penetrate the skull completely.

This attack, however, thoroughly enraged the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The seawater erupted and surged wildly, shooting up mighty walls of water that surrounded Ling Chen. Streaks of thunder flashed on these walls, indicating they contained fierce thunder force, not just ordinary water walls.

Splash!

The massive body of the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale broke through the water surface, its eyes seemingly locking onto Ling Chen’s position. Following that, thunder lights like lasers shot out.

The speed of the thunder lights was astonishing, but Ling Chen had no intention of dodging. Once the thunder lights arrived, Ling Chen’s sword either blocked or cut them, breaking them all.

With each collision, Ling Chen felt his understanding of Thunder Intent taking a step further.

Man and beast battled intensely on the sea, becoming entangled in a difficult struggle.

The seawater violently exploded, raising incredible waves. Ling Chen never left the range of the thunder rays, moving repeatedly within the area, while countering directly with the sword and continuously striking the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale, leaving numerous bloody marks.

But Ling Chen was not entirely unscathed, with several spots on his body struck by thunder lights, where flesh had been charred black.

The injuries affected Ling Chen’s speed to some extent, and his understanding of Thunder Intent gradually reached saturation.

”It’s time to end this battle.”

A sharp gleam suddenly appeared in Ling Chen’s eyes, and he suddenly unleashed a violent slash with his sword, executing Blue Lotus Capture. A massive sword qi lotus appeared in front and swept towards the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale.

Bang!

Splitting the seawater apart, the sword qi lotus crashed down, smashing onto the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale and sinking its enormous body.

The skin and flesh on the whale’s body where it was hit by the sword qi lotus were ripped apart, and a miserable howl was heard, showing it was heavily wounded.

Not giving the whale any chance to breathe, Ling Chen clamped his middle two fingers together and emitted a pale blue sword qi.

Puchi!

The sword qi followed the vortex, piercing through the whale’s flesh, instantly penetrating its body, invading the internal organs.

The area hit by the sword qi immediately froze large swathes of flesh, even damaging the whale’s internal organs with cold. The whale’s thunderous eyes filled with a look of fear.

It finally understood that this human had not been fighting with full strength before, and now, it couldn’t withstand the power he erupted with!

Knowing Ling Chen’s strength, the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale’s body immediately began to sink, trying to retreat back to the seabed.

”Trying to escape?”

Ling Chen was determined to obtain the Thunder Source Crystal within the Thunder Eye Colossal Whale, and there was no way he would allow it to escape easily. Just as the whale started to sink, he plunged into the sea like an arrow, extending his right hand, and consecutively pointed out four fingers with the remaining four fingertips.

Pupupupu!

Four blue sword qi pierced through the seawater, leaving an icy path in the water, shooting at the whale’s wound with lightning speed.

The Thunder Eye Colossal Whale, heavily injured by this, saw its thunderous eyes dimming. Noticing this, Ling Chen’s eyes glimmered with a sharp gleam, and he consecutively unleashed five Blue Silk Evening Snow moves, all piercing into the whale’s organs. If it weren’t for the whale’s massive body, these five sword qi would directly kill it.

Feeling the whale’s rapidly declining aura, Ling Chen, while holding the Red Sky Sword, sped towards the seabed like an arrow, tearing through the water, and at the moment he approached the whale, thrust his sword into its forehead.

The sharp sword qi pierced into the whale’s brain, obliterating its brain nerves. In successive heavy blows, coupled with this fatal strike, the whale’s eyes completely dimmed, and its vitality began to dissipate.

Withdrawing the Red Sky Sword, Ling Chen quickly swam upwards, breaking through the seawater and stopping on the surface. In front of him, the sea had already turned blood red, and the next moment, a massive carcass floated up.
