Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 820: Sword Sect Elders

Zhong Cunhai released a heavy sigh and told Dan Qing. ”Yueling has indeed recovered now, but I canʼt see her, as Grandpa Huang and the others forbade me to see her. Moreover, I heard that they already handed her over to another man, and she lives with him now.”

”Oh?” Dan Qing turned to him in surprise. ”Who is that man? Are you going to give up on getting Yueling back?”

”What can I do?” Zhong Cunhai asked back with a bitter smile. ”Even though I donʼt want to give up on getting Yueling, I feel that I no longer have a chance to be with her, and it is my own fault, especially since I broke off our engagement after she fell ill. That manʼs name is Mo Chen, and he is Grandpa Huangʼs sole disciple.”

”Mo Chen?” Dan Qing frowned after she heard that. ”Did he come from that heretic Mo clan?”

”No.” Zhong Cunhai denied that. ”Grandpa Huang hates those heretics so much, so he wouldnʼt possibly accept Mo Chen as his disciple, let alone hand over Yueling to him, so I thought that that name was just his pseudonym.

Actually, Iʼve asked my mother to investigate him, but she couldnʼt find any information about him; even the people in Tian City donʼt know anything about him, so I donʼt know where to look for them.”

”I see.” Dan Qing then hugged Zhong Cunhaiʼs hand. ”Brother, what if I help you forget her?”

”What do you mean by that?” Zhong Cunhai asked as he tried to pull his hand out of Dan Qingʼs embrace, but she hugged it tighter instead. ”Let go of my hand, or Senior Brother Ouyang will be angry with me if he sees us like this.”

”Do you still not understand?” Dan Qing asked with a sad look.

”I-” Instantly, Zhong Cunhaiʼs eyes widened in shock, and he didnʼt expect that Dan Qing would be so bold.

However, Dan Qing only kissed him for a moment before hugging Zhong Cunhai. ”Brother, I have never liked Senior Brother Ouyang, and I only like you, but you never understand my feelings.”

”I-” Zhong Cunhai felt at a loss to give Dan Qing an answer to her confession, as he had never liked other women except Tian Yueling.

Dan Qing naturally realized this and released Zhong Cunhai from her arms before walking away. ”Letʼs meet our master now.”

”Qing-”

”You donʼt need to say anything.” Dan Qing interrupted Zhong Cunhai as she continued walking. ”I know you only like her, but I will never give up on my feelings, and I will make you willing to accept me in the future.”

Zhong Cunhai let out a heavy sigh after hearing that, and he followed his sect sister, but her words just now kept ringing in his mind.

Before long, they arrived at a training room, and there was a middle-aged man with a long beard practicing with two swords. ”Why have you come here, Qing and Cunhai?”

”Master, we saw two female disciples who were about to join our sect, but their cultivation was still in the mortal realms.” The man turned to Dan Qing. ”Even so, their sword energy was much stronger than that of the Huang Class disciples, so we came here to tell you.”

”Oh?” The man was surprised to hear that. ”Are you sure that their sword energy is that strong?”

”Yes, Master.” Zhong Cunhai also spoke to him. ”Even though we only saw them from a distance, I could see that they were used to holding swords, so I thought you would be interested in recruiting them.”

”I see.” The man put away his two swords and cleansed himself with qi. ”Letʼs go. I will assess their abilities myself. If they are like you two say, I will take them as my disciples.”

Sometime later, the three of them had arrived at another area, and they observed Feng Qiong and Feng Xing, who were undergoing tests to join their sect by fighting other disciples.

However, their master looked surprised when Feng Qiong used her fire clones, and she also demonstrated her sword dancing. ”Such a beautiful sword technique! Her movements look soft and irregular, but her every attack is accurate, and I have never seen such a technique before.”

”I agree with you, Master.” Dan Qing said as she nodded repeatedly. ”If I were to fight him without our cultivation, it would probably be too hard to deal with her attacks.”

”Yes.” The man agreed with that. ”Unlike her, your sword technique is more violent, but you can use it because your speed is above average thanks to your wind element. As for her, she doesnʼt have a wind element, so she uses her fire clones to overcome her lack of speed. Moreover, her clones are not ordinary clones, and they look so alive, so it wonʼt be easy for you to fight her.”

”What about the other woman, Master?” Zhong Cunhai asked as he pointed at Feng Xing.

”Hmm?” The man rubbed his beard as he paid attention to Feng Xingʼs movements. ”Her attacks are sharper than the other one, and she can also read her enemyʼs moves precisely. However, her movements are not as agile as her sisterʼs, and thereʼs something missing from her technique.”

”Eh? What do you mean by that, Master?”

”Pay close attention to her movements.” However, they still seemed not to understand their masterʼs meaning, so he explained it to them. ”Her technique is not a single sword technique but a combination sword technique, and her attacks are not optimal because her partner is not by her side.”

”A combined sword technique?” They turned to the man in surprise.

”Yes, Iʼm sure that his technique is a combination technique.” The man nodded to them. ”If her partner were to fight together with her, that brat Hong Meng wouldnʼt be able to keep up with her, and he would have lost a long time ago.”

”Are you interested in recruiting them, Master?” Dan Qing asked him as she looked at the two women with an excited look, and she seemed impatient to fight with them.

Not only her, but even Zhong Cunhai also seemed eager to fight with them, especially Feng Qiong, as he had never met a swordmaster who fought together with clones.

”Haha.” The man laughed out loud after seeing their expressions. ”You two are right; their talents will be wasted if someone else trains them, so I will take them to be my disciples, and you two can help them to improve their swordsmanship.”

”Thatʼs great.” Dan Qing exclaimed happily and pushed her master gently. ”Master, hurry up! You have to go there now, or they will be scrambling to recruit them.”

”Why are you so impatient, Qing?” The man asked, shaking his head.

”Haha.” Dan Qing laughed at that. ”Master, you already have three male disciples, and I am your only female disciple, so I want you to recruit them to accompany me.”

”All right.”

.

.

”Dongfang Jiansheng!” Several elders in charge of testing the two women exclaimed loudly, and their expressions turned ugly at his arrival.

Hearing that, Feng Xing and Feng Qiong immediately stopped fighting and turned to them. The two disciples who were their opponents also looked at the elders, but they smiled bitterly as soon as they saw Donfang Jiansheng, and they were also aware of the purpose of his coming.

”Haha!” Dongfang Jiansheng laughed because of their expressions. ”Why are you reacting like that? Am I not allowed to come here?”

”Tch.” An old man gritted his teeth and shouted at him. ”Hey, Jiansheng! You already have four direct disciples, so you should leave these two girls to us.”

”Ruan Pangwu! If you can beat me now, I will leave these two girls to you.” Dongfang Jiansheng said as a sword qi appeared behind him. ”Otherwise, their talents will be wasted if they become your disciples, as your sword technique is inferior to mine.”

Ruan Pangwu frowned after hearing his ridicule, but another old man immediately stopped them. ”All right, you guys donʼt need to make a fuss like this, and we can leave the decision to the two girls.”

”Hey, Wang Chen! Are you going to continue letting him act like this?” Ruan Pangwu asked as he pointed at Dongfang Jiansheng. ”He always snatches talented prospective disciples who want to join our sect, and I will not continue to remain silent about his behavior.”

”What can you do? Can you beat him?” Wang Chen asked back with a frown. ”We all know that Jiansheng is the best swordsman among us, and he can teach them better than us. Moreover, we are all in the same sect, so we donʼt need to think about our personal interests, and we should think about whatʼs best for our sect.”

”No! I wonʼt hand them over to him.” Ruan Pangwu said as he moved in front of the two women, and he asked them. ”Are you two willing to become my direct disciples?”

”Hey, Pangwu! You better not scare them like that.” Wang Chen shouted as he walked beside them, and he then turned to Dongfang Jiansheng. ”How about we show them our sword techniques? That way, we brothers donʼt need to fight, and they can choose for themselves which of us will be their master.”

However, an old woman suddenly appeared in their midst, causing them to frown. ”In that case, I will join you guys; I am also interested in recruiting them as my direct disciples.”
