Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 803: Gui Ya - Tao Ruirui

”What do you think of Elder Chuqingʼs idea?” Mao Erlong asked once they arrived in front of their residence.

Shang Meiqi shook her head. ”We still have three days before Mo Chen returns, so there is no need for us to make a hasty decision, and we can think about this well.”

”En, youʼre right.” Mao Erlong then said to her. ”However, I didnʼt expect that Yun Gongzhu would be willing to become his partner, especially since she once said that she would never look for a new partner. But now, she has gone back on her own words, so I feel a little curious towards Mo Chen.”

”You donʼt need to be too curious about him, and we will meet Mo Chen in three days.” Shang Meiqi then walked into the building. ”Letʼs go; we have to meet the others to share everything we got from the previous mission.”

Huang Ba, who had just finished having fun with Qian Ye, smiled happily after he listened to his little sisterʼs message. ”What about our plans for the Ouyang Clan? Is everything ready?”

”Everything is ready, young master.” Qian Ye replied with a nod. ”My sister-in-law has started mixing those potions into their water source and food over the past few days, so we just need to wait for them to take effect.”

”I see.” Huang Ba nodded in understanding before speaking to her again. ”Anyhow, Tian Huang already has suspicions about your husband, and he didnʼt even invite him to the meeting, so you should caution him to be more cautious. Otherwise, they will learn about our plans, and we will be in serious trouble.

”I know.” Qian Ye suddenly remembered something. ”Young master, my nephew contacted me yesterday, and he told me that he saw my daughter at the Eternal Spring Sect.”

”Hmm? Is that information valid?” Huang Ba asked with an excited look.

Qian Ye explained it to him directly. ”My nephew is one of the Xuan Class disciples in the Eternal Spring Sect, but he told me that Nichang doesnʼt live alone. He lives together with Qiao Lingzhi, Tian Yueling, and three other women.”

”The young miss of the Qiao Clan?” Huang Ba looked surprised to hear that, but he was not surprised by Tian Yuelingʼs presence in the sect.

”Yes.” Qian Ye replied with a nod. ”Nichang and Lingzhi have been friends for a long time, and they are truly inseparable, so she probably joined the sect to accompany my daughter. However, my nephew doesnʼt know anything about the other three women, but Iʼve asked him to investigate their identities.”

Huang Ba then got out of bed and got dressed. ”I just got a message from Zuxian, and she asked me to wait in Song City, so I will go there now. As for those three women who live with your daughter, you must tell me directly after your nephew has managed to get their identities.”

”Yes, young master.”

Shortly after Huang Ba left, Nangong Yuhai entered the room. ”Where did he go? Why didnʼt you forbid him from wandering around on his own?”

”Do you think I can forbid him from leaving?” Qian Ye asked back as she shook her head. ”Iʼve found our daughterʼs whereabouts, and sheʼs in the Eternal Spring Sect now.”

”The Eternal Spring Sect?” Nangong Yuhai was surprised to hear that. ”Does that mean Nichang has decided to become a dual cultivator?”

Qian Ye sighed softly after hearing that. ”You are her father, but you donʼt understand our daughterʼs character. Nichang is a shy and reserved girl, and she values her virginity very much, so she will never be a dual cultivator.”

”Then what is she doing in the sect?”

”I donʼt know.” Qian Ye then thought for a while. ”Now itʼs certain that Jiange Xiuxi brought our daughter there, especially since she has ties to the Tian Clan, and Tian Ya is one of her closest acquaintances.”

”Thatʼs true.” Nangong Yuhai nodded in agreement with that. ”Shall we go to the sect to pick her up?”

”No need.” Qian Ye then told him. ”Young Miss Zuxian and young master Gui Ya have already joined the sect, and they will definitely meet Nichang, so we can leave her affairs to them. Moreover, the Tian Clan suspects you now, so Iʼm sure Tian Huang must have asked Tian Yes to stand guard over you, and Jiange Xiuxi might also be in that sect, so itʼs the same as courting death if you go there.”

Nangong Yuhai just nodded and spoke to her. ”In that case, I will go to see Xiangling to ask about the progress of our plans, and I canʼt wait to take over the Ouyang Clan. That way, our clan will become the largest in this southern region, and we will have complete control over everything.”

”All right, you can do it, but you should not arouse their suspicion, as Tian Huang must have already told Ouyang Hao about us.” After Nangong Yuhai left, Qian Ye quickly got dressed, and she also left their clan afterward.

Tao Ruirui, who had just come out of her room, immediately frowned. She then asked the man standing in front of her. ”Who are you? What are you doing in front of my room?”

”My name is Huang Ya, and I only joined this sect three days ago.” Tao Ruirui frowned even more, and Gui Ya spoke directly to her. ”Senior Tao, you donʼt need to look at me like that; I didnʼt come here out of malice.”

”Then what is your purpose in coming here?” Tao Ruirui asked with narrowed eyes. ”If you dare lie to me, I will beat you right here and now.”

Gui Ya responded to her threat with a smile. ”I didnʼt mean to spy on you, but I accidentally overheard your conversation with that woman named Xiao Xiao.”

”Hmm?”

Gui Ya immediately asked Tao Ruirui. ”How about you cooperate with me?”

”What kind of cooperation do you want from me?”

ʼHaha.ʼ Gui Ya inwardly laughed after he saw Tao Ruiruiʼs curious expression, and he made up a story for her. ”Iʼm interested in the little girl named Ling Xiya who lives with her, but Xiao Xiao kept blocking me from approaching her. Thatʼs why I came here to see you, and I thought we could work together to get our targets.”

Gui Yaʼs words piqued Tao Ruiruiʼs interest, especially since Xiao Xiao kept rejecting her, and she felt powerless to get her. ”Can you really help me get her?”

”One hundred percent.” Gui Ya replied with a nod. ”However, you have to help me get Ling Xiya, so our cooperation is mutually beneficial to each other.”

”Hmm?” Tao Ruirui fell into deep thought after hearing that, but she immediately rejected Gui Yaʼs offer. ”Youʼre right, I want to get Xiao Xiao, but I wonʼt act stupidly by trusting a stranger like you, so I donʼt want to cooperate with you.”

”But-”

”You donʼt need to say anything else.” Tao Ruirui immediately stopped Gui Ya. ”Xiao Xiaoʼs continued rejection has made me a little desperate, but youʼre mistaken if you believe you can take advantage of me; therefore, thereʼs no need for you to see me again.”

After she said that, Tao Ruirui left her residence, and she went to see Xiao Xiao again.

”Damn it!” Gui Ya cursed as he stomped on the ground. ”I thought she would accept my offer, but she rejected it instead.”

Suddenly, Gui Ya had an idea and looked around to make sure that no one was watching him, and he then snuck into Tao Ruiruiʼs room before planting a talisman under her bed, which immediately disappeared into the floor. ”Heh! I tried to be nice to you, but you rejected my kindness, so donʼt blame me if I use this on you, and you will fall into my hands soon.”

After Gui Ya left Tao Ruiruiʼs room, Tian Ya suddenly appeared in front of the room, and he went inside to check. However, his efforts were in vain, even though he had used his senses to check every corner of the room. ”What exactly was he doing in this room earlier? Why couldnʼt I find anything?”

Tian Ya then contacted an elder to come see him, and an old man quickly appeared beside him, and he then said to him, ”Old Wen, I want you to use your technique to check this room, I saw a disciple infiltrating here, and I suspect that he has done something.”

”Yes, Sect Master.” Old Wen immediately took out several flags and threw them in every corner of the room, and his hands moved to make several symbols, but all the flags did not show any reaction. ”Thereʼs nothing in this room, or else my flags would definitely shine and move on their own.”

”I see.” Tian Ya nodded in understanding.

Old Wen asked him. ”Who actually broke into this room? Why is your expression so serious?”

Tian Ya released a soft sigh. ”Huang Ya infiltrated this room after Tao Ruirui rejected his offer of cooperation, so I thought he had done something to trap her.”

”Do you suspect that Huang Ya is the demon?”

”Huang Zuxian is definitely not a demon, so I think Huang Ya is one, but I have to find evidence first.” Tian Ya then walked out as he gave out orders. ”You seal this room, Old Wen. You can also tell Tao Ruirui to move to another room, as I donʼt want anything to happen to her.”
