Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 492: Ling Xi - Long Ma

While his women were resting, Ling Yun went to the river and immersed himself in it, for he felt his lust start to go out of control again.

Even though the women could help him calm down, Ling Yun didnʼt want to disturb their rest, so he chose to do so instead.

However, Ling Yun felt something strange in his body, and he sensed that his body was continuously absorbing Yang and Yin Qi simultaneously. ʼHey, Ling Xi, what happened to me? Why did my body become like this?ʼ

”I donʼt have an answer for you.” Ling Xi then explained to him. ”Honestly, I was unaware of your condition before. I only realized it after listening to Shi Xiaoyin and Ling Xiaofeiʼs conversation last night. However, I think it is perfect for you, right? This way, your cultivation will break through quickly, and you can face the war later.”

Ling Yun nodded in understanding but couldnʼt get rid of the bad feeling, for his condition was unusual. ʼHey, system! Show me how much Qi I need to break through to the next stage.ʼ

Cultivation: Middle Core Realm [950,500/1,200,000]

> Yang Qi: 250,0000/1,200,000

> Yin Qi: 700,500/1,200,000

Ling Yun sighed in his heart after reading that. Yet, he didnʼt want to rush to increase his cultivation again, mainly because he hadnʼt broken through to the Middle stage long ago.

After that, Ling Yun closed his eyes, calmed his mind, and entered an unusual state. However, it caused the Chaos Dragonʼs aura to leak from his body, causing the beasts in the forest agitated.

Ling Xi frowned after sensing that, and she tried to wake Ling Yun, but he didnʼt react. ”Whatʼs going on with him? Why is there so much oddity in him all of a sudden?”

Suddenly, Long Ma appeared in front of Ling Xi, but her eyes focused on Ling Yun, who was at the bottom of the river. ”I really didnʼt expect my Master to enter this state.”

”Do you know what happened to him?” Since she didnʼt have an answer about Ling Yunʼs condition, so Ling Xi decided to ask Long Ma.

Long Ma nodded. ”Since your souls are bound to each other, you should be able to read my Masterʼs mind, right?”

”Yes.” Ling Xi responded with a nod. ”However, Ling Yun is not thinking about anything right now, and his mind is completely blank.”

Long Ma then turned to her. ”Currently, my Master has entered a state of emptiness. Naturally, his mind is blank, but you donʼt need to worry about him.”

”State of emptiness?” Ling Xi frowned upon hearing that, for she had heard of it but had never experienced it herself, so she could not fathom what Ling Yun was going through right now.

”En.” Long Ma nodded to her. ”Honestly, I myself donʼt understand how my Master could reach the state of emptiness, especially since that can only be achieved when a person lets go of all the burdens in his mind and heart. As for him, he has so much burden in both of them, so his situation really surprised me.”

After hearing her explanation, Ling Xi nodded in understanding, and she asked again. ”So when will he wake up?”

”I canʼt be sure, and we can only wait for him to wake up on his own.” Long Ma replied as she shook her head. ”Anyway, if my Master wakes up later, I believe he will have difficulty controlling his Chaos Dragon aura. So you should probably help him cover it with your aura, but Iʼm not sure it can completely cover it.”

”I know.” Ling Xi was not surprised by that. Even though she is immortal, she is not as powerful as a primordial being like the Chaos Dragon. ”Then what about the state of his body absorbing Qi? Wonʼt that be a problem for him?”

”No.” Long Ma once again shook her head. ”I donʼt know what happened to his body, but if his condition continues like this, this planet will be in danger.”

”Huh?” Ling Xi looked at Long Ma in shock. ”Please explain to me.”

Long Ma sighed softly. ”As you already know, the quality and quantity of Qi on this planet are very low, and there are too many cultivators here, so the Qi on this planet will continue to be depleted. Assume my Master continues to absorb it at this rate, the Qi on this planet will be depleted even faster, and eventually, it will disappear completely.”

”What!?” Ling Xi let out a loud scream, and her eyes widened in shock. ”If that really happened, then no new cultivators would be born on this planet, nor would other cultivators be able to increase their cultivation anymore.”

”Yes.” Long Ma agreed with that. ”The only way to save this planet is to bring my Master to a higher realm as soon as possible. Unfortunately, he is not ready for that yet, so we can only let the people of this planet make a little sacrifice for him.”

Ling Xi took a deep breath after hearing that, but she still couldnʼt shake off the shock, and she thought back to her meeting with Ling Yun.

Seeing that Ling Xi was speechless, Long Ma said to her again. ”However, I think it would be best if you didnʼt tell my Master about this matter, or else with his character like that, he would definitely become impatient to leave this planet, which would be detrimental to himself.”

”I know.” In fact, even if the cultivators on Earth had to suffer because of Ling Yun, Ling Xi couldnʼt care less about them, for she only cared about him.

After Long Ma disappeared from her sight, Ling Xi sighed heavily and enveloped the river with her aura; only then would no one disturb Ling Yun.

However, Ling Xiaofei suddenly approached Ling Xi. ”Please forgive me, Senior. But I didnʼt mean to eavesdrop on your conversation with that woman earlier.”

”Itʼs fine.” Ling Xi casually replied, especially since she knew that Ling Xiaofeiʼs sense of hearing was too sensitive, so she would no longer be surprised if she could hear them from a distance.

Ling Xiaofei then asked again. ”Is it true that the Qi on this planet will disappear in the future?”

”Yes.” Ling Xi nodded to her. ”However, I canʼt tell when the Qi will disappear from this planet, but I can tell you it will deplete faster as long as Ling Yun stays here.”

”Is there no other solution to prevent that from happening?” Ling Xiaofei asked with a gloomy look, for she knew the risk if Qi disappeared from Earth.

Ling Xi sighed heavily and shook her head. ”The only solution is to take Ling Yun away from this planet. However, if he were to go to a higher realm now, he would face many difficult situations at his current cultivation level.”

”I see.” Ling Xiaofei nodded in understanding and thought of several other solutions. Yet, she couldnʼt find the right solution for Ling Yun, even though she had tried hard to find one. ”In that case, we can only help him get stronger as fast as possible, so he can leave this planet for the safety of many people.”

Ling Xi then turned to her. ”If you want to help him, then you can help him by dual cultivating with him; only then can he leave this planet as soon as possible.”

Ling Xiaofei looked at Ling Xi dumbfoundedly after hearing that, and she shook her head. ”Iʼm sorry, but I have to reject your idea, Senior. Even if I must die in solitude, I will never give myself to any man.”

After she said that, Ling Xiaofei immediately left her, but Ling Xiʼs idea kept ringing in her mind.

Meanwhile, in the Angel Realm, Michael couldnʼt help but sigh after he saw Glaciaʼs condition, which made him feel at a loss as to what decision to make towards her.

Sophie then said to him. ”I think you should let Glacia off this time, especially since she has already suffered greatly from Ling Yunʼs punishment.”

”I know,” Michael answered with an approving nod. ”However, this matter wonʼt be easy, especially if Jophiel finds out about Glaciaʼs condition later. Iʼm sure she will be furious with Ling Yun.”

”Honestly, you donʼt have to think about it, for Ling Yun already told me that no one could find out. Even if Jophiel forced Glacia to tell her the truth, she couldnʼt tell her anything.” Michael raised his eyebrows upon hearing that, and Sophie gave a wry laugh. ”I donʼt know what he did to her, so you donʼt have to look at me like that.”

Michael then sighed and said, with a shake of his head. ”That Ling Yun is indeed terrifying, and he has many extraordinary but strange abilities.”

”I agree with that.” Sophie repeatedly nodded. ”I donʼt like meeting him myself, for all his abilities frighten me so much.”

Michael turned around and looked up at the night sky. ”Sophie, I need you to hide Glacia for a while, and I will handle Jophiel myself.”

”Okay.” Sophie could only agree with that, especially since Jophiel was one of the Archangels, and it would have be better if Michael had deals with her.

After discussing a few other things, Michael immediately left the premises, and Sophie took Glacia elsewhere so no one could find her for the time being.
