Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 484: Talk With Liao Yu

Liao Yu didnʼt answer his question and stared at Ling Yun dumbfoundedly, especially since his face was completely different from the last video call she had with him around two months ago, for he had not swallowed the beauty returning pill back then.

Besides, Ling Yunʼs physique was also a lot different from a year ago, he was no longer as thin and frail as before, and his body looked sturdy and robust.

Liao Yu stretched out her hand, touched Ling Yunʼs cheeks, and rubbed them. ”How did your face and body change so much in two months? I could barely recognize you.”

”Haha.” Ling Yun laughed softly and pulled Liao Yu into his embrace. ”Iʼm glad youʼre finally back in town, especially since we havenʼt seen each other in over a year.”

Yet, Liao Yu hit his chest and complained. ”I returned a week ago, and Iʼve come to this house several times. I even tried to call and message you many times, but your number has never been active, and Iʼm almost desperate because of it.”

”Iʼm sorry, I was somewhere far before, so my number is inactive.” Ling Yun replied apologetically, releasing Liao Yu from his embrace and taking her hand. ”Anyway, I have to go to my momʼs coffee shop first, and weʼll talk afterward.”

”In that case, Iʼll take you there, so we can talk as soon as possible.”

After that, Liao Yu directly escorted Ling Yun to Yi Mingxiaʼs coffee shop, but they did not linger there. After he informed Wu Xin and the others about his motherʼs situation, they immediately left the place directly.

Minutes later, they were already at the side of the lake where they first met, and Liao Yu sat on Ling Yunʼs lap as she leaned against his chest.

However, Ling Yun did not say anything to him, and he simply hugged Liao Yu while listening to her recount her life over the past year.

”How do you feel now? Have you felt relieved after divorcing your husband?” Ling Yun asked as he rubbed Liao Yuʼs hand.

Liao Yu turned her head and smiled at him. ”En, I feel so relieved now, and my life has become so much better after I avoided my ex-husband for a year.”

”Thatʼs good.”

Liao Yu then said to her. ”Anyway, you promised to tell me many things, so now itʼs your turn.”

”Hmm?” Ling Yun felt at a loss to start his story. After thinking for a while, he recounted everything he had experienced in the past few months, starting from his encounter with Wen Qing.

Even though she was in deep shock after Ling Yun said he had almost died, Liao Yu did not interrupt him and chose to listen to his stories first.

However, Ling Yun had not told her about cultivators and the like, and he had deliberately left it for later.

Liao Yuʼs expression kept changing as she listened to all of Ling Yunʼs stories. Sometimes she looks sad, confused, and angry.

After Ling Yun finished his story, Liao Yu finally asked. ”So almost all of them decided to be your women?”

”Yes.” Ling Yun nodded to her. ”They are all my women now, except for Catherine and Nanggong Yingʼer. As for Yang Xiaoyi, I havenʼt met her again until now, especially since she lives in Indonesia now.”

”I see.” Liao Yu nodded in understanding, but her expression was complicated after hearing everything.

Ling Yun then asked. ”So, whatʼs your next plan? Are you willing to be my woman?”

Liao Yu shook her head and answered him. ”Honestly, Iʼm happy to be with you, especially after all our time together. However, I donʼt know if I can share a husband with them, so I canʼt give you any answers yet.”

Ling Yun sighed in his heart upon hearing that, but he knew that Liao Yu was different from Su Fei and the others, so he could only wait for her to be willing to be his woman.

”Are you disappointed with my answer?” Liao Yu asked as he looked at Ling Yun seriously.

”A bit.” Ling Yun answered honestly, for he did feel disappointed by her answer. At first, he thought that Liao Yu would immediately agree to be his woman, but he was wrong.

Liao Yu then turned to face Ling Yun, her arms and legs instantly wrapped around his body, and she rested her head on his broad shoulders. ”Iʼm sorry to disappoint you, but I really canʼt decide right now, so please let me to think about it first.”

”Iʼm not in a hurry either, so you can think about it first.” After thinking about it, Ling Yun immediately carried Liao Yu in his arms. ”Anyway, thereʼs one more thing I wanted to tell you, but I feel at a loss to explain it to you, so Iʼll show it to you straight away.”

Before Liao Yu could ask him, Ling Yun had already taken her by leaps into the air, and he was flying around the city of Hangzhou swiftly, shocking her.

”How... how is this possible?” Liao Yu asked in disbelief as he hugged Ling Yunʼs body tightly, for she was afraid that she might fall down.

As he continued to fly Liao Yu with him, Ling Yun explained to her about cultivators and the world of cultivation, and he told her that Su Fei and the others were also cultivators now.

Although she felt shocked after hearing all that, Liao Yu chose to believe his explanations, especially since they were still flying in the air.

After a while, Ling Yun brought Liao Yu back to the lake; he then held her shoulders. ”Do you want to become cultivators like us? That way, you can live longer than other humans, and we can also be together for a long time.”

”I-”

”Before you answer, you should listen to me again first, and you can decide afterward.” Ling Yun interrupted Liao Yu by placing his index finger on her lips. ”If you become a cultivator, your life will never be peaceful. The world of cultivation is cruel and brutal, and strength is the ultimate law; being killed or killing others is a common thing.

However, if you donʼt want to experience all that and choose to live in peace, I wonʼt teach you how to cultivate.”

Liao Yu was in a dilemma to decide. On the one hand, she wanted to be with Ling Yun, whether she became his woman or not. But on the other hand, she was also terrified after hearing that, and she wasnʼt sure if she could live such a hard life. Soon, she asked him. ”Does that mean youʼve killed people before?”

”Yes.” Ling Yun then raised both of his hands. ”Since I became a cultivator, I have killed too many people, and I will probably kill many more, especially since many dangers and enemies are lurking around the people closest to me.”

Liao Yu gasped in shock after hearing his confession; she then held Ling Yunʼs hands together. ”Can you stop killing people?”

”No.” Ling Yun replied with a shake of his head. ”Even though Iʼve killed so many people, I donʼt kill people indiscriminately; I only kill those who endanger myself and those closest to me.”

”I see.” Liao Yu nodded in understanding and asked him again. ”Will you also protect me if I become a cultivator?”

”Of course.” Ling Yun replied with a firm nod. ”You are one of the people closest to me, so I will protect you, but you must also train and cultivate diligently. After all, I may not always be by your side, so you can protect yourself if something bad happens when Iʼm not around.”

Liao Yu also realized that, especially since Ling Yun had so many women by his side, he couldnʼt possibly prioritize her and had to be fair to others.

After thinking for quite a while, Liao Yu took a deep breath and nodded to him. ”All right, I want to become a cultivator, so you can teach me how to become one.”

”Thatʼs good.” Ling Yun nodded in satisfaction at Liao Yuʼs decision. Even though she hasnʼt decided to be his woman yet, he doesnʼt want to leave her behind. After all, they had been together for a long time, and he also really enjoyed their time together. ”However, we canʼt do it in this place, so Iʼll take you somewhere special.”

After Liao Yu nodded in agreement, Ling Yun opened the portal to the Yin-Yang Chamber and led her inside.

Liao Yuʼs eyes widened, and her jaw dropped as she watched the place change by itself. Moreover, Ling Yun understood her well, and he turned the interior into her favorite garden, accompanied by snow falling from above. ”Hehe. You still remember about this, huh?”

”Haha! Of course, I still remember everything about you.” Ling Yun replied as he laughed, pulling Liao Yu towards the bed and asking her to sit cross-legged on it.

After she followed his order, Liao Yu listened to Ling Yunʼs explanation seriously, and he explained it to her in the simplest way possible.

”Have you understood everything?”

”Yes.”

”Now, you can close your eyes and concentrate, and you will officially become a cultivator once you successfully absorb the Qi into your body.”

After Liao Yu started to concentrate on absorbing Qi, Ling Xi came out of Ling Yunʼs body and sat on his shoulder. ”If my guess is correct, she might awaken a different element from your current women.”
