Chapter 241: Tang Zhiyiʼs Scandal

”Finally awake?”

”Ugh, Sophie, how long was I sleeping?” Mariel asked as soon as she opened her eyes.

”Not too long, you only fell asleep for half an hour.”

ʼHalf an hour, huh? That means I was together with Ling Yun for a month in dream space.ʼ Mariel muttered in her heart as she rubbed her lips, and she could feel that her kiss with him was real. ʼI never thought that kissing a man was so good, and we even kissed a couple of times for a month.ʼ

Sophie raised her eyebrows at seeing Mariel like that, especially since this was the first time she had seen her smile. ”What are you thinking about? Youʼve never smiled before.”

”Hmm?” Marielʼs smile disappeared after hearing her words, and she shook her head. ”I didnʼt think about anything.”

ʼTch! Sheʼs lied to me!ʼ Sophie said to herself, but she didnʼt ask any further.

Elsewhere, there were a lot of reporters gathered in front of a building. They wanted to confirm the news they got this morning, but a lot of security stood in front of them to block the journalists from entering the building.

Meanwhile, inside a room within the building, a young girl hugged Tang Zhiyi tightly while constantly nagging at her. She was nagging at her because she wanted to know the secret to her sudden change in appearance. ”How can you be this young, Zhiyi Jie? You even look much younger than me now!”

Tang Zhiyi was speechless to respond; she couldnʼt say that the change in her appearance was due to the pill Ling Yun gave her. She is well aware that her new look will inevitably cause her problems, one of which is the jealousy of other actresses toward her.

”Are you really not doing plastic surgery, Zhiyi?” A woman who was the same age as Tang Zhiyi asked in a sarcastic tone.

However, it wasnʼt Tang Zhiyi who returned her sarcasm, but the young girl. ”Hump! Zhiyi Jie is not like you; she doesnʼt even need to wear heavy makeup like you to look pretty, Auntie Fang Yiping!”

”You-!”

”You two donʼt need to argue about it; Iʼve never had plastic surgery, because I donʼt need anything like that.” Tang Zhiyi interrupted them; she didnʼt want the atmosphere between them to be awkward because of her, so she pulled the young girl out with her. ”Letʼs go outside, Chen Ying.”

However, just as they were about to leave the room, another young woman stopped them and said. ”Youʼd better not go out just yet, Zhiyi Jie.”

Tang Zhiyi frowned, and she could hear many people shouting from the outside; they also kept calling her name. ”Whatʼs going on out there, Shen Yu?”

Shen Yu did not answer her, and she gave her smartphone to Tang Zhiyi.

Tang Zhiyiʼs eyes widened when she saw the video, and Chen Ying also looked shocked after seeing it.

”There are too many reporters outside who want to get news from you, Zhiyi Jie. The higher-ups asked me to stop you from going outside, and they are still trying to block access to the video.” Shen Yu explained to her what their superiors had told her.

”Is this woman really you, Zhiyi Jie? Is that young man your lover? Because you kiss so passionately.” Chen Ying curiously asked as she continued watching the video.

Chen Ying herself had often read the news about Tang Zhiyi, especially the news about her being in relationships with many young men. But so far the news has never been proven, and this is the first time someone has recorded evidence. Moreover, it was clear from the video that she was the one who took the initiative to kiss Ling Yun.

Tang Zhiyi sighed softly, and she proudly acknowledged her relationship with Ling Yun in front of them. ”Chen Ying! Shen Yu! The woman in the video is indeed me, and the man is my future husband. To be honest, this video was taken after he proposed to me, which is why I immediately kissed him. However, I wonʼt tell you guys about his identity, because I donʼt want them to intrude on his privacy.”

Chen Ying and Shen Yuʼs eyes widened and their jaws dropped, they really didnʼt expect that Tang Zhiyi would admit her relationship with Ling Yun so blatantly. Moreover, she mentioned him as her future husband, and he had even proposed to her.

On the other hand, Fan Yiping smiled to herself upon hearing that. ʼHey! Iʼm sure she will disappear after this, and there will be no one else who can compete with me.ʼ

”Why are you two looking at me like that?” Tang Zhiyi asked with a smile, she actually wasnʼt surprised that they had reacted like that.

Chen Ying looked at Tang Zhiyi suspiciously. ”Does your current appearance have anything to do with him, Zhiyi Jie? Moreover, that man is still very young, and I think he is still the same age as me and Shen Yu.”

ʼTch! Chen Yingʼs instinct is always sharp!ʼ Tang Zhiyi inwardly muttered, and she then answered. ”Well, thatʼs true! Indeed, heʼs the one who made me look like this now, and heʼs a bit younger than you two, but heʼs much more mature than you guys.”

They were dumbfounded after hearing that; they really didnʼt expect that Tang Zhiyi would be in a relationship with a young man who was younger than them, and he had already proposed marriage to her.

”You should introduce him to us, Zhiyi Jie! Iʼm curious what kind of man he is to win your heart.” Chen Ying was excited after returning to her senses, and Shen Yu also nodded in agreement with her words.

ʼIf I introduce the two of you to him, then Iʼm afraid you both will fall into his arms as well.ʼ Tang Zhiyi inwardly muttered as she smiled bitterly. She was very familiar with Ling Yunʼs charm, let alone young girls like them, even a mature woman like her wouldnʼt be able to resist his charms. Therefore, she felt for sure that they would fall in love with him the moment they met him.

Suddenly, Tang Zhiyiʼs smartphone rang, and she raised her eyebrows at the name that appeared on the screen. ”You guys wait here, Iʼll go meet that person right now.”

Meanwhile, Ling Yun was already standing in front of the two-story building, and Ling Xi, who was sitting on his shoulder, asked. ”Are any of your customers in this building?”

”Yes, she is my seventh customer.” He answered as he walked into the building, and the first floor of the building was filled with many mannequins wearing expensive clothes, he then approached the female receptionist. ”Excuse me, Miss. My name is Ling Yun, and I came here to see Ying Zi.”

The female receptionist looked up at him, and she was instantly captivated by his charm. ʼUgh! He is so young, and his face is so handsome!ʼ ”Are you really Ling Yun?”

”Yes.” Ling Yun nodded to her. ”Ying Zi asked me to come here today.”

”I see.” The female receptionist then pointed towards the second floor. ”You can find Sister Ying in her room on the second floor; she has been waiting for you since morning.”

”Thank you, Miss.” Ling Yun then went to the second floor to meet Ying Zi.

ʼUgh! Heʼs not only very handsome, but heʼs also very polite, unlike those rich kids.ʼ The female receptionist muttered in her heart as she continued to stare at Ling Yun.

”Come in.”

Ling Yun walked into the room after he heard Ying Ziʼs voice from inside, and he was surprised to see her appearance because she was only wearing a light dress without a bra, and he could see her nipples protruding from under her dress. ”Hey, I havenʼt seen you for a while, but you still havenʼt changed.”

”Humph!” Ying Zi snorted softly and walked over to him, then she hugged his neck and kissed him briefly. ”Donʼt you like it?”

”Of course, I like it.” Ling Yun replied with a chuckle and led Ying Zi to sit on the sofa. ”Are you not busy anymore now?”

”To be honest, after the last fashion show, I decided to take a break for a while.” Ying Zi replied as she sat on Ling Yunʼs lap. ”However, I didnʼt expect that Zhao Yao and your aunt came to me, and they offered me to cooperate with them. But what surprised me the most is that you are the owner of the company, which means you are a millionaire now.”

”Haha.” Ling Yun laughed wryly at that. ”I myself did not expect that Wei Feng would give the company to me, but I know that he did it for the sake of Su Fei. And since I have no experience in the business world, I asked Yao and Aunt Mingzhu to take care of the company.”

Ying Zi nodded in understanding. ”To be honest, it was a good decision. Especially with Zhao Yaoʼs popularity and ability, Iʼm sure that your company will develop even faster. Not to mention, you still have Tang Zhiyi by your side; I believe she wonʼt refuse to help you either.”

”So are you willing to cooperate with us?” Ling Yun asked with a smile.
