Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 132: Song Mei A Cultivator

At the time when Ling Yun was strolling downtown, Yi Mingxia and the Yi twins were gathered in Song Meiʼs room, and she was checking on her motherʼs condition again. Before long, she had retracted her qi and said. ”Your body is getting better now, but since youʼve been sick for too long, we still have to supply your body with nutritious food, Mom.”

”Thank you; Iʼm really glad that you are willing to come here to see me, Mingxia.” Song Me said as she rubbed her eldest daughterʼs hand; despite this, she felt guilty towards her because her past decision to support her former son-in-law had caused her years of pain.

Understanding her motherʼs thoughts, Yi Mingxia rubbed her hand. ”As I told you before, you donʼt have to think about everything that has passed anymore, Mom. I already have a happy life, and I will continue to be happy in the future.”

”Thatʼs right, Grandma. Aunt Mingxia is happy now, so youʼd better forget about the past.” Yi Shu joined in as she sat on the side of her grandmotherʼs bed. ”Moreover, Aunt Mingxia has reunited with Lingʼer now, and she also has Yunʼer by her side.”

”Is it true that you have reunited with Lingʼer, Mingxia?” Yi Mingxia answered her with a nod and a smile, which made Song Mei feel a little relieved. ”Then where is Yunʼer? Why isnʼt he here?”

”This is Yunʼerʼs first time going to another city, so he wants to take a walk downtown first, Mom.” Yi Mingxia sighed in her heart, noticing her motherʼs expression as she asked her son; she then turned to her niece. ”Why donʼt you teach her how to cultivate, Shuʼer?”

”Thatʼs-”

”We wanted to teach grandma how to cultivate, but Master told us to wait for her to recover first, Aunt Mingxia.” Yi Shi, who had been silent until now, finally spoke up.

Song Mei then asked in confusion. ”What do you mean by cultivating? Is it like the kung fu masters in the movies?”

”Something like that, Mom.” Yi Mingxia then lifted her mother to sit on the bed, and she moved to sit behind her to support her body. ”Sit cross-legged, close your eyes, then follow my pointer, Mom.”

”Alright.” Song Mei did as her eldest daughter said.

Yi Mingxia then started to explain to her about cultivation and cultivators, she also taught her how to absorb Qi in the air, and Song Mei listened to her eldest daughterʼs words carefully.

After she finished explaining everything, Yi Mingxia asked her mother to try to absorb the Qi in the air. Song Mei immediately did as she explained, even though she already understood her eldest daughterʼs explanation, but she kept failing to absorb the Qi from the air.

An hour later, Yi Mingxia and Yi twins breathed a sigh of relief after Song Mei managed to absorb Qi, and they could only wait for her to finish filling her dantian with Qi, only then would she officially become a cultivator.

ʼAlthough grandma has successfully absorbed qi, but her absorption rate is too slow.ʼ Yi Shu muttered inwardly.

Yi Shi, who had a special connection with her as they were twins, kept looking at their grandmother with repeated nods; he agreed with her thoughts.

Yi Mingxia also felt the same way with them. ʼSigh, itʼs probably because her condition hasnʼt completely recovered yet, thatʼs why her absorption rate is too slow compared to when we first became cultivators.ʼ

Two hours later, they felt a small shockwave release from Song Meiʼs body, it was a sign that she was already a cultivator, and her cultivation was at the Lower Spiritualist Realm. Soon, she opened her eyes and breathed a sigh of relief, then she said. ”This is great, Mingxia I can feel my body recovering faster after I absorbed the qi.”

”Of course, because qi is very beneficial to our body, Grandma.” Yi Shu said with a chuckle; she then hugged her grandmother and continued. ”Not only will you recover faster, but your body will also become stronger each time your cultivation breaks through, and you will also be more immune to common illnesses.”

Song Mei nodded in understanding, she then asked. ”Then what about Jieʼer and Mingzhu? Are they also cultivators?”

”Mingzhu has been a cultivator for about two weeks, Mom.” Yi Mingxia then paused and thought for a moment before she continued. ”As for Yi Jie, he canʼt be a cultivator like us because he doesnʼt have spiritual veins.”

Hearing that, Song Meiʼs expression became gloomy, she was now a cultivator who could live a long life, while her son was just an ordinary person who had a short life. Even though oneʼs life and death were preordained, no parent wanted to witness the death of their child.

Yi Shu caressed her grandmother back and said. ”I know how you feel, Grandma. I and Shi feel the same way about you, but Father has long since accepted his fate. Even though itʼs very sad for us, but we canʼt do anything for him. Since he doesnʼt have spiritual veins, he can never become a cultivator like us.”

Song Mei inwardly sighed and nodded, Yi Mingxia then put the Beauty Returning Pill into her motherʼs mouth. ”Swallow this pill, and you will like the effect of the pill, Mom.”

Even though she didnʼt know about the pill, Song Mei swallowed it without hesitation, she knew for a fact that her eldest daughter would never harm her.

After that, Yi Mingxia immediately covered her nose with Qi, as she already knew how putrid the black liquid her motherʼs body would soon release.

Minutes later, the Yi twins felt nauseous as their grandmaʼs body was covered in the black liquid. Song Mei herself also felt the same as them, and she almost fainted from the stench. Fortunately, Yi Mingxia immediately used her qi to dissipate the black liquid, but the smell still lingered.

Yi Shu and Yi Shiʼs eyes widened when they saw their grandmaʼs new appearance because her appearance was no longer that of a woman in her late sixties; she was now more like a woman in her early thirties, and even the wrinkles in her body disappeared completely.

Song Mei looked at her two grandchildren in confusion. ”Whatʼs wrong with you two? Why are you guys reacting like that?”

Hearing that, the twins exchanged glances for a moment, Yi Shu then took out a mirror from her storage ring and handed it to their grandma. ”You can see for yourself, Grandma.”

”Huh!?” Song Mei was shocked when she saw her reflection in the mirror, she kept rubbing her face in disbelief. ”How... How can I return to my youthful appearance?”

”This is the effect of the pill you swallowed just now, Mom. I, Mingzhu, Lingʼer, and Ling Yin have also swallowed the same pill.” Yi Mingxia explained as she hugged her mother from behind and looked at her through the mirror. ”Did you like it?”

”En, I like it.” Song Mei replied with a nod.

After that, Yi Mingxia escorted Song Mei to the bathroom, and she helped her to get rid of the stench.
