Chapter 109: Talk With Yi Twins

Living Room

”Now tell me, why did you two suddenly come here, Shi, Shu?” Yi Mingxia asked the Yi twins, she had tried asking them earlier, but they said to wait for Ling Yun first.

”Father asked us to pick you up, Aunt Mingxia. Grandmaʼs condition is getting worse, and she wants to see you.” Yi Shi anxiously explained to his aunt, he knew that his aunt was still angry with his grandmother, and she still couldnʼt forgive her until now.

Yi Mingxia raised her eyebrows and replied coldly. ”I will never return to that house again, so the two of you can return by yourselves to Beijing tomorrow.”

”Aunt Mingxia, -”

”Iʼm not coming back, Shu! If she wants to see me, let her come here by herself. For nearly twenty years, she didnʼt even dare come here to see me.” Yi Mingxia sticks to her decision, she doesnʼt want to return to that city anymore.

Ling Yun sighed inwardly and said. ”You should go to see her, Mom.”

Yi Mingxia turned to him in confusion. ”Why?”

”Even though you are still angry with your mother, I know you still care about her. If anything happens to her, then you will regret it for the rest of your life, and I donʼt want that.” Ling Yun calmly spoke; he didnʼt want his mother to feel such sorrow and suffering when her grandmother was no longer around.

ʼHer mother is your grandmother, you know!ʼ The Yi twins inwardly muttered, but they couldnʼt blame Ling Yun, because he had never met their grandmother since birth.

”But-”

”You must go, Mom.” Ling Yun immediately interrupted her, Yi Mingxia looked at him uncertainly, but Ling Yun immediately hugged her. ”Itʼs okay, you should go see her for a few days, I really donʼt want you to regret it later, Mom.”

”Fine! But you have to come with me.” Yi Mingxia finally gave in to her sonʼs persuasion, the Yi twins were relieved to hear that, and they then gratefully looked at Ling Yun.

”Alright, I will accompany you to Beijing.” Ling Yun replied with a nod, as he had never been to another city before. ”But before that, I have to take care of the few people who will be coming here.”

”Hmm? Who are they?” Yi Mingxia and the others looked at him seriously.

Ling Yun smiled faintly. ”Lu Hao and Ling Xiya are on their way here, and Yun Mingyue will arrive in this town tomorrow morning.”

”Eh? Lu Hao and Ling Xiya are already on their way here?” Yi Mingxia, Yi Mingzhu, and Ling Yin were shocked to hear that. ”Arenʼt they going to be in town tomorrow morning?”

”Moreover, Lu Hao has never left Ling Xiaoʼs side, but why did he suddenly come here?” This time, it was Yi Shu who asked him, as she could no longer contain her curiosity. ”Anyway, I didnʼt expect that all of you are cultivators now, and you guys also have a relationship with Madam Feng. But strangely, I canʼt detect Yunʼerʼs cultivation.”

”Huh?” The three women turned to the Yi twins in surprise, since they were novice cultivators, they still didnʼt understand many things about cultivation and such. Yi Mingxia then asked them. ”Are you two also cultivators?”

Ling Yun chuckled upon hearing them. ”I knew from the start that they were both cultivators, and their cultivations were at the Peak Stage Foundation Realm, Mom.”

This time, it was the Yi twins who were shocked. They were surprised that Ling Yun could see their cultivation. And there were only two possibilities for that: Ling Yunʼs cultivation was equal to them or even above them. Yi Shu curiously asked. ”How can you detect our cultivation?”

”Secret!” replied Ling Yun with a wink, making Yi Shu feel irritated. ”I told you before, donʼt be curious about me, or you will fall in love with me.”

”Donʼt tease her anymore, Yunʼer. The three of us have only recently become cultivators, and we still have to learn more about cultivation and the like, Shu.” Yi Mingxia explained as she laughed softly, she then thought for a moment before she continued with a mysterious smile on her face. ”As for Yunʼer, I canʼt explain it to you, but his situation is really special.”

”Hmm?” The Yi twins looked at Ling Yun with their brows furrowed.

However, Ling Yun only smiled at them, and he had no intention of explaining his situation to them.

Seeing his expression, Yi Shu couldnʼt help but pout her lips, she then spoke in astonishment. ”But you are great, Aunt Mingxia! You have a strong Light Element, and you might be able to heal grandma later. As for Aunt Mingzhu and Aunt Yin, you guys are also great because you have Wind and Lightning elements.”

”Like Big Sis, I also still have a lot to learn, Shu.” Ling Yin nodded in agreement with Yi Mingzhuʼs words, she herself still couldnʼt master her technique properly.

”Anyway, I havenʼt fully mastered my technique yet, Shu. So Iʼm not sure if I can heal her or not.” Yi Mingxia said with a shake of the head.

The Yi twins nodded in understanding, Yi Shi then said. ”I know, but you can try it first, Aunt Mingxia. At least, grandma has some hope of being able to survive and recover like before.”

”Alright, Iʼll try to heal her when we get to Beijing.” Even though she was still angry with her mother, but Yi Mingxia didnʼt want her to die either. Since she now can heal others, she intends to heal her mother.

*Tap... Tap...*

They turned towards the sound of the footsteps, and they saw Feng Ruxue walking down from the second floor together with Su Fei. ”I didnʼt expect that Qin Shuangʼs two disciples were still related to Ling Yun.”

”Madam Feng!” The Yi twins greeted Feng Ruxue respectfully, Yi Shu then said to her. ”But we were the ones who didnʼt expect you to know them, Madam Feng.”

”To be honest, Iʼve only known them this week.” Feng Ruxue answered as she sat down to join them, she then embraced her daughter. ”Anyway, Feiʼer is my daughter, and she is one of Ling Yunʼs women.”

”Eh!?” The Yi twins were surprised to hear that, and they then looked at Su Fei and Ling Yun in turn. Moreover, to their knowledge, Feng Ruxue had never married, and even many men tried to win her heart, but they were all resolutely rejected by her.

However, they were even more shocked when Ling Yun moved to sit between Feng Ruxue and Su Fei, and he embraced them together, even more so when they heard his words. ”Not only Feiʼer, but Ruxue is also one of my women.”

”What!?” Yi Shu and Yi Shi got up from their seats while exclaiming loudly, and both of them stared at them with wide eyes.

Feng Ruxue could only helplessly shake her head; she actually didnʼt want to reveal her relationship with Ling Yun. But instead, he revealed their relationship to the Yi twins.

Su Fei, Yi Mingxia, and the others only laughed softly at their reactions.

Soon, Yi Shu sat back down, but her gaze was still fixated on them, and she still couldnʼt escape the shock. Before long, she sighed softly and rubbed her forehead. ”If I had not seen you guys like this with my own eyes, then I truly cannot believe that you managed to win Madam Fengʼs heart, Yunʼer.”

”If the men in the cultivator realm find out about your relationship with Madam Feng, they will be furious with you, and they might kill you out of jealousy.” Yi Shi added, he knew for a fact that the young masters of that place yearned for Feng Ruxue as their partner, but none of them had managed to win her over.

Feng Ruxue shook her head at them. ”If they dare to harm Ling Yun, then I will destroy them along with their clansmen.”

The Yi twins were stunned for a moment hearing that, and they then smiled wryly. As for Ling Yun, he already knew that Feng Ruxue came from one of the Ancient Clans, the Feng Clan. Moreover, she was also extremely beautiful and strong, so he was no longer surprised that many men tried to court her.

After they talked for a long time, Yi Mingxia asked the Yi twins to stay over, and they then went to their respective rooms.
