Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 91: Wei Feng Decision

Su Fei slumped on the chair in front of the dressing table, holding a contract in her hands. Her face looked so haggard, and her eyes were also swollen; even traces of tears were visible on her cheeks.

Since last night, she couldnʼt sleep at all, and she kept thinking about Ling Yunʼs decision to terminate their contract. She kept looking at the contract in her hands, but her heart was heavy because tearing the contract apart would completely end the relationship between them.

”Whatʼs wrong with you, Wife?” Wei Feng asked as he moved his wheelchair to Su Feiʼs side. He was surprised to see the contract in his wifeʼs hand. ”What are you going to do with the contract?”

Su Fei turned to face Wei Feng, her expression completely shocking him, and his heart tightened seeing her like that.

”Ling Yun has decided to terminate our contract.” Su Fei said, and without her noticing, her tears started falling again.

ʼThis day has finally arrived.ʼ Wei Feng sighed inwardly, he then looked at his wife and seriously asked. ”If you had to choose between me and Ling Yun, which of us would you choose, Wife?”

”I-” Su Fei couldnʼt continue her words; After all, Wei Feng was her husband, and Ling Yun was just her surrogate husband.

Seeing her reaction like that, Wei Feng sighed softly. ”So my guess was right, your heart already belongs to him completely.”

”Itʼs not like that, Husband!” Su Fei let out a small scream, then she hugged Wei Feng and continued. ”I know Iʼm very selfish, but I love you and Ling Yun very much, and I absolutely canʼt lose to either of you.”

In fact, from the first time he decided to allow Su Fei to be with Ling Yun, Wei Feng also thought about the possibility that she would fall in love with him, and it was finally proven that she had truly fallen in love with Ling Yun.

ʼI know that you love me, wife. But sorry, I have to do something for your happiness, and I know your happiness is with him.ʼ Wei Feng inwardly blessed her, and he hugged his wife like one who was about to leave for good.

Soon, Su Fei fell asleep in his arms, he then laid her on the bed. After that, he called someone. ”Is everything ready? Okay... You can come here now, and take me to meet someone.”

--------------------------------------

Ling Yun, who had just opened his eyes, was started by the sound of an incoming call. He then took out his smartphone, and he immediately frowned. ”Wei Feng?”

”Ugh! Who called you so early, Lilʼ Bro?” Ling Ling, who was still sleeping in his arms, asked as she stretched her body.

”Wei Feng contacted me.” Ling Yun then received the phone call, and he curiously asked. ”Why did you contact me so early, Brother Wei?”

{Can we meet now, Ling Yun? There is one important matter that I must talk to you about.}

Ling Yun sighed softly. ”Where? Iʼll see you soon.”

After Wei Feng gave his location, Ling Yun kissed his big sister on the forehead and rushed to the bathroom to clean herself up. As usual, Ling Xi took her ration of semen every time he took a bath.

--------------------------------------

Half an hour later, Ling Yun was standing in front of Wei Feng on a beach, and Wei Feng immediately explained to him why he wanted to meet him.

Ling Yun looked at Wei Feng while frowning; At first, he was confused because he suddenly wanted to meet him, but he had his answer now. ”Are you sure you want to do this? Su Fei will be very sad if you leave without saying anything to her.”

Wei Feng then looked up at the sky and sighed softly. ”How long have you been a cultivator, Ling Yun?”

Ling Yun was taken aback by Wei Fengʼs question, then Wei Feng turned to him with a smile. ”You donʼt need to be surprised, I was also a cultivator like you in the past. Even though my cultivation was crippled now, I could still recognize the Healing Pill that you gave Fei to treat me, and I became certain that you two were cultivators when your mother treated me.”

”You used to be a cultivator too?” Ling Yun asked in disbelief. ”Then why donʼt you teach Fei how to cultivate?”

”You know Feiʼs nature, right?” Ling Yun nodded at him. ”As you know, the cultivation world is cruel and brutal, so I didnʼt want to bring Fei into such a world.”

Ling Yun nodded in understanding of his thoughts, but that didnʼt mean he agreed with his decision. In his opinion, if Wei Feng truly loved Su Fei, then he should also teach her how to cultivate; That way, they could be together for a very long time.

”I know you donʼt agree with my decision, but I have my reasons.” Wei Feng then took a deep breath, before he continued. ”To be honest, my injury was not an accident, Ling Yun. But one of my seniors intentionally injured me, and he was the one who crippled my cultivation.”

”What!?” Ling Yun was shocked by his confession.

Wei Feng laughed softly at his reaction. ”Human greed and ambition have no bounds, Ling Yun. As a cultivator, the stronger you are, the more people will envy you. Even your best friend could betray you one day, and thatʼs what happened to me.”

Ling Yun raised his eyebrows. ”You mean-”

”Yes, as you think.” Wei Feng nodded, and he smiled bitterly. ”That senior of mine used to be my best friend, but he betrayed me when our Master decided to choose me as his heir. He poisoned me, and then he crippled my cultivation.”

Ling Yun took a deep breath, even though he had not entered the true world of cultivation, he was quite familiar with human nature. The seven deadly human emotions are truly terrifying: Pride, Greed, Wrath, Gluttony, Sloth, Envy, and Lust.

”Trust me, Ling Yun. Even the most meritorious person to you, there is a possibility that one day that person will betray you.” Wei Feng added.

[Humph!] Ling Xi snorted at Wei Fengʼs words, but she didnʼt want to refute it.

Ling Yun sighed softly. ”Then what does it have to do with Su Fei? Why did you choose to leave her?”

”Didnʼt we both realize that already?” Wei Feng smiled meaningfully causing Ling Yun to frown. ”Feiʼer loves you very much, Ling Yun. Previously, I saw her staring at our contract with an expression filled with sorrow, it made me realize that my position in her heart has been replaced by you.”

Ling Yun shook his head. ”Thereʼs no way Fei is like that, she-”

Wei Feng waved his hand to stop him. ”I know youʼre not an idiot, so you donʼt have to pretend you didnʼt notice her change of heart.”

Ling Yun was speechless, the main reason that made him want to terminate their contract immediately was that he knew Su Feiʼs change of heart, and that made him feel guilty towards Wei Feng.

Wei Feng looked and smiled at him. ”From the start, I was prepared to accept the consequences, so you donʼt need to feel sorry for me. Even though Feiʼer said that she still loves me, I know that only you are left in his heart, and her happiness is with you.”

”But-”

”I leave everything to you, Ling Yun. Anyway, my lawyer has already processed our divorce, and I will be leaving China today.” Wei Feng handed some documents and keys to Ling Yun, then he turned around. ”I beg you, please make Fei happy. And please convey my apologies to her, for I left her without saying goodbye.”

After saying that, Wei Feng immediately left him, and Ling Yun himself only watched him leave. He didnʼt mean to stop him, because he felt that Wei Feng was too cowardly, and he gave in to his feelings too quickly.
