Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 68: Sparring With Ling Ling

The next morning, after they finished breakfast, Ling Yun immediately asked his big sister to spar with him. He had never fought before, and he felt that he would not progress by cultivating and training alone, so he needed a training opponent to hone his combat skills, and his only choice was his big sister.

”Are you sure you want to spar with me, Lil Bro?” Ling Ling inquired while stretching her body.

Ling Yun shrugged. ”I have no other choice, right? I have to hone my fighting skills, but I canʼt possibly spar with our mom and aunts.”

”Be careful then.” Ling Ling immediately vanished in front of him, only to reappear behind him and punch him in the back.

*Bam*

”Fuck!” Ling Yun was sent flying forward by his attack, and he immediately stabilized himself.

However, before he could say anything to her. Ling Ling was already right in front of him as she smirked, she then used a bit of her Qi to flick his forehead.

*swoosh*

Ling Yun fell and rolled on the ground, he then used his qi and immediately jumped to his feet. ”Damn it! How did you move that fast!?”

Ling Ling sighed in response to his question. ”Donʼt you have your senses and movement techniques? In actual combat, you should always be alert and focused on your enemyʼs movements, as they wonʼt give you a chance to get ready.”

After saying that, Ling Ling again disappeared before him. This time, Ling Yun used his Heavenly Eyes to follow his big sisterʼs movements. Even so, Ling Lingʼs speed was still far above his, and she had already appeared behind him again.

She then grabbed his hand and threw him in the air. She then jumped towards Ling Yun, who was still in shock, as she lifted one leg and swung it towards him.

Ling Yunʼs body plunged to the ground with a loud bang, causing him to spit out a small amount of blood.

*BAMM*

”Cough... Cough...” Ling Yun then wiped the blood from his mouth, and he looked at his sister in annoyance. ʼDamn it! Lingʼer is fierce!ʼ

”I told you, you must always be alert, because other cultivators will use any means to kill us, including underhanded means.” Ling Ling said with a shake of her head, but she didnʼt blame him too much because she knew that her little brother had indeed only been a cultivator for six days, so he didnʼt have any fighting experience.

Ling Yun gritted his teeth in annoyance, he then mustered his Qi and attacked Ling Ling head-on. But she could easily dodge all his punches and kicks.

Ling Ling directly hit his chest, and it made Ling Yun push back a few steps. She then waved her numb hand and said. ”Your body is indeed strong, but it is too stiff, and your reactions are also very slow. Besides, you fought like an ordinary person without using any techniques, and you were too reckless to attack me. If I were your enemy, then you would be dead by now.

You are a cultivator, so you should fight like a real cultivator, and use your techniques against me.”

Ling Xi, who was floating in midair, could only shake her head at the sight of Ling Yun being beaten up by his big sister. ”You are too naive, Ling Yun. If you fight like that, then you were dead long ago. If you want to hone your fighting skills, then you must fight seriously and donʼt hesitate to use your techniques.”

”What she said is true, Lil Bro. Even though this is just sparring practice, you must fight for real. Otherwise, you will never be able to progress any further.” This time, Ling Ling did not immediately attack him again, and she was waiting for him to prepare himself.

Ling Yun nodded in understanding, he then took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. He then used Light Feather Steps to move quickly, and he tried to attack his big sister again.

However, Ling Ling parried his kick with ease, and he pushed his foot back. ”Attack me again!”

Ling Yun inwardly sighed, and for a few minutes, he kept trying to attack his big sister. He continued to use Heavenly Eyes and all his movement techniques, but the result was always the same, Ling Ling was able to parry all his attacks with ease.

Ling Yun, who was getting more and more annoyed by that, then jumped away from his big sister and directly used his Vacuum Palm on her.

”Oh?” Ling Ling was surprised when her body was pulled closer to him, but she didnʼt try to fight back, because she wanted to know his next move. ”Hmm?”

As Ling Lingʼs body drew near to him, Ling Yun was already preparing to use his Taichi Fist. He immediately attacked Ling Ling soft but fast, and he also used the Light Feather Steps at the same time.

Ling Ling was slightly surprised by that, she then mustered his Qi and continued to fend off his attacks. ʼHmm? Why do I feel that his attacks are very similar to Sister Bingʼs technique?ʼ

For several minutes, they continued to exchange blows, or rather, Ling Yun attacked and Ling Ling parried.

”You will never be able to land your attacks on me at this speed, Lil Bro.” Ling Ling said with a faint smile.

Ling Yun gritted his teeth hard and immediately jumped into the air, he then stretched his arms forward. ”Be careful, Lingʼer. This is my first time using this technique.”

”Come on!” Ling Ling said with a nod as she enveloped her body with her Qi, and several ice shields appeared around her.

Seeing that, Ling Xi waved her hand, and a transparent pink Qi dome surrounded them.

A massive golden palm slid swiftly toward Ling Ling. Soon, a huge explosion rang out, even the ground around them shook quite strongly, and dust scattered around them.

Ling Yun then landed on the ground, and he was panting heavily. ”Ha... That attack consumed a lot of my qi. Ha...”

He then bought Small Qi Restoration Liquid from his system shop and drank it straight away, as he stared at Ling Ling, who wasnʼt hurt at all.

Ling Ling waved his hand to brush off the remaining dust, and she then said to him. ”Your technique is amazing, but you canʼt use it in actual combat, at least not for now. Although the attack power is very strong and the area is wide, the execution time is too slow, and your enemies wonʼt wait for you for it.”

”Sigh, I know that.” Ling Yun replied with a nod.

Ling Ling quickly moved to his side and hugged his arm. ”You donʼt need to be disappointed; after all, you havenʼt been a cultivator for too long, and you just need to keep honing your fighting skills.”

Ling Yun nodded in agreement. ”En, I need to keep honing my fighting skills, and I also have to keep improving my technique mastery.”

”Letʼs take a shower first.” Ling Ling said as he led his little brother inside.

Ling Xi smiled at Ling Yun. ”I hope you can continue to maintain your mindset, Ling Yun. If you are ready, then I will take you to the real world of cultivation.”
