Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

But Jia Yan also hadn’t planned to go overboard and wreck the game’s balance or anything.

”Hurry up, according to the game rules, the first batch of game supplies will be delivered soon. Adisa, since we’re playing the game, use half of the stuff in this supply to boost the in‑game players’ resources, follow the game rules, don’t waste it. The other half goes to me, haha, this first shipment’s Energy really isn’t low.”

In normal Space, Jia Yan watched as a supply ship flying from far away quickly approached this patch of Starry Sky; he couldn’t help feeling a bit impressed by the design of this little game.

The people who designed this game are downright Geniuses, their commercial brains are ridiculously sharp.

”Understood, Master, I’ll definitely play this game well.”

”Yeah, you’re obviously the one playing this game. Just use your own computation to play. Even if that might count as a bit of cheating, they can’t say much about it. After all, we appeared directly in this Starry Sky, we didn’t go in through the proper entrance. There are some cheating elements, but they can’t do anything about us.”

Jia Yan smiled faintly.

The two of them had come straight out of Subspace, unlike other players who had to pass layer upon layer of checks before finally meeting the requirements to join the game. Jia Yan and Adisa were different: they came directly from Subspace, and the one mainly playing the game wasn’t using a normal biological brain like other players, but Adisa, this Smart Brain. That basically is cheating.

But Jia Yan himself refused to admit it, and no one dared say anything anyway.

What he needed was for Adisa to keep conquering other player Civilizations, then take the Civilization’s resource Power for himself.

Using all the game Energy for mutation that way would be about enough.

Of course, for the game operators, this kind of siphoning Energy and minerals was nothing short of a catastrophic disaster.

But there was nothing they could do. The one coming to seize their resources was a Middle-Stage Galactic Lifeform. No matter how unwilling they were, they could only swallow their broken teeth along with the blood.

Still, at this point, Jia Yan didn’t know whether the operators had any Galaxy Level Forces backing them from behind, so from his perspective, he had to advance carefully step by step. Otherwise, if he provoked another Galaxy Level being, or even a Territory Master, then he’d really be in trouble.

After several catapult jumps, the Adisa had burned through a lot of Energy. It needed at least a small half of Jia Yan’s initial Mutating Power to replenish it; otherwise, if another incident occurred, its catapulting speed would slow down and its jumps wouldn’t reach far.

”Ding, hello player. You may now choose to establish your own Power. What would you like to name your Power?”

”Earth Civilization.”

He didn’t even need to signal; Adisa handled these small matters perfectly on its own.

Of course, it might not be entirely in line with Jia Yan’s wishes, but there was no helping that. Right now Jia Yan had to devote himself wholly to enduring the discomfort of mutation and its distortions; having Adisa handle minor affairs was the normal way to do things.

Anyway, this game was just something to make temporary use of. Jia Yan couldn’t be bothered with side issues.

”Creation successful. Please set Initial Attributes.”

The in‑game settings were still very simple. After all, this game could be played for decades, so there wasn’t much to configure at the start, because the initial values were very low.

Adisa just casually set them.

Then the game rapidly controlled nearby interstellar matter, guiding minerals to fly over.

Some of these minerals were quite mysterious; they could assemble objects on their own.

In less than half an hour, a crude, extremely simple starship made of interstellar matter was floating in the Starry Sky.

Players didn’t use their True Body to play the game. They chose to use technological devices to connect and control the in‑game starship, and from there develop and grow stronger. Otherwise, once war broke out, if they used their True Body, they might die.

This time, Jia Yan also didn’t break that little rule. Besides, even if he wanted to play with his True Body, he’d have to make sure no one could tell. His body, just one, was already far larger than that several‑hundred‑meter‑long ship. Once a Galactic Grade Existence appeared, a single Brainwave Power could wipe out countless ships like that; what kind of game would that be.

”Now beginning to generate the first batch of subjects. These subjects may be Smart Brain auto‑generated NPCs within the game, or external temporary players joining and being generated. Accepting external players into your Power will bring both advantages and disadvantages, so you should weigh it carefully yourself.”

The game’s Smart Brain was very similar to Adisa, though it apparently didn’t possess emotions to the same degree as Adisa.

Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s inferior to Adisa; it’s just constrained by its programming. In fact, this sort of Smart Brain designed specifically for games and user‑friendly interaction should be far stronger than Adisa. After all, this is already extremely close to the Center of the Milky Way; countless external technologies and the Milky Way Central’s tech leak out here to some extent, so Smart Brain technology should be extremely advanced.

And naturally, this game didn’t have only one main player; it could actually accommodate lots of other ordinary real players.

Those ordinary players might be people who installed the game on the network, perhaps far, far away. They couldn’t serve as the main head of a Power. Instead, they needed to found a new Power and then apply to join. In the game, they could not only experience the fun, but also use their in‑game skills to earn decent Money.
