Chapter 901: Chapter 39 Battle the Tentacle Monster! [Subscribe Request]_3

”The fight begins!”

While Jia Yan was still thinking about how to deal with this opponent, the Mid-Starry Sky Period referee had once again announced the start of the match!

”Die!”

Player Haroha certainly didn’t want Jia Yan to attack first. In his view, Jia Yan was also a very difficult opponent, so he was treating this seriously and wouldn’t hesitate to strike first!

Moreover, in his opinion, Jia Yan had fought four consecutive battles and was definitely weak now. If he couldn’t seize the opportunity to attack before Jia Yan had recovered his strength, he would be a fool!

Little did he know, though Jia Yan’s Evolutionary Creature might not be very strong, his stamina was absolutely astonishing.

Even after fighting four Star Space Level opponents, not to mention that he was concealing his real strength, even if he hadn’t, fighting opponents near his power would still likely leave him with a lot of retained strength.

Jia Yan watched the opponent’s body wriggling. Despite the seemingly complicated movements, he swam toward him at a very fast speed, and Jia Yan made a slight decision at the bottom of his heart.

He wanted to have an encounter with this strong one, then see what kind of battle to engage in next.

Jia Yan’s speed also began to show!

The opponent’s speed, in Jia Yan’s view, wasn’t too fast, but at this moment, he didn’t use a very high speed to break through either.

”Both sides are approaching tentatively, just look, this is definitely the best fight today. Will the mighty Player Haroha win, or will the unbeatable Jia Yan snatch the final victory?!”

The host provided timely commentary, showing his excitement, as this opening match was so full of ups and downs, making it a great start. He only feared that the following games wouldn’t be as exciting as this one, which would really disappoint the audience.

Boom! Boom!!

As Jia Yan approached that Early Stars peak existence, he immediately stretched out his forelimb, shooting out his first probing attack at the opponent like a bolt of lightning.

And this Tentacle Monster, within its enormous eyes, a glint of sharpness emerged.

One of its tentacles lashed out like a whip, striking directly at the forelimb Jia Yan had extended!

However, Jia Yan’s forelimb, being his primary means of attack, how could it be easily lashed away by a single tentacle among Haroha’s thousands?

The tentacle touched it only to be knocked aside.

At that moment, Jia Yan reached out another forelimb.

The opponent probably didn’t expect Jia Yan’s forelimb to possess such strength. Despite being knocked aside, the other tentacles in the back continued to stretch forward.

Jia Yan noticed that the surface of this monster’s tentacles had a sticky liquid, and when his forelimb was touched by the surface of the tentacle, some of the slimy fluid stuck on it, making Jia Yan feel extremely disgusted.

”No wonder it’s a Tentacle Monster, if it were not me but a cute girl fighting...”

”Ahem! I got distracted, shouldn’t have!” Jia Yan quickly refocused, concentrating on the enemy.

Everywhere, countless tentacles from the Tentacle Monster reached out. Jia Yan’s forelimb, grabbed by them, wasn’t easy to handle. His forelimb was extremely sharp, especially the tip, which could be said to be the sharpest part among his arsenal of attack weapons.

So when the tentacles ensnared Jia Yan’s limb, he swung his forelimb fiercely, cutting off four or five tentacles directly!

”Ah! We see that Player Haroha’s tentacles have been cut off by Player Jia Yan. Normally, this would be judged as Player Haroha’s loss in any match, since our gathering event is known for being bloodless. But Player Haroha’s situation is special. Now let’s see what the referee decides!”

All eyes turned to the referee.

The referee, watching the ongoing entanglement in the arena where Jia Yan kept slicing, and the Tentacle Monster tried either to block or make a sneaky attack on Jia Yan’s main body, declared,

”No problem! The referee has decided to continue the match according to the tournament’s regulations. It seems that Lord Haroha’s body is truly extraordinary. Even after so many tentacles have been cut, he shows no signs of weakness. Now let’s see who’ll be the first to strike their opponent’s main body!”

Before the match started, no one thought the situation would turn out this way.

Jia Yan continuously poked at numerous tentacles with his forelimbs, while Haroha used his longer tentacles to attack Jia Yan’s main body.

Yet Jia Yan also displayed a similar characteristic—he had not only a pair of forelimbs but also a pair of middle and hind limbs.

He flew about ten meters into the air. Besides his forelimbs, the other four limbs swung continuously, either blocking the incoming tentacles or slicing them off with their sharp tips.

Tentacles smeared with the strange fluid continuously fell to the ground and were still moving around.

”Truly disgusting!” Jia Yan looked at the cut tentacles, feeling revulsion he hadn’t felt in a long time.

However, he didn’t feel too hesitant at that moment, but rather became even more courageous.

Thud, thud, thud, thud! ——————

Tentacles kept falling to the ground.

”Incredible, such an incredible match. Everyone, although Player Haroha has a numerical advantage with his tentacles, Player Jia Yan possesses the lethal characteristic. His combat power is certainly extraordinary.”

The host emphatically praised Jia Yan in front of all the audience, clearly knowing how to hype the mood. Since Jia Yan was quite controversial here, instantly, countless spectators engaged in heated discussions about him.
