Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1586 Three Years (5)

Chuckling to himself as he thought about Feng Chen and how he had managed to even surpass himself in some respects, Xuan Hao could not help feeling that the sect would be in good hands in the future under his leadership. Especially so when he grew up and reached the Dao Seed Realm, becoming one of the strongest in the sect.

Although he was confident in Feng Chenʼs talent, being able to help him reach the Intermediate Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm and in turn also overcome the Immortal Soul Tribulation to reach the Dao Seed Realm in a single step. Reaching the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm and in turn being able to break through to the Profound Immortal Realm in a single step wasnʼt something he was that confident in him being able to accomplish. Especially in the short term.

After all, even for him, with the help of the system assisting him in his cultivation, it had been a difficult endeavor to reach the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm and wasnʼt something he expected anyone other than himself to be capable of accomplishing in the sect.

Even his disciples, like Chu Yang who had also managed to reach the Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm following the singular path like Feng Chen had done, did not have a guaranteed chance of breaking through to the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm in the future.

The most Xuan Hao hoped for was that his disciple would be able to breakthrough to the Intermediate Stage of the Dao Domian Lord Realm. After which he would personally see how viable it was for his disciple to try and strive for the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm. After all, it was far more difficult to reach the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm compared to the Intermediate Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm… And spending too long at the Dao Domain Lord Realm could potentially result in oneʼs lifespan running out before breaking through.

The main reason for this being that the lifespan of someone in the Dao Domain Lord Realm wasnʼt any different from someone in the Domain Lord Realm, being locked at around ten thousand years.

Of course, this was still a long time. Especially so for his disciple and Feng Chen who were both still below a thousand years old.

Even so, time would fly by fast and progressing through the Dao Domain Lord Realm was several times more difficult compared to the Domain Lord Realm, as one just required a surface level comprehension of the Dao, while the other was in-depth comprehension of the Dao.

Although he himself could be considered to have gone through the Initial and Intermediate stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm with relative ease. Reaching the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm in only a few short years, he also understood that this was mostly due to the opportunities he had obtained and help from the system.

Without any external help aiding his comprehension, it was unlikely that he would have gone much further than breaking through to the Intermediate Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, something he became fully aware of now that he had begun the process of painstakingly comprehending the Dao of Ice… And even then, he had managed to obtain significant assistance in his comprehension of the Dao of Ice yet had not managed to reach the Perfection Realm after three years of dedicated comprehension.

Shaking his head as he thought about this while stepping back into the small garden that had been established in front of his home at the Seventh Star Peak during the past three years, Xuan Hao focused his attention on the small figure darting around among the plants.

”Huh!? Master! You are back! Did someone run into a problem again?” Hearing the footsteps that he had made no effort to conceal, the small figure popped her head out of a small bush before exclaiming in surprise while almost tripping and falling on the ground while making her way out of the small bush.

”Mui… It looks like you have been slacking off for the past few months…”

”Eeep!? M-Master, I-I can explain! You see… I was busy building something with Song Jia and didnʼt really have much time for cultivating by myself and-”

”Haaa… That thing, you have been building for the past three years, when will it be done? And are you sure this isnʼt just an excuse for you and Song Jia to slack off in your cultivation? Even Elder Song has started to complain about how much time the two of you spend on that thing instead of cultivating…”

”Ehehe…”

Rolling his eyes as he saw the guilty expression on his discipleʼs face, Xuan Hao could not help observing Mui more closely.

Over the past three years, her cultivation had only increased by a single minor realm, something that was rather shocking given how fast she had progressed in the past.

However, the reason for this was that she spent most of her time working on something together with Song Jia… And although he had reminded her to set aside more time for cultivation, it was clear that she didnʼt take his suggestion to heart.

On the other hand, something surprising that had taken place when he looked over her status was the fact that her comprehension seemed to have decreased even further than before… Something that he had a feeling might be related to the thing that she and Song Jia had been working on for the past three years…
