Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1258  Revisiting the Barrier Between the Star Shattering Sect and the Frozen Wasteland (1)

Instructing Su Wuhan to continue his attack on the Star Shattering Sect to avoid drawing the attention of the stronger demonic cultivators, Xuan Hao made sure that he wouldnʼt end up harming any disciples or elders of the sect and would only be fighting with the winged lion demon beast every now and then.

In case some of the disciples or elders of the sect were in a dangerous situation, he also made sure that he would be there to secretly lend them a hand against the demonic cultivators. Ensuring that the disciples and elders would be able to train and grow in their battles against the demonic cultivators without too much risk.

Although this was only one of the two places where the Star Shattering Sect was under attack by demonic cultivators, the other border wasnʼt attacked by any demonic cultivator above the First Demonic Transformation Realm. Meaning that the Domain Lord Realm elders didnʼt even have to do anything, as the Nascent Soul Realm elders of the sect took care of them.

The main reason for this difference in strength of the demonic cultivators when compared to the border Xuan Hao currently found himself on, was the fact that the Onyx Empire had a far harder time compared to most other empires when facing the demonic cultivator, both because they had lost a large number of their powerful cultivators to the rabbit demon beast and that the number of powerful demonic cultivators trying to enter their empire was far higher than any of the other empires close to them.

In the end, it could be said that the Onyx Empire was just unlucky to find itself being the focus of the demonic cultivators in the region without being able to do anything about it other than fight back, while waiting for the nearby Blue Sea Empire to send out their experts to suppress the demonic cultivators.

Thinking about it, Xuan Hao felt that the Onyx Empire was indeed rather unlucky.

After all, he had also contributed to the bad situation that the Onyx Empire found itself in, with the demonic cultivators that would normally have entered the Sky Empire being funneled towards the Onyx Empire due to the barrier he had created to prevent weaker demonic cultivators from entering the Star Shattering Sectʼs territory.

At least, it didnʼt seem like the Onyx Empire had found out about the barrier he had created in the Frozen Wasteland, or else he had a feeling that one of their ancestors would rush over to destroy to relieve some of the pressure that their empire was under.

As for offending the Star Shattering Sect in the process of doing something like that? Xuan Hao highly doubted that they would care considering that the barrier had already caused them to lose over a dozen smaller kingdoms bordering the Frozen Wasteland that might have survived if they had a little more time to respond.

Hm… Just to be on the safe side, I should check up on the barrier and strengthen it now that my strength has increased, and my comprehension of the Dao of Formations broke through to the Small Success Realm.

Thinking this to himself as he turned to look in the direction of the Frozen Wasteland where the end of the barrier, he had created back then entered his field of view, Xuan Hao gave the winged lion demon beast a few orders to ensure that it didnʼt end up killing their sectʼs new demonic cultivator puppet before leaving.

Whoosh-!

Taking only a short moment to arrive with his current strength, as the barrier he had created back then appeared in front of him in all its glory.

Although now that his strength had increased along with his comprehension of the Dao of Formations, it seemed rather clumsy and weak.

As long as someone had the time to spare, they would essentially be able to slowly weaken the formation itself by forcing it to defend against external attacks. The main issue being that the formation that made up the barrier didnʼt have any true core and was solely made up from his own power.

If someone at the True Demon Realm really did appear and try to destroy this makeshift barrier of his, he had a feeling that it wouldnʼt take that much effort to destroy, let alone if a demonic cultivator at the Demon Lord Realm appeared.

Of course, he already knew this when he had created the barrier between the Frozen Wasteland and the Star Shattering Sect.

Not to mention, the barrier couldnʼt really be considered a formation, as it was just a few swords thrown out with his power imbued into them. Creating a blizzard that was powerful enough to kill anyone below the True Demon Realm and had the ability to defend itself in case of external attacks.

At the end of the day, he hadnʼt intended for it to last more than a few years before he planned to revisit it and think of another solution to the demonic cultivator problem… And that time seemed to be now, as he discovered almost immediately after arriving at the barrier, that it was already on the brink of collapse from having to deal with an increased number of demonic cultivators trying to force their way through it.

More importantly than that, he could also sense that there were a few demonic cultivators in the True Demon Realm slowly working away at weakening the swords that made up the barrier itself.

Though none of them dared to approach the swords in question, their continued effort did have result, as it would at most take them another half year to fully break the barrier and allow the demonic cultivators to start flooding into the territory of the Star Shattering Sect.

Even if Xuan Hao would ultimately be alerted by the barrier breaking and he was more than strong enough to deal with these few True Demon Realm demonic cultivators, it would still end up causing quite a bit of damage to the Star Shattering Sect…
