Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 738 Ancestor Of The Feather Kingdom

Whoosh~!

Passing through the thin black veil that seemed to cover the mouth of the long dead mountain sized creature, Xuan Hao spread out both his divine sense and domain to their limit to be ready for a fight at any moment.

Even if the mountain sized creature had already been dead for thousands upon thousands of years at this point in time, the Dao of Corruption could give birth to all kinds of strange lifeforms when the presence of the dao was strong enough in a certain area.

Although Xuan Hao had only witnessed this once during his time in the enlightenment space, Xuan Hao still remembered those terrifying creatures wandering the endless corrupted land inside the enlightenment space for the Dao of Corruption!

Roar-!

Not long after he had passed through the black veil that covered the mouth of the long dead mountain sized creature, a roar echoed out from deeper inside the body. Confirming the fact that the presence of the Dao of Corruption was strong enough for it to start forming the strange and horrifying creatures he had seen back during his time in the enlightenment space…

”Looks like I will have to be careful when making my way deeper inside- Hm? Why is there a trail of body parts going in the same direction as that Core Formation Realm cultivator…?”

Narrowing both his eyes after hearing the roar coming from deeper inside the body of the dead creature, Xuan Hao could not help freezing for a few seconds after discovering a trail made up of all sorts of different body parts belonging to creatures of different races and the aura of the Core Formation Realm Expert both moving inside towards the core of the mountain sized dead body.

Given how old the body parts were, it was a bit weird for them to still be intact after such a long period of time. However after a quick scan with his divine sense, Xuan Hao discovered that most of the body parts belonged to cultivators who had at most reached the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm, while the weakest had not even reached the Core Formation Realm!

From this alone, it was obvious that the body parts all over the place and the trail leading further inside the body of the mountain sized creature were new. Maybe they even belonged to cultivators in a similar situation as the Core Formation Realm cultivator that had ended up inside the mountain sized dead body!

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao could not help thinking about the roar he had heard just a few seconds ago. Although he could not tell the strength of the creature just from the roar alone, it was obvious that it had something to do with the body parts all over the ground. Perhaps it was even responsible for making the trail of body parts to lure in people like the Core Formation Realm Expert who had moved along the trail to go further inside the body towards the origin of the roar…

Maybe the Core Formation Realm Expert already reached the core of the dead body and is about to get eaten by the creature formed by the Dao of Corruption inside!

Swish-!

Not wasting any time as he began following the trail of body parts further inside after this though appeared, Xuan Hao really did not want to see the Core Formation realm Expert who had entered this place ahead of him to die.

The reason for this was not one out of simple good will, but was more due to the fact that he was really interested in finding out how the Core Formation Realm Expert had entered the Ancient Sect Ruins in the first place… If he was lucky, he might be able to get some idea about how to leave and get out of the ancient sect ruins alive!

After all, even if he had escaped from the terrifying creature that had suddenly appeared together with the shadows and his situation did not look dangerous on the surface, Xuan Hao understood very well that it was only a matter of time before the terrifying creature and the shadows managed to find a way to enter the place he was currently hiding inside of!

…

BOOOOM-!

At the same time Xuan Hao was stuck inside the ancient sect ruins and one of his disciples was still struggling to find his way back outside the mysterious realm he had found himself inside of, a massive battle was taking place between the soldiers of the Feather kingdom and the Star Shattering Sect.

The Feather Kingdom was one of the kingdoms that had bordered the Heavenly Sky Kingdom in the past and could only be said to be slightly stronger when compared to the Heavenly Sky Kingdom during its prime.

After the Star Shattering Sect started rapidly expanding over the past few weeks, the Feather Kingdom was inevitably one of the first to meet with the Star Shattering Sect as it tried expanding the territory under its control.

Normally, this would not have been a problem, as a kingdom at the size of the Feather Kingdom would have no way to resist against a terrifying sect like the Star Shattering Sect that had multiple experts in the Domain Lord Realm… But something that completely changed the situation happened- The ancestor of the Feather Kingdom broke through to the Domain Lord Realm!

It didnʼt matter whether it was the Star Shattering Sect or the surrounding kingdoms that were watching this battle from the side. Everyone had been caught completely off guard by the ancestor of the Feather Kingdom breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm.

However, this only lasted for a short moment, as Shu Yao ended up taking action to supress the other party.

Although both of them had reached the First Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, Shu Yao had far more experience and quickly managed to gain the upper hand in the battle… But the destruction brought along by a battle between two Domain Lords was simply not something that the people living at the border region at the Sky Empire had witnessed before!

Although the battle only lasted for a few minutes before Shu Yao managed to supress the ancestor of the Feather Kingdom, the destruction caused by the short battle had ended up destroying close to 10 percent of the Feather Kingdom and killed an uncountable number of people who had no way to resist the remnant power of two Domain Lord Realm Experts clashing with each other!

…

”ARGH! I FINNALY REACHED THE DOMAIN LORD REALM, YET IʼM ABOUT TO DIE LIKE THIS!?”

In the air above a large desolate plain, the ancestor of the Feather Kingdom screamed loudly before looking towards the figure floating in the air not too far away from him filled with killing intent.

”You chose this yourself! Donʼt forget that we gave your Feather Kingdom the option to surrender, but you decided to start massacring the disciples of my Star Shattering Sect the moment you had broken through to the Domain Lord Realm!”

Frowning as both her eyes narrowed with killing intent, Shu Yao did not feel the slightest bit of pity towards the ancestor of the Feather Kingdom in front of her.

Even before they had attacked the Feather Kingdom, Elder Song had already proposed several different ways to solve the matter without having to go to war. From the Feather Kingdom becoming a subordinate power to them getting a few years to leave and take what they wanted with them to start a new kingdom somewhere else, Elder Song had tried all sorts of different options before it was decided that they would go to war with the Feather Kingdom for their territory.

At first, Shu Yao who was put in charge of the offensive against the Feather Kingdom had been confused as to why the Feather Kingdom had refused to surrender time and again no matter what… But when she realized that the ancestor of the Feather Sky Kingdom had actually reached the Domain Lord Realm, she understood why.

Even if he had just recently broken through to the Domain Lord Realm, he felt he was strong enough to resist the Star Shattering Sectʼs current expansion into his kingdomʼs territory and was even arrogant enough to start massacring the disciples of the Star Shattering Sect the moment he appeared.

Thinking that the Star Shattering Sect would not want to offend someone in the Domain Lord Realm over him killing a few disciples… Of course, he did not take into account the fact that Shu Yao would suddenly appear and almost instantly supress him. Even worse, her cultivation base was actually the same as his own!

”DAMN YOU-”

FWOOSH-!

Not wanting to drag things out with the already exhausted ancestor of the Feather Kingdom, Shu Yao directly created a massive fire lotus that quickly flew over and engulfed the ancestor of the Feather Kingdom before he had any time to react!

”AHHHHhhh-!”

Not able to resist the flames of the lotus fire with his domain for more than a few seconds, the ancestor of the Feather Kingdoms body and soul were directly reduced to ash!

The ancestor of the Feather Kingdom, A First stage Domain Lord Realm Expert, had died at the hands of Shu Yao... Thus marking the end of the war with the Feather Kingdom and signalling the true beginning of the Star Shattering Sects expansion to the surrounding kingdoms and sects!
