Chapter 707 Fight For The Windbloom Flower

As the Nascent Soul Realm Experts had started fighting with each other, the Core Formation Realm Experts who had been left alone were all filled with happiness as they rushed towards the mountain with the Windbloom Flower on top of it.

If they had originally just showed up for the chance to fish in troubled waters and try to get any benefits they could from the people who would inevitably end up dying during the struggle for the Windbloom Flower. Now, they saw a real chance to get their hands on the Windbloom flower themselves.

However, among the Core Formation Realm Experts that were happily rushing towards the mountain with the Windbloom Flower on top of it, there were still a few who were not so happy about what was happening-

”Damn it! Those three! Do they want to fight it out with our Wind Sword Family after this is finished!? Do they think they will be able to resist the ancestor without working together!?”

The group of Core Formation Realm Experts belonging to the Wind Sword Family were obviously the ones who were the most furious upon seeing their ancestor getting teamed up on by three different Nascent Soul Realm Experts.

Originally, they had already thought of the Windbloom Flower as their own... But now, this was no longer the case!

At the moment, the few Core Formation Realm Experts from the Wind Sword Family all started rushing towards the mountain with the Windbloom Flower on top of it with their fastest speed possible. The only thing on their mind was to get the Windbloom Flower and hand it over to their ancestor so he could keep it safe.

After all, even if their ancestor was currently getting teamed up on by a group of different Nascent Soul Realm Experts every time he tried advancing towards the mountain with the flower on top of it, the ancestor was still someone in Third Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm.

With the strength of the rest of the people present, there was no way for them to kill, let alone prevent him from escaping after he got his hand on the Windbloom Flower and got the ability to resist the terrifying wind!

The only reason why they could stop him from moving forward at the moment, was due to the terrifying wind only having weakened in an almost straight line towards the mountain with the Windbloom Flower on top of it, which allowed them to form a barrier of people to prevent the ancestor in the Third Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm from passing through them and reaching the Windbloom Flower... And because of this, all the Nascent Soul Realms ended up not moving towards the location of the flower.

...

”Looks like none of the Nascent Soul Realm Experts fighting will be the first to get their hands on the Windbloom Flower...” Watching from the side as the first Core Formation Realm Expert reached the mountain and began making his way up towards the flower, Xuan Hao could not help narrowing his eyes.

No matter how he looked at it, the winds only weakening in an almost straight line towards the mountain with the flower on top of it, the Nascent Soul Realm Experts giving the Core Formation Realm Experts a chance to get their hands on the flower... All of it felt like it was planned from the start!

Now... The only question left, was why...

After all, given that the expert who should have set this entire thing up was most likely someone who had surpassed the Domain Lord Realm and reached the Soul Ascension Realm, Xuan Hao could really not understand why such a person would go so far to set this entire thing up.

If that person just wanted a Core Formation Realm Expert to be the one to get his or her hands on the Windbloom Flower, it would be far easier to just secretly help them obtain it without attracting so many people...

”I really canʼt understand what that person would want from this...”

Shaking his head as he muttered this to himself, Xuan Hao turned his attention back towards the Core Formation Realm Experts who were slowly starting to arrive at the base of the mountain before charging towards the peak with all their strength.

Boom-boom-boom!

Not too surprisingly, the Core Formation Realm Experts also began fighting with increased energy the closer they got to the peak. The clear difference between them fighting and the Nascent Soul Realm Experts, was the fact that the Core Formation Realm Experts actually managed to get closer and closer to the Windbloom Flower. Although... A bit slower than if they didnʼt fight each other along the way.

Whoosh~!

”Haha! I got it!”

Not even a few minutes later after the Core Formation Realm Experts reached the mountain, a Peak Core Formation Realm Expert that had managed to sneak his way through the people fighting managed to reach the peak before anyone and pick up the Windbloom Flower before using all his strength to rush down the mountain towards the deeper regions of the Thousand Wind Mountains.

”Hm? AH! Someone is already at the peak!”

Discovering the Peak Core Formation Realm Expert, the moment he took the flower and was about to escape, the close to one hundred Core Formation Realm Experts present on the mountain all stopped fighting as they turned their attention towards him.

”He got the flower! Everyone, stop him!”

”If he makes it to the deeper regions where the wind is still in full power... We canʼt let him get away!”

”Letʼs kill him!”

”””KILL!”””

Feeling the killing intent of the close to one hundred Core Formation Realm Experts lock on to him, the Peak Core Formation Realm Expert that managed to get his hands on the Windbloom Flower could not help shivering as he directly used a forbidden technique that burned his lifespan to increase his speed to make it down the mountain and escape into the deeper regions of the Thousand Wind Mountains.

As long as he could make it to the deeper regions filled with all sorts of spiritual herbs, he would not care about losing a few dozen years of his lifespan. Especially considering he might get a chance to break through the Nascent Soul Realm and increase his lifespan even further.

At that point in time, sacrificing a few dozen years was nothing!

Swish~

Ptsh-!

However, before the Peak Core Formation Realm Expert had a chance to move more than a few dozen meters down the mountain, a large axe swung down and decapitated him. Killing him on the spot before he even had a chance to react.

”Hehe, thanks for delivering me the flower.” Chuckling to himself as he picked up the flower from the now dead Core Formation Realm Expert, a bulky man with a massive axe standing more than two meters tall slowly looked at the surrounding Core Formation Realm Experts that were about to attack him with a disdainful expression on his face.

”He got the flower! Letʼs kill him!”

”There is no way for him to escape, we already-

FWOOSH-!

Before any of the surrounding Core Formation Realm Experts had the chance to react, the aura around the bulky man with the axe exploded as they were all violently thrown back while throwing up blood.

”T-this-!? N-Nascent Soul Realm... A Nascent Soul Realm Expert hid among us?!”

Being the first to understand what was happening, one of the Core Formation Realm Experts standing a little farther away that had not gotten injured, exclaimed loudly with a fearful expression on his face.

It had to be known that the only reason why he and the rest of the Core Formation Realm Experts were daring enough to try getting their hands on the Windbloom Flower was due to the Nascent Soul Realm Experts all fighting with each other and not having time to interfere with what they were doing.

Now that a Nascent Soul Realm Expert showed up and took the Windbloom Flower, all of the Core Formation Realm Experts understood that they would no longer have a chance to get their hands on it!

...

”Hm!? A Nascent Soul Realm Expert actually hid among the Core Formation Realm Expert... And I couldnʼt sense him...”

Showing a surprised expression on his face as he saw the bulky man with the axe erupting with a powerful aura belonging to the Second Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm, Xuan Hao soon used his divine sense to scan the man from head to toe. Wanting to find out how he had been able to hide from his divine sense.

”Hm? Looks like there should be some sort of will or treasure attached to his body that prevents my divine sense from properly determining his strength...”

Not taking long to get an idea on what might be behind him not being able to see through the other partyʼs strength, Xuan Hao could not help feeling curious about the manʼs identity. Perhaps he might even be related to the mysterious expert that was hiding behind the scenes...!
