Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 372 - Elder Song Begins Stabilizing The Territory Of The Flying Sword Sect

With the neighbouring kingdoms not daring to invade in an attempt to take control of the former Heavenly Sky Kingdomʼs territory, the Flying Sword Sect was left completely alone.

Allowing Elder Song to put forth his plans of stabilizing the territory of the Flying Sword Sect without anyone coming to interfere…

Like this, over the next few months, Elder Song freely mobilized the elders of the Flying Sword Sect with the help of the Sect Master, Feng Chen.

Strengthening the Flying Sword Sects control over the sects and other powers inside their territory, by first of all establishing several new small sized branches each with an elder in control all around the territory to keep an eye on the different powers that existed under them.

After the branches had begun taking shape, Elder Song then proceeded to use the influence of the Flying Sword Sect to calm down the chaotic situation through the newly established branches.

Slowly but surely, the control of what had formerly been the northern part of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom and was part of the Flying Sword Sect in name only, began truly becoming a part of the Flying Sword Sect.

At the same time, the Spring Flower Sect was also beginning to exert their influence across eastern part of the now gone Heavenly Sky Kingdom.

The Seven Fates Sect, not one to fall behind, had also begun increasing their influence over their territory and due to the fact that they had already begun this before the fall of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom. Even began spreading inwards towards what had once been the central region of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom in the past.

Like this, the former territory of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom was quickly being absorbed by the three sects.

…

”The Flying Sword Sect…? Are you sure that someone in the Domain Lord Realm appeared in such a place?”

At the same time, in a large city located far away from the Flying Sword Sect, a man looked over towards an old man standing in front of him, a hint of curiosity briefly passing through his indifferent eyes.

”Yes, my lord, I recently received the news that one of our vassal kingdoms had been destroyed by another vassal kingdom and sent someone over to investigate if it had anything to do with the recent resurgence of the church of the plague god but found no leads to believers of the plague god at the battlefield.

According to the one I sent, news about one of the sects formerly under the vassal kingdom that ended up being destroyed had someone who broke through and reached the Domain Lord Realm. After fully investigating the sect in question, he confirmed that someone had indeed reached the Domain Lord Realm in that sect… But…”

Reaching the end of his explanation, the voice of the old man suddenly came to a stop as he hesitated on whether to continue or not.

”But…?” Raising an eyebrow upon suddenly seeing the hesitation on the old manʼs face, the man grew a bit more curious as he signalled for him to continue his explanation.

”But he never responded again after sending that message… I think that something might have happened to the investigator, what if the Domain Lord from the Flying Sword Sect-”

”Stop! You should know what it would mean for us to offend a Domain Lord just based on something like this! Moreover, what would we do if that Domain Lord leaves and decides to join the Onyx Empire!? Wouldnʼt we just be handing them a brand-new Domain Lord that is more than eager to fight us!? Donʼt forget how General Bi Sheng ended up joining the Onyx Empire!” Forcefully stopping the old man before he could say anything more, the man narrowed his eyes as he looked over the old man.

”The matter of General Bi Shengʼs disciple is already in the past! What happened back then was a mistake and we wonʼt repeat such a thing-”𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

”Quiet! You can leave for now and report the news about the appearance of a new Domain Lord accordingly, I will take care of the matter regarding the disappearance of the investigator and find out how itʼs related to the Domain Lord from the Flying Sword Sect!” Not wanting to continue listening to the old man any further, the indifferent looking man directly threw the old man out of the room before descending to handle the matter by himself.

Bang!

Watching as the door the room snapped shut just as he was out of the room, the old man could not help looking towards the room with a resentful expression on his face before taking his leave.

”Just you wait! Damned brat…” Muttering these words while leaving the old man looked back one last time before disappearing around a nearby corner.

…

”Hah, they are getting more and more impatient… Even if they want me screw up, can they at least not make it less obvious?”

Back inside the room, the indifferent looking man let out a sigh as he motioned towards the corner of the room as a nearby shadow soon began moving before slowly martializing into the shape of a shadowy person.

”Your highness, do you want me to deal with that old man?”

”No need, he is merely a pawn of my dear brother… I know he has been wanting to take over my position as the crown prince now that father is looking for someone to take over before entering the ancestral grounds to cultivate with the ancestor.

However, he has been getting more and more impatient for me to make a mistake over the past few years…”

Waving his hand dismissively as he said this, the man revealed the identity of the old man without even bothering to hide it.

A pawn of his brother, the second prince of the Sky Empire!

Yes, the man inside the room was none other than the Crown Prince of the Sky Empire! The person next in line to become the emperor of the Sky Empire!
