Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 77: Chu Yang Going to Search for Qing Yi

As Xuan Hao broke through and reached an even higher realm, he noticed that there had been no new side quest related to talent issued by the system after he got the reward of his cultivation increasing by three minor realms.𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

”Maybe itʼs because I already have another side quest active?” thinking about the recent side quest he had gotten from Qing Yiʼs sudden interest in Alchemy, Xuan Hao quickly shook his head, before completing the side quest related to taking a new disciple with a talent of 50 or above, he had had 2 side quests at once.

Maybe there needed to be some sort of trigger for him to get a new side quest, like when Qing Yi had showed interest in alchemy…

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao felt a little saddened by the fact that he had not managed to get a new side quest, but he decided that there was nothing he could really do about it and just returned to familiarize himself with his newfound strength and make sure his cultivation realm was stable.

Reaching the sixth stage of the Nascent Soul Realm already put him at the level just below the Sect Master who was at the seventh stage of the Nascent Soul Realm, at the moment, Xuan Hao was already the second strongest person in the entire Flying Sword Sect!

At least when it came to cultivation… As for actual battle strength, Xuan Hao would most likely end up stronger than the Sect Master as he had comprehended True Sword Intent, allowing his strength to be way stronger than normally!

For now, at least, there should not be many that could threaten him left in the Heavenly Sky Kingdom other than the old ancestor of the imperial family…

From what he knew that old ancestor might even have progressed further and become a Half-Step Domain Lord expert…

”Should I try and find ways to get a few side quests… Maybe if I train Qing Yi or Chu Yang, something will happen…?” As Xuan Hao thought about the imperial family of the heavenly Sky Kingdom and how there were still people above the Nascent Soul Realm, he immediately felt inspired to train Qing Yi and his new disciple Chu Yang…

No matter what, the Heavenly Sky Kingdom was only a small kingdom on the Ewaria Continent, and he would have to leave at some point to grow beyond the Nascent Soul Realm!

Or he could just strengthen his sect…

…

As Xuan Hao was breaking through to the sixth stage of the Nascent Soul Realm, Chu Yang had finally managed to find his way out of the pavilion and stood exhaustedly in front of Zhi Ruo.

”How come you took so long? Itʼs been two hours by now, did Elder Xuan perhaps arrange some tests that you had to endure before he accepted you as his disciple?” Looking at the exhausted Chu Yang, Zhi Ruo asked with a puzzled look on her face as she watched Chu Yangʼs expression turn slightly rigged upon mentioning the time that had passed.

”… Master accepted me as a disciple and asked me to get your help with finding a room that I can settle into…” Chu Yang himself had no clue how to answer Zhi Ruoʼs question as he tried to dodge the question.

After leaving Xuan Haoʼs room earlier, he had first thought that he could just walk in one direction and end up on the outside, but he had underestimated the pavilion and had ended up at dead end and was forced to walk back.

Following that, Chu Yang had entered all sorts of areas of the pavilion, from a small open garden area to a large bath and empty storage rooms. Chu Yang could be said to have visited everywhere in the pavilion except the path leading to one of the many exits in the pavilion… Truly unlucky…

”I see… Do you want a room with a view to the outside…?” Seemingly picking up what had happened, Zhi Ruo tried her best not to burst out in laughter, as she skilfully asked and motioned towards a few empty rooms just besides the entrance of the pavilion.

”That… Would be great, I always liked the view from such a tall mountain peak…” Feeling his face turning a little red from embarrassment, Chu Yang accepted the offer as Zhi Ruo showed him a few rooms close to the main entrance of the pavilion.

In the end, Chu Yang managed to get the room located closest to the main entrance with a window to the outside as well.

Coming out of the pavilion once again, Chu Yang thanked Zhi Ruo for her help and just as she was about to leave, he called out to her.

”Ah, by the way, Zhi Ruo, do you know where my… s-senior sister… Q-Qing Yi… Is…?” Feeling a little uncomfortable with calling the girl he had met earlier senior sister, Chu Yang managed to barely say it as he waited for Zhi Ruoʼs response.

”…Why do you need to know that…?” Looking a little doubtful, Zhi Ruo clearly remembered what had happened earlier in the day and thought that he might be looking for her to get revenge or something along those lines.

”Ah, its masters request, he wanted me to find s-s-senior sister Q-Qing Yi for help to register me as masterʼs disciple at the sect.” Seeing the doubtful eyes of Zhi Ruo, Chu Yang hurriedly explained.

”She is currently at the Alchemy Hall from what I know, you can just wait for her until she returns, I donʼt know how long it will take… If you donʼt want to wait for her to return, you can make your way over to the Alchemy Hall.” Hearing that it was Xuan Hao who had gotten him to find Qing Yi, Zhi Ruo did not hide anything as she told him straightaway.

”I see, thank you! I will go over to the Alchemy Hall immediately then!” Saying that, Chu Yang said a word of thank as he made his way down the mountain peak towards the Alchemy Hall of the Flying Sword Sect.

”…”

Meanwhile, Zhi Ruo was left speechless as she just shook her head and left the place to resume her work.

That Chu Yang didnʼt even ask where the Alchemy Hall was located and was from what she could see. Not really good with directions… But what did it matter to her…? If he wants to run around the Flying Sword Sect with no identity and end up in trouble, she will not stop him…
