Charm point maxed out, inheriting game assets

Chapter 551: Chapter 288: Show-off Habitual Offender Xue_4 Chapter 551: Chapter 288: Show-off Habitual Offender Xue_4 Yao Lingling instantly understood the situation.

She naturally knew her good friend’s thoughts regarding this classmate.

After confirming that she had no romantic feelings for Xiao Mingxuan,

Li Shumin had quietly initiated her moves on the boss’s son, always pulling her and Xiao Mingxuan together for lunch and chat during weekdays.

Today being the weekend when everyone was off, Minmin simply invited him over.

As for this, she was not opposed at all; rather, she was quite looking forward to Minmin succeeding.

The three sat down at the dining table and began eating a luxurious version of Luo Si Fen.

Xiao Mingxuan took a sip of Coke and suddenly said, “By the end of this month, the company will announce the establishment of a new division, which I will lead as the director.

The new brand is called Charm Vista, with a positioning of high-quality, high-end, young, and fashionable women’s clothing.

I had mentioned before that I’d contacted an industry expert, and the company has entrusted DJRH headhunters, who have preliminarily reached an intention to cooperate.

If everything goes smoothly, this division will eventually become a subsidiary company…”

Hearing his words, Li Shumin and Yao Lingling were both startled.

The pace was too fast!

It hadn’t even been half a month, and the chief designer had been found, and the brand name and departmental plans were already completed.

After the two had digested his words,

Xiao Mingxuan continued, “You might not know, but as competition intensifies, the company’s profits are actually declining year by year.

As a traditional clothing design company, Shangya’s sales channels and brand visibility are not great, positioning it on the brink of elimination, changes are necessary.

In the future, the company will definitely focus on building this new brand, correspondingly, other departments will face the risk of layoffs.

My suggestion is to transfer both of you to the new division.

What do you think? Consider it?”

“That would be awesome! I’m willing!” Li Shumin quickly put down her chopsticks, raised her right hand, “I’m President Xiao’s number one fan, totally supportive of your leadership!”

“Pfft—” Xiao Mingxuan couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

“No worries, take your time to discuss it. Also, there’s another thing–next month, there will be an industry gathering here in Yan City, and our company has been invited. Besides local leading enterprises like Huashang Clothing and Geya Knitting, there will also be representatives from some domestic and international brands. If you join the division, I’ll take you there to broaden your horizons.”

Finishing his statement, Xiao Mingxuan winked at Yao Lingling, finding this colleague truly interesting.

She still carried the innocence of her student days, kind, lively, eager to help, very sensible, yet she maintained her own boundaries.

Their interactions were very comfortable.

Such an interesting young woman, he quite liked, and couldn’t help but want to flirt a little.

Listening to Xiao Mingxuan’s words and observing Li Shumin’s expectant expression,

Yao Lingling sighed internally, feeling conflicted.

She really wanted to go; it would not only boost her career and provide a more stable job but also allow her to access higher-level circles.

However, with her current capabilities and experience, going there would mean owing Xiao Mingxuan a favor and facing gossip from other company employees.

For her, the pressure was indeed great.

…

Glimmer Cafe.

“Qianqian, do you mean to say that you also want to pursue a career in the beauty industry?” Chen Yue’s tone unintentionally rose a bit, her face showing a faint smile.

Zhao Yaqian thinking about starting her own business? What a joke!

Chen Yue knew her situation well – like herself, with only a high school diploma and even worse learning capabilities, often not even coherent in conversation.

Thinking of starting her own business, she wouldn’t even consider hiring her.

Zhao Yaqian nodded solemnly, “Yes, so I came to Teacher Zhang mainly to learn and determine the exact direction. Whether to do just traditional beauty projects or delve into cosmetology.”

“Hehe.” Chen Yue laughed behind her hand, “Qianqian, coincidentally I’ve been planning to open a beauty shop recently.

A regular, small-scale beauty salon would require about 300,000 as start-up capital.

If it’s cosmetology, just the investment in beauty equipment would need at least 500,000.

Moreover, the shop needs to be in a high-end area, the decoration must focus on comfort, elegance, and professional feel.

All things considered, the total would not be less than 1 million.”

Zhao Yaqian thought for a moment and seriously said, “I’ve studied some cases before; a 1 million investment is actually too little. Competition in cosmetology lies in the equipment, more high-end ones like the Fotona4D Pro non-invasive facial sculpting laser system, a single unit costs 1.4 million.”

She had truly put in effort and had industry experience, actually knowing more about it than Chen Yue.

“Not bad, Qianqian, you seem to know quite a bit.” Chen Yue shrugged, put down her coffee cup, and looked at her, “According to your calculation, using high-end equipment, a single store investment would be over 5 million, can you afford that?”

Her last sentence clearly carried a hint of mockery.

It was likely from the moment Zhao Yaqian entered, continuously exhibiting a content, composed, calm demeanor, that deeply pricked her heart.

She couldn’t help but want to strike at her.

Zhao Yaqian’s cheeks turned slightly red, “I indeed can’t afford it.”

“Haha, I knew it; what’s the use of researching all these? You’d be better off solidly improving your own skills.”

“But…” Zhao Yaqian said somewhat bashfully, “My boyfriend has said he would solve all problems for me, including funding.”

“Ah, Qianqian, you are really naive,” Chen Yue said disbelievingly, “You believe such unrealistic promises?”

Her ex-boyfriend had given promises only in bed.
