Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4377: Leagues Above

”…”

Venerable Knight Lussandra looked stunned beyond compare, ”Are you… are you really stating the truth?”

”Yes, thatʼs why you all can never take the Realm Core from me until I give it away, which I promised to do so to their previous owners. On the other hand, I felt this information could be of help to humanityʼs survival against the war with the other galaxies.”

Davisʼs lips curled into a smug smile, ”Donʼt you think itʼs useful?”

”…”

Venerable Knight Lussandra shuddered.

Useful…?

It was practically heaven-sent!

As long as they could gain a foothold by conquering a realm in another galaxy, they would be able to conquer like they did before for the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy. They could start from the third layer and make their way to the first layer.

Who could stop them!?

The monstrously powerful beasts or spirits would not be able to come down to their respective Lower Realms!

In the meantime, they could slowly make their way up, eventually conquering a whole galaxy!

The ten abilities were vastly helpful in gaining a foothold.

”How- how do you activate these abilities?”

”Well, thatʼs a secret.”

”What?” Venerable Knight Lussandra looked confused.

”I think the ten abilities I gave you alone were worth the information youʼre going to give me. Now, you better hold your end of the deal, or Iʼm not going to like it.”

”…”

Venerable Knight Lussandra frowned. Of course, she was going to speak but she wanted to hear the activation method for these abilities. What kind of ritual was involved?

”At least, a hint…”

She asked.

Davis couldnʼt help but blink as he felt her voice had a slight tone of imploring. Was she actually begging him?

Somehow, he liked her humility and her understanding of the situation which allowed her to make the right decisions- at least in his perspective, she was right even if the others were to criticize her that she was making all the wrong agreements.

”The primal language of the spirits.” Davis said.

”… the Fires of Life Language…” Venerable Knight Lussandra muttered ever so lightly.

”Was it too easy?” Davis pursed his lips, smiling wryly.

Still, he didnʼt feel regretful.

He knew many ancient people might understand the First of Life Language and even speak it. However, the most important point was being able to connect with the Realm Core Spirits and having the terrorizing factor to force them to do their bidding like Calypsea can.

Without these two additional factors, they could forget about using these abilities.

He knew if the human race had all three- then they couldʼve found out about these abilities long ago and started using them, but the fact was that they didnʼt.

Otherwise, there was no way such a big person like Venerable Knight Lussandra wouldnʼt be in the know.

ʼIf they want to use these abilities, theyʼll have to approach me and get Calypsea, whose karma stems back as far as the beginning of the universe…ʼ

Calypsea was the manifestation of an apocalyptic flame that existed from time immemorial, after all. It manifested every time a realm reached the end of its lifespan. Only she was able to connect and speak with the Realm Core Spirits other than a few exceptional cases, but none of them were humans, as far as he could tell.

”Now, itʼs your turn.”

Davis gestured at her. He turned to look at the mountains and rivers, feeling a sense of foreboding at this topic. Karmic burden was ready to fall on him, just like the karmic burden of what he told fell on Venerable Knight Lussandra.

She took a deep breath.

”In the Exalt Stage, everything from the Empyrean Vessel and the Supreme Immortal Rune, Crest, and Sigil will be amalgamated into the Exalt Vessel. It wonʼt give any prowess, so the only thing that separates one Exalt from the other is oneʼs law comprehension and their physiques, of which most Exalts donʼt have the latter.”

Davis nodded, and she continued.

”However, when law comprehension reaches an unbelievable level, for example, Level Four Quintessence for any Primary Law, which is above the Exalted Stage, an Empyrean can become an Alpha Exalt after their Exalt Heavenly Tribulation. Even at Level One Exalt Stage, their power is at Level Six Exalt Stage, excluding their base prowess. There are a few more requirements, but thatʼs the gist of it.”

”Likewise, for the Primarch Stage, there is the Supreme and Absolute. I and the other Venerable Knights are all Absolute Primarchs, which puts us on the level of Omega Exalts. You cannot defeat us in the Upper Realms. You are absolutely- going to be sealed.”

Venerable Knight Lussandra coldly declared. Her eyes displayed an ounce of pity as though feeling sorry for his fate. She truly did feel sorry after he revealed the information about the Realm Coreʼs abilities for the sake of humanity.

”…”

Davis leaned back and put his leg over the other.

He went silent for a few seconds as though dreading his future.

After some time, he opened his mouth, and one of his brows squinted, ”You think I wonʼt become an Omega Exalt?”

”Potentially, you can, but I doubt you could pass your tribulation. Not only will you face the heavens, but the backlash will also be from the Elemental Dimension. With all the different laws you learned, it is going to inevitably send you into a spiral and make you consolidate your laws wrongly. Forget about becoming an Omega Exalt. I doubt you can even become an Alpha Exalt this young. You simply do not have enough time to comprehend Laws at that level.”

”Besides, weʼll finish you off when youʼre still in the Empyrean Stage. If we canʼt, weʼll seal you as initially planned. You donʼt have a choice in this matter, so itʼs better if you surrender now. At least, I can make an effort to spare your family who is not Divergents. I still have the authority to do so.”

Venerable Knight Lussandra said. There was some urging in her voice as though she was advising for his own good.

”…”

Davis stared at her before he chuckled.

”Thanks for the advice, but Iʼll continue traversing the world my way.”

He stood up, ”It was nice having a conversation with you and chancing upon an existential crisis at the end. Weʼll meet again.”

”…”

Venerable Knight Lussandra stood up, ”Clara will become an Omega Exalt if all goes well. Thatʼs why she will remain in the Level Nine Empyrean Stage for a long time. You donʼt need to worry about her.”

After saying a few words, she alighted the flying boat and then left.

Davis led the flying boat to the floating palace.

It was true that in the Empyrean Stage, there was no longer a law comprehension limit, so one could comprehend Laws that were even at the Exalt Stage. However, this was his first time hearing that one could even go beyond that and attain a new Exalt Vessel, the Alpha Exalt Vessel, which makes a Level One Exaltʼs ordinary power comparable to a Level Six Exalt.

Their prowess wasnʼt included in it seems.

Still, he wondered what an Omega Exaltʼs innate power would be like. Although Venerable Knight Lussandra didnʼt say it, he guessed it was comparable to at least Level Nine Exalt Stage, which means they could still raise their cultivation base to Level Nine Exalt Stage and be comparable to Level Seventeen Exalt if it was even a thing that existed.

Furthermore, they would have their prowess, which puts them far above that.

ʼNo wonder they have always been complacent… not taking me seriously…ʼ

Davis chuckled.

He arrived before the floating palace and jumped into it.

ʼWho cares if thereʼs so many obstacles in my path? That hasnʼt changed anything since the beginning. The only focus I need to place right now is in Yotan…!ʼ

He, who decided never to get drunk with wine, was thoroughly drunk on his wives.
