Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2442 Delivery

Davis and Ellia walked through the spatial vortex, arriving at the other side.

They seemed to arrive before a giant gate, coming to a stop in the hallway gleaming with crystal illumination.

”This aura… it feels slightly familiar...”

In front of them was also a purplish silhouette still covered in spatial haze. Her voluminous figure was present, but her features were absent like a specterʼs, causing Davis to purse his lips.

It wasnʼt him who had spoken but Fallen Heaven. Unexpectedly, it interjected at this moment from nowhere, causing his heart to skip a beat. He certainly knew it didnʼt mean this purplish silhouette.

Still, his gaze was on the purplish silhouette. Just as he was about to speak, a little figure appeared beside him and rushed towards the purplish silhouette.

”Mother!”

Stella Voidfield hurriedly sped through the hallway as she flew and threw herself towards the silhouette. Her little arms wrapped around that silhouette waist as she held her close.

”Iʼm back!”

The purplish silhouette simply raised her hand and patted Stella Voidfieldʼs head, ”Welcome back.”

Stella Voidfield jumped in her motherʼs embrace. For the first time in her life, she was hugging her motherʼs true spirit, causing her to almost tear up. However, she didnʼt forget that her true body was still with Davis.

However, just as she thought of them, a sly smile appeared on her lips as she turned around and pointed toward them.

”Mother, these two people bullied me. They dared to sully my eyes as they performed the lip deed.”

”…”

Lip deed?

Davis and Ellia had no words to say about this complaining child. The latter simply blushed and refused to explain herself as she looked away.

However, Wix Voidfield shook her head.

”Itʼs your fault for watching them, Stella. Do you think I donʼt know your interests?”

”Eh…” Stellaʼs expression froze.

She didnʼt think her mother would betray her, causing her lips to tremble as she waved her sleeve at Davisʼs suppressed smile.

”Donʼt misunderstand. I just like rewarding couples for their joint effort to arrive before my magnificent presence with some normal fruits but starting to be indecent in front of me is disrespectful!”

”I understand. However, itʼs your fault for peeking when youʼre supposed to be in the life ring. Am I wrong?”

Davis raised his brows boldly with no regard to Wix Voidfield. It caused Stella Voidfield to gnash her teeth against him but eventually harrumphed like a little girl and looked away, accepting that it was her fault but refusing to admit it.

On the other hand, Wix Voidfieldʼs expression wasnʼt visible as she was covered by spatial haze. However, it was at ease. The fact that Stella Voidfield was able to peek out meant that he didnʼt suppress her inside the life ring.

Moreover, his aura didnʼt feel evil at a glimpse, so she considered that it was one of the better Divergents who had paid a visit. Her daughter also came back home safely, causing her to nod toward him before she raised her hand.

”Transport Stella out.”

Davis nodded and waved his hand.

Stella had already uprooted. Her fifty-meter tall true body with purple leaves appeared outside, quickly filling the hallway with spatial undulations.

Wix Voidfield gestured with her hands as her spatial energy gently enveloped the Void Dust Tree. With it, the Void Dust Tree came to no harm. She brought Stellaʼs true body to her side before gesturing towards the giant gate.

”Master is waiting for you inside.”

Davis pursed his lips, ”How many disciples does your master have?”

”I donʼt know. I may never know until I meet them again because some have already ascended.”

”…”

Davis didnʼt ask anymore and nodded his head, walking towards the giant gate that thrummed open. Ellia followed. However, a calm voice echoed out.

”Junior sister, it would be disrespectful of you to go inside without being invited.”

Ellia turned to look at Wix Voidfield, ”Senior sister, I was wrong, and I will continue to be wrong.”

She didnʼt stop her steps, continuing to follow Davis.

”Aha.” Davis couldnʼt help but chuckle, ”Ellia, stay here. It would not be nice of me to create friction between fellow disciples. Itʼs not like your master is going to do something to me, no?”

”Ah, Iʼm just curious.”

Ellia blushed as she came to a stop, stamping her foot lightly.

When he put it like this, how could she follow him?

”Junior sister, thereʼs a level of discipline you should conduct yourself with even if he is your husband. I know itʼs not been that long since you arrived, but you should learn to trust your master.”

Ellia blushed more.

It was just that she didnʼt want Davis to come in the face of harm. After all, she was the one who brought him here. She felt responsible.

But Davis, on the other hand, felt that he shouldnʼt make Ellia stand in harmʼs way. Their thoughts were similar, yet both somehow meant disrespect for Saintess Lunaria.

However, Wix Voidfield didnʼt mind. Behind her spatial veil, she only smiled before caressing Stella Voidfieldʼs head.

”Letʼs get you settled and prepared for your immortal tribulation, little Divergent.”

”Mhm~” Stella Voidfield obediently replied.

Davis, who heard it, became astonished as he cast a glance at the Voidfields. Does that mean both were also Divergents?

But then, recalling how Saintess Lunaria accepted Myria and Ellia, his astonishment only turned into understanding before he walked into the chamber, the giant gates closing on him.

On the other hand, Ellia didnʼt seem surprised at the Voidfields turning out to be Divergents.

She knew that not any lifeform that could produce a heavenly resource could become a Divergent, but there were some that could become Divergents for a wide variety of reasons, one being such as the Void Dust Tree being able to create a stable mini-realm comparable to true worlds in the immortal world.

Not even Immortal Emperors were capable of that, although they could have their own inner space, which was different but also attributed to the type of cultivation manual they used. Mostly, only spatial-attributed manuals could give birth to inner worlds capable of hosting lifeforms.

In the case of magical beasts being Divergents, it could be Variant Magical Beasts.

Ellia knew all this because she also digested plenty of information from Myria during the ten years they created her new body. Now, her current knowledge was eighty percent comparable to Myriaʼs!
