Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2388 Everlightʼs Growth Potential

Soon, Starcy became bored and disappeared into the distance, playing in the Nurturing Life Formation as she went out to explore.

On the other hand, Sophie and Niera remained with Davis, sharing their love for him as they stuck close to him, relishing this time they had with him even though it was like a double date with a single man.

After all, if he went out, it was unknown if they would ever see him again in this vast, unpredictable new world.

Becoming emotional, Sophie even hinted that she would help him relieve if he wanted to, but Davis declined, informing them of his intent to abstain from dual cultivation for a year to prepare for impregnating them.

When they heard such raw words from his mouth, they couldnʼt help but beat him up lovingly because they felt embarrassed.

Still, they further spent their time just simply holding each other and discussing Fire Laws and gaining extreme insights because of Davisʼs comprehension of heavenly flames before eventually arriving at the topic of who should hold their marriage first between them.

Sophie, being the eldest of them, decided to give Niera the opportunity to marry Davis first.

”Are you sure, Sophie?” Nieraʼs amethyst pupils shook as her eyes were tearing up.

”Of course.” Sophie displayed a huge smile, ”When I almost went mad with the need for power because we nearly lost our reason to live, you were there for me, looking after me. I will never forget that, Niera.”

”Sophie...” Nieraʼs voice carried a moved emotion before a hint of determination appeared in her eyes.

”I havenʼt said this before, but Iʼll say it now. Iʼll be your sworn younger sister, Sophie. Do you accept?”

”I accept...!” Sophieʼs eyes shot wide in shock, but she hurriedly nodded her head, ”I accept! I accept...”

She released Davisʼs left arm and lunged towards Niera as the latter did the same, holding their hands as they smiled at each other. Their eyes were filled with emotions that transcended that of mere friends or that of connection by their man but not so much by love but feelings of mutual trust reaching the level of loyalty and care.

But at this moment...

”Then, as sworn sisters, are you two prepared to sleep with me together?”

”...”

Suddenly, a wicked smile entered the side of their line of sight, causing Sophie and Niera to shiver. The blush that was already on their cheeks spread to their ears as they were caught in front of him, both of their butts being held by him.

Davis lightly patted their soft butts, feeling the fleshly waves through the fabric of their robe before he let them go. However, they stayed in their position, appearing to look away from him as the blush even traveled to their neck, stunning Davis.

He was only teasing them but looking at them become more embarrassed, perhaps thinking about it as though they could be agreeable, he couldnʼt help but want to try his luck.

”Then, when the two of you are finally married to me and have my kids, I want both of you on my bed one day. Do you two give your word for it?”

”...” Sophieʼs expression turned amorous as her eyelashes fluttered, ”I... I am fine with it...”

”Ah...” Niera revealed a slightly panicky expression, ”Sophie means if you canʼt help it so much that you want us together... then... then we have no choice but to adapt to your fervent desires...”

”So?” Davis raised his brows, ”Youʼre saying that you donʼt want to?”

”Absolutely... not...” Nieraʼs lips pursed in shame, ”... I mean... if you can make sure that only Sophie and I are included on the bed... then...”

Davisʼs pupils shook as the scene in front of him enamored him.

There were two blonde young beauties holding hands and looking at him with an expression that was mixed with passion and shame. He couldnʼt help but want to pounce on them both and devour their taste but used his willpower to hold himself back, smiling lightly.

”Of course. You both have my word that no one can intrude upon our intimacy.”

He reached out his hands and patted both of their hands before standing up and leaving. Another minute here, and he was afraid that he would really lose the waiting game as their emotions grew impassioned by the moment.

Perhaps, even Niera and Sophie would lose their minds if he made a move on them at that moment. Such were their expressions.

Nonetheless, he arrived before Evelynn and Everlight, looking at the former teaching the latter even till now.

At this moment, Everlight was learning how to control her undulations and aura, and by the looks of it, Davis was astonished by Everlightʼs quick progress as he could only sense little of her aura. Perhaps, since life energy wasnʼt berserk but ethereal and smooth, it was easier to control?

With his experience in controlling life energy, Davis felt that should be the case.

Looking at the white-haired beauty possessing a sexy countenance oozing out of her face even while she had her eyes closed, Davis couldnʼt help but feel attracted, just like how he found Nadiaʼs transcendental beauty shaking his soul in the past.

Previously, Everlight had been in his strike zone like when the first time he met Evelynn but now, she was practically begging him to make her his woman so much so that his mind started to feel like he would be doing a disservice to himself if he doesnʼt court Everlight.

Sensing all this with a little bit of introspection, Davis couldnʼt help but feel that the realm of Emperor-Tier was frightening. Not only had its nobility had commoners reeling in fright, but sometimes, it provoked the feeling of wanting to conquer that nobility.

The more pride and ego one had, the more one would be provoked. But to add to that beauty, Everlight also possessed Charm Laws if her bloodline origin connecting to Illusory Charming Fox was true, making it so that if she wanted, she could probably seduce him into sleeping with her with little to no effort required.

Davis was aware such was her power at the moment. Perhaps, his Everlasting Samsara Tribunal Physique may have some resistance, but for some reason, he didnʼt feel like resisting this angel-like vixen at all.

Her very being that represented Life Laws, or perhaps, the representation of fertility, was extremely attractive in his eyes.

”Everlight, I see that you have calmed a lot. Good.”

Everlightʼs slanted eyes shot wide open as she stood up and turned to look at him, each and everyone one of her movement appearing elegant even though she was hasty. She now wore an azure-white robe, giving her a fairy-like figure that was like a breath of fresh air even amidst the soothing atmosphere.

”Your emin- I mean, master, Iʼve learned so many things, and I think I came to terms with my new body with mistressʼs help.”

”I see.” Davis pursed his lips, ”But Everlight, Nadia calls me master because she likes to and not because Iʼm forcing her to call her that way. No Emperor-Tier existence would lower their heads unless they wanted to forcefully. Thatʼs why you can also drop the honorific if youʼre uncomfortable with it.”

Everlight blinked. Her azure-golden stare contained some rare hidden emotion before she shook her head.

”Master, I donʼt have such a notion. This noble body, this growth... itʼs all because of you. Although Iʼm still reluctant that I have become a fox, I have gained more power and unthinkable techniques. It would be ungrateful of me not to address your eminence as master.”

”...” Davis lightly nodded, ”Then at least letʼs drop the formalities. These people here, starting from now, is your family like me.”

”...”

”Of course, it only depends on what you take us for. If you think that weʼre only going to use you, then I canʼt do anything about it. On the other hand, if you want to-”

”Help...!” Everlight raised both her hands and clenched her fists, ”I want to help master in whatever way possible!~”

”For starters, I think I can help that injured lady over there.” She quickly pointed towards Sophie in the distance, causing Davisʼs eyes to widen.

”How did you know?”

”I... I think I can sense wounds...?” Everlight made a wry expression while raising her brows, appearing to question herself as she answered.

”I see...”

Davis nodded. He didnʼt heal Sophie because he knew that she would make a natural recovery while staying in this Nurturing Life Formation, but now, he had some interest in knowing Everlightʼs abilities.

”Yes, darling?”

Sophie arrived as she was called through a soul transmission by Davis. He smiled at her and grabbed her shoulders, turning her around.

”Heal Sophieʼs back, right over her lumbar spine...”

Davis pointed at the location of swelling, causing Everlight to blink before she nodded her head. She already knew the location of the tensed muscles and swelled bones but still admired how he cared about his people.

Smiling lightly, Everlight walked forwards with silent steps and placed her index finger on the spot where Davis displayed as a ray of white-azure light began to fill the space.

”Ahh~”

Sophie couldnʼt help but moan, her lips quivering as she let out a sound of pain and pleasure before she closed her mouth. She understood that she was being healed, but caught off-guard, her cheeks turned red.

”I apologize... that was too dense...”

Everlight quickly bowed thrice to Sophie while opposing her noble will. However, Sophie blinked as she turned to look back. She moved around, shaking her butt and bending her waist, her eyes widening in shock.

”Instant recovery!?”

Davis was also astonished over Everlightʼs healing prowess, his face having the expression of a pleasant surprise as he sensed that her prowess reached five levels higher at the very least, able to face immortals while she was a mortal beast.

Now, he had a teammate whom he felt was extremely important as he could not be here with his people at all times. Any injuries incurred, and Everlight could heal the injured like it was nothing, causing him to feel that this venture was worth it.

Moreover, Everlight also didnʼt seem to be the type to abandon things and go somewhere else just because her identity changed, so he didnʼt need to worry if she would betray him. As far as he could see and sense, Everlight was full of gratefulness and possessed the emotion of loyalty-no, devotion towards him.

”Everlight, speak of your species technique. If youʼre afraid to share them, then inform me through soul transmission.”

Davis became more curious, wondering what the legendary Nine Lives Gracious Fox was capable of. On the other hand, Everlight didnʼt hesitate to answer with her mouth.

”Master, my species technique as a Nine Lives Gracious Fox is-”
