The Noble Lady of Lust

Chapter 260: Best friend forever

”Haahh.... haaahh.... okay, I’ve calmed down now. I just wanted to get some of my complaining out.”

”What kind of physical complaint was that?”

”What did you say?”

”I mean... it’s good that you let your emotions out.”

If with that she was letting my mistake go, I think it was fine.

”Haaa~ then what do you plan to do? We’re not in danger now that we know this, we’re agents, at any time they can-”

”ahh!? oh!, that’s, right, I didn’t mention it did I...? My legacy is a powerful legacy, it has an ability that allows me to prevent the gods from knowing what I do and think, and trick them into seeing something else.”

”What, is there such a thing as that! But what about me, I don’t have your legacy, and at any moment...”

”You don’t need to worry either. You just need to, from time to time, drink the potions I give you and my ability will affect you.”

”Y-you should have told me earlier!!! Do you know how anxious I was all week when I finally understood the implications?”

”Teehee(╹ڡ╹ )... No, wait, why are you hoarding so much mana in your leg, what are you planning to do?”

yeah, I have to be more aware of things, I should have thought of all this when I told Silvia the truth, no wonder she was upset.

Now I had to be careful or I might start to have the same habits as Elena and create another dangerous weapon against me. Her kicks were starting to hurt more and more.

’Pure intentions, help me...’

”Your pure intentions don’t work on me. This is to get you into little awareness and empathy.”

”...Hey, Silvia, I always wondered.... how did you read my pure intentions? ”

”You’re not going to change the subject.”

”Ouch!!!! was it necessary to kick me in the butt... well, that blow did deserve it. But it’s genuine curiosity! You didn’t create some misunderstanding or something!”

”At first yes, but after reading things like ’Chris is thinking if his two hands together can encircle one of your breasts (with pure intentions)’or’Chris is thinking of impressing Lys with his strength, to join her to his harem (with pure intentions)’, I started to doubt.”

”oh? That’s how it looks, how interesting, in a way you are invulnerable to this aspect of my blessing, well good thing there is no misunderstanding, about your chest it was genuine curiosity there was no, perversion in between.”

”haaaaahh~...you’re a basket case, even because I’m close to someone like you”

”it’s true!!!! That was the important issue here!!!, what’s your verdict regarding our friendship? You know, you are my best friend, I want to stay like this for a long time. If possible, till the end of our lives.”

”...”

”You know, you are the first friend I made. In my previous life I had nothing and, well... you’re the only one I can consider a true best friend since I came into this world.”

Leaving aside the girls, who had motives beyond friendship to begin with, the servants of my house and family, Silvia would be my best friend.

I’m going to ignore the rest of the guys in the group including William. At most, they would just be Comun friends.

Silvia is my true partner through thick and thin, my only best friend, and not just because she was in my previous life, but because that’s what I believe from my experiences with her so far.

With her I can talk freely and honestly, plus do many things that with others I can’t, she is someone I can trust.

”...”

”And I want to keep it that way until the end. Even when we are old we can marry our respective grandchildren to each other. I know you like to plan ahead, don’t you? Think about it, I’m thinking of naming one of my daughters after you and-”

”Stop, stop, I get it.”

”So...”

”Yeah, for starters, you didn’t have to worry, I wasn’t thinking of breaking our friendship.”

”Oh!!! It’s good, our friendship will be everlasting”

” haaaah~... although, honestly, I’m going to refuse that thing about being your best friend forever.”

”What? Why? We are the explosive duo Silvi-Chris or if you want now Silvi-Phina.”

”￣へ￣..... Yeah, I definitely don’t want something with that adjective forever..... Okay. that aside, there’s one last thing.”

”What, why, don’t change the subject. This is an important topic, our eternal friendship depends on this.”

”It’s about Will.”

”Oh! Don’t tell me, finally understanding what will happen in the future, you decided to go all in with William. Don’t worry, I’ll tie him up and take him to your room. I was still planning to do it if you didn’t make progress, before the end of the year.”

”Don’t do it! And that’s exactly what I want to talk about... stop being so radical about it.”

”but, it’s just that you...”

”haaa~ look, since you lived through it too, I think you understand, right? the person from those memories and us now are not the same person, or do you think you look like what you call ”alternative self”?”

”well, you’re right about that...”

”that’s why I think it’s time for you to stop being so prejudiced towards me, you really think I’m a crazy crazy person, like in those memories.”

”...a little bit yes, ouch, stop kicking me!!!”

”ehem...as I was saying, I understand why you want to pair me up with Will and your intentions, even if they were exaggerated”

” you understand me now, that’s why I wanted to...”

”let me finish”

”...”

”but as I said I don’t think I’m the same now as the one in the memories so you don’t need to act like that”

”...”

’wait, are you saying that you seriously don’t like William or something, I was still being tsundere?’

’No, I’m not tsundere, and I’m not going to be a yandere either,”

”...”

Leaving aside that now I don’t know if it’s because she’s using her ability or I’m easy to read like Alice says.

I think Silvia is exaggerating, although, it is possible that we are different in the way we make decisions and act, because of the differences in our experiences, it is obvious that we are no longer the same person.

But I think the essence of who we are remains the same, and I don’t think her yandersimo will vanish out of thin air just because she says so.

I would just be denying it right now, which would be tsunderism in a way, basically nothing changed.

’hups...I hope she’s not reading my intentions’.

in fact, now Silvia knows a lot of things, my alternate self told Silvia things and we would talk about those things back to back.

Now with the memories I gave her I think she understands most of my words, and what it means to be a Tsundere and Yandere, I have to be careful.

Well either she didn’t read what I thought or she decided to ignore it she continued with what I was saying.

”so, I appreciate your help with Will, but it’s not...”

but what she was about to say didn’t give me a good feeling, especially when she seemed totally serious.

”Wait, you’re not saying that...”

”Yes. While I appreciate your help, you don’t need to be so forceful. Let’s just carry on as usual. I think now that I know what will happen, I can handle things better regarding my relationship with Will.”

”...Whew~, you scared me. I thought you’d say something like you don’t like him anymore or something.”

”Hey!!, why would that be a problem?, wouldn’t it be better, so potentially nothing bad would happen, right?”.

”Well, you’re right, but if you didn’t like William, and having someone as irresistible as me around, I’d be in danger. ughhh! Stop kicking me! I won’t stand for this! Take this!”

”Ghhk! You’re the one who keeps asking for it and talking nonsense! You’re not even that handsome as a man. Besides, uwahh! You know I don’t like getting my ribs poke me, but you keep doing it!”.

”Waaagh!... I do it exactly because you don’t like it, silly. Duh!!!”

”So childish... Ghhhk! Okay, let’s stop! I don’t want to end up fighting, it’s not worth it and classes are about to start.”

”Aghh! You’re the childish one! You say let’s stop and then you throw the last punch... but fine, let’s stop.”

If we kept going like this, she capable and would start conjuring a self-destructive spell again.

”Haaah~ In the end, we’re left as we were. But like I said, there’s no need to be extreme.”

”...Okay, team Silvi-Chris forever.”

At first I thought he was going to say something like he didn’t like William in this timeline anymore or something.

Fortunately she just doesn’t want me to be extreme with the methods. Although I think that would be the right way to go, it is true that she now also knows the future, so she must understand her own path. My role now is to support her.

And most importantly, our eternal friendship was never in jeopardy, so all was well.

’I wonder now that we are sincere friends and she knows I am a woman, will she let me massage her breast?’

”Yes, definitely... I’m opposed to being your long-term friend.”

”What, why?”

..

.

After we finished that, I was happy that most things were going well, although Silvia hasn’t taken the tsundere out of it; in fact, it even escalated to affect our friendship, but things were still good.

On the other hand, I had to clarify again with the girls, especially Eira, who don’t understand that I’m not flirting with Silvia, but rather it’s an expression between friends.

At that moment, when we were already about to enter the classroom, perhaps because I solved all my priority problems, I finally remembered a topic that I had postponed and that, in fact, I shouldn’t have done it.

”Come to think of it... Did Aurora come while I was gone?”

”No, big sister. We thought you told her it wasn’t necessary for her to come this week?”

”.....”

No, in fact I had forgotten to tell her that there was no need for a report last week, but the fact that she didn’t come means that something could happen to her.

After all, it is semi-obligatory by contract to come and see me unless I say otherwise.

I quickly looked around the classroom and sure enough, she, who is usually among the first to arrive, wasn’t there, and worse, I had a bad feeling about it.

”Shit... Number, uhem, Seraphina, you take care of it. I’ll go if I have to.”

”Sorry, I need to go see what’s going on. I’ll try to get back as soon as possible.”

I didn’t know exactly what his situation was, I just hoped it wasn’t too late, or that it wasn’t anything serious to begin with.

Now I’m regretting that I let it slip that I neglected that she was going through a sensitive phase as a half demon, but as far as I know nothing serious should be happening to her to begin with and she should be past the worst of it by now.

I sent my doppelgänger to check on Aurora’s situation, but well, maybe I’m overthinking it and simply had a reason, not to have come.

After all, I had told her that, if there was a good reason or something, she didn’t have to give me a weekly report, now I hoped that reason wasn’t something bad.
