Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1635: Preparing for the Wedding

On the surface, the merger of the gangs seemed unrelated to Ye Feiʼs marriage to Liu Yunʼer, but Liu Tianlin had a two-pronged plan.

First, although the Zhonghua Building wasnʼt as powerful as the Lingyun Society or the Holy War Organization, it was still the leading gang in the city.

The members naturally had their pride. If it were simply swallowed up by the Lingyun Society, theyʼd likely feel uneasy.

But if it were presented as Liu Yunʼerʼs dowry, and after the wedding, Liu Tianlin announced his retirement, it would be akin to Ye Fei taking over his position.

It was just a different way of saying it, but it would definitely make it easier for the Zhonghua Buildingʼs people to accept.

The second reason was more personal for Liu Tianlin. After Qiao Ya had been raped by Ye Fei, she deliberately kept her distance from him.

At first, he thought his wife just felt guilty and couldnʼt get over it. But gradually, he realized it was more than that. It seemed like Ye Fei had left a mark on her heart.

Whenever she mentioned Ye Fei, even though she showed a hint of hatred, didnʼt that just prove she couldnʼt forget him?

Thatʼs why Liu Tianlin was eager to get Ye Fei and Liu Yunʼer married. Once that happened, Qiao Ya would become his mother-in-law.

Knowing his wifeʼs traditional nature, even if she had feelings for Ye Fei, this new relationship would surely make her let go of those thoughts.

Liu Yunʼer had a simple mind and didnʼt think too much about it. She just saw the merger of the two gangs and her upcoming marriage to Ye Fei as a double celebration.

If it werenʼt for a few things that had happened, sheʼd be over the moon. But now, besides her happiness, there was a thorn in her heart. She glanced at her mom subconsciously.

Qiao Ya wasnʼt as simple-minded as her daughter, but she also didnʼt guess her husbandʼs intentions. She never admitted, or maybe never realized, that Ye Fei had left a mark on her heart.

She thought she hated him, but after seeing him again, she found she just couldnʼt hate him. Instead, she kept recalling that humiliating yet pleasurable moment. So, right now, she just wanted to stay as far away from Ye Fei as possible.

If her daughter married him, wouldnʼt that mean theyʼd see each other even more often?

However, Qiao Ya couldnʼt bear to refuse. As a mother, she knew her daughterʼs feelings all too well. She was well aware of how infatuated her daughter was with Ye Fei.

Even after seeing him rape her own mother, that infatuation hadnʼt waned at all. If she didnʼt let her daughter be with Ye Fei, she feared her daughter would never be truly happy.

Qiao Ya was usually a strong-willed woman, but faced with this issue, she was at a complete loss. She had no idea what to do, so she just pushed the problem to Liu Yiru, saying, ”Sister-in-law, what do you think?”

”I think itʼs a win-win situation. It not only fulfills their love but also merges the two gangs into one, making them even stronger,” Liu Yiru said with a smile. Qiao Ya hadnʼt guessed Liu Tianlinʼs intentions, and Liu Yunʼer hadnʼt either.

But Liu Yiru had. Although she didnʼt know exactly what Qiao Ya was thinking, she had absolute confidence in her son.

Any woman who met him would surely remember him, let alone Qiao Ya, who had already been with him. And Liu Yiru knew all too well how amazing her sonʼs... well, letʼs just say his ”assets” were.

Tianlin, youʼre digging your own grave, Liu Yiru thought to herself.

Anyone who knew Ye Fei knew he was kind of a... well, letʼs say he had a thing for both mothers and daughters.

Once Qiao Ya became his mother-in-law, his interest in her would only grow. What was once a natural progression would likely turn into a more active pursuit.

Ye Fei had many women in his life, but Liu Yiru was the only one he had actually married. However, she didnʼt feel any burden about it. She knew the other women in their family loved Ye Fei just as deeply, beyond any formalities.

They didnʼt care about the wedding ceremony. So even if Ye Fei married another girl first, they wouldnʼt mind at all.

Liu Yiruʼs agreement naturally made Liu Tianlin very happy. He immediately started discussing the wedding details with her, even pulling Qiao Ya into the conversation. But Qiao Ya always seemed preoccupied.

While the adults were busy planning the wedding, Ye Fei moved closer to Liu Yunʼer, gently wrapped his arm around her slender waist, and said with a smile, ”Yunʼer, you never expected weʼd get married so soon, did you?”

To his surprise, Liu Yunʼer squirmed and broke free from his hold, blushing and saying, ”Ye Fei, donʼt do that.”

”Whatʼs wrong? Are you unhappy? Or donʼt you want to marry me?” Ye Fei asked, puzzled.

”Of course not! I do want to, and Iʼm very happy, but...” Liu Yunʼer quickly said. Marrying the man she loved was, of course, a joyful thing.

But she just couldnʼt forget seeing Ye Feiʼs... well, letʼs just say his ”big thing” thrusting into her momʼs... private parts. It made her feel a bit awkward, especially now that she was about to marry him.

Ye Fei could guess what Liu Yunʼer was thinking, but he wasnʼt worried at all. He was confident he could easily make her accept this.

After all, he had more than a few mother-daughter pairs around him, and they were all now happily sharing his bed, whether it was with three or more people.

Since the merger of the two gangs needed to happen as soon as possible, Ye Feiʼs marriage to Liu Yunʼer also had to be completed quickly. After discussing it, Liu Yiru and Liu Tianlin decided together that the wedding would be in three days.

Marriage is no small matter, and thereʼs a lot to prepare. With such a tight schedule, everyone had to work right after the decision was made. Liu Tianlin and his wife, along with Liu Yiru, discussed who to invite. Ye Fei took the people from the Zhonghua Building to buy everything needed for the wedding.

As for Liu Yunʼer, she went back to her bedroom. People here placed more emphasis on ancient rituals than in their home country, especially for big events like weddings, which were basically conducted according to ancient procedures.

By the end of the day, Ye Fei was pretty exhausted. With his physical strength, moving things around was no problem. But the real issue was mental fatigue.

All his capable people were not around, and the important members of the Zhonghua Building were all seriously injured and still recovering.

The remaining people couldnʼt make decisions, so he had to handle everything himself. And since he had no experience with this kind of stuff, he sometimes got flustered.

He wondered if he should find a place at night to transform and kill some members of the Holy War Organization to replenish his supply of recovery pills, which were almost gone.

That way, he could make the injured people from the Zhonghua Building lively and energetic the next day, and they could help him out.
