New Age Of Summoners

”Junior Brother, I think it is better for you to keep at least 100,000 crystals to guarantee your ranking.”

However, Flint was the first one to recover from his shock.

”Yes, Junior Brother. What if there are other cultivators who have collected a huge number of crystals?”

Garrett nodded and added.

”If that happens, none of us might be able to enter the top ten rankings.”

Bess also joined.

The three of them didn’t want to divide the crystals equally, as it would reduce the chances of getting the Divine Elemental Potion for all of them.

If there was a sudden change in the rankings, Thorne needed to have enough crystals to guarantee his position.

Their goal was to have the assurance of getting at least one Divine Elemental Potion.

’I am missing home.’

On the other hand, looking at the three people sincerely worrying about Thorne, Ajax couldn’t help but think about his own family.

His father, Aron, and his wife, Siora, had always cared about him.

Even though they were separated by countless worlds and universes, Ajax could still feel the warmth of his family whenever he thought about them.

’They are really similar.’

Ajax smiled faintly.

In this world where treasures break trust, finding loyal friends and family was a huge blessing.

Nevertheless, he didn’t say anything but quietly listened to their words.

.

.

”Junior Brother, listen to us.”

The three Senior Brothers and Sister tried to convince Thorne to take all the Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals to get the guaranteed first ranking in the first round.

”Don’t worry about those things. I already have a plan regarding that.”

However, Thorne shook his head and confidently said, ”Don’t worry. I will make sure all of us enter the top ten rankings.”

”Huh?”

Ajax raised his eyebrows.

Looking at Thorne’s confident expression, he became curious.

’Why does he look so confident?’

Ajax had already given them 200,000 Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals.

Even after adding the 20,000 crystals they had collected, there was no absolute guarantee that all four of them could enter the top ten.

Just because Thorne’s group collected only 20,000 crystals, that doesn’t mean other participants who formed their own teams would also collect only 20,000 crystals.

After all, there were more than 100 geniuses participating in the First Round.

Some of them might have obtained an enormous number of crystals just like Ajax.

’I think, with the crystals they have now, getting two spots in the top 10 is confirmed; however, getting four spots is almost impossible.’

Some might think that even Veyric’s team, which was one of the strongest teams, collected only 30,000 crystals.

And if each participant in Thorne’s group kept 55,000 crystals each, it would easily guarantee a spot in the top 10.

But the thing is, Veyric’s team was not seriously hunting the Elemental Beasts; instead, they were keeping track of the participants who were crazily accumulating the Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals.

So, some strong participants could easily have more than 50,000 crystals, and since it is the last day of the first round, the crystals would change hands before ending up in the hands of the strongest cultivators.

’I am guessing having at least 100,000 crystals each will guarantee a spot in the top 10.’

Of course, it was Ajax’s estimation, and it was also the reason why he kept 100,000 crystals aside for himself.

That’s right!

Before meeting Thorne, Ajax farmed for the crystals and accumulated a total of 300,000 crystals.

Of those, Ajax had given 200,000 crystals to Thorne’s team as he promised.

’I know how important the Divine Elemental Potion is for Thorne, and I am sure he is not that greedy.’

Despite knowing Thorne for a short while, Ajax could tell that Thorne was not greedy. If he was, he would not have given an Elemental Spirit Revival Potion to his senior brother.

’I am sure he must have some plan.’

Therefore, Ajax was curious about what Thorne was planning and asked, ”Are you planning to do something else?”

Thorne didn’t answer Ajax; instead, he smiled before shouting out loudly, ”Sister Nyra, I know you are watching us. Why don’t you come out and have a talk with me?”

With Thorne’s sudden shout, not only Ajax but Flint, Garrett and Bess were also startled.

Before they could ask Thorne anything, the space around them fluctuated slightly.

A ghostly figure slowly emerged from the distorted space.

’A ghost?’

Ajax raised his brows and observed the ghostly figure that appeared out of nowhere.

It was an Elemental Spirit with a dark, translucent body that looked like a combination of a ghost and a humanoid creature.

Its body constantly flickered as if it could disappear at any moment, while two eerie blue flames burned within its hollow eye sockets.

A faint dark aura continuously surrounded its body, making it look extremely mysterious.

”Brother Thorne, looks like you struck rich.”

As soon as it appeared, the ghostly Elemental Spirit looked at the two huge piles of Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals and spoke.

However, it was not actually the Elemental Spirit speaking.

It was the Summoner named Nyra speaking through her Elemental Spirit.

”It’s thanks to Brother Ajax.”

Thorne gave the entire credit to Ajax, which was a fact.

Ajax, however, was still staring at the ghostly Elemental Spirit with a shocked expression.

’How did it appear without me sensing it?’

Ajax couldn’t sense its presence before it appeared.

Even with his powerful Divine Spirit Consciousness, he had failed to detect it.

This made Ajax take the ghostly Elemental Spirit seriously.

”Brother Ajax, even though Brother Nyra’s Elemental Spirit can conceal its presence, its attack and defence are extremely weak.”

Seeing Ajax’s shocked and serious expression, Thorne guessed what he might be thinking and quickly explained.

”Hmm.”

Ajax nodded his head.

’It is to be expected.’

If an Elemental Spirit had such powerful concealment abilities while also possessing powerful attack and defence, it would become the sole ruler of the universe.

However, Ajax’s curiosity didn’t disappear.

Instead, another question appeared in his mind.

’Why are all the Elemental Spirits in this universe so unique?’
