New Age Of Summoners

Elemental Beasts are similar to the Elemental Spirits that are born in places where the Essence of Nature is rich.

However, there were many differences between the Elemental Spirits and Elemental Beasts.

Elemental Spirits are only born in the Elemental Spirit World, which could only be entered by someone in their Spirit Consciousness Form, whereas the Elemental Beasts are born in the Elemental Source Lands and some other special regions, which cultivators could enter in their physical forms.

Another difference was consciousness.

When it comes to spirit consciousness, Elemental Spirits are no different from humans who can think and make decisions. And of course, once they form a contract with the Summoner, they could grow along with him.

Whereas in the case of the Elemental Beasts, they can’t do what the Elemental Spirits are capable of, as they are driven by the primal instinct to kill.

’Especially when they encounter Summoners, they want to kill them.’

From Thorne, Ajax learned that the Elemental Beasts could become powerful by devouring the Summoners and their Elemental Spirits.

’As they kill and devour the Elemental Spirits and Summoners, other than becoming powerful, they would gain a tiny bit of intelligence.’

Clearly, Ajax could tell that the Flaming Monkeys had killed and consumed Summoners and Elemental Spirits before.

Otherwise, it doesn’t explain how they were able to gain intelligence and even cooperate with other Flaming Monkeys in fighting the Summoners.

’If only we could form a contract with them, it would have been nice.’

However, Ajax shook his head as he had already tried earlier, and it couldn’t work.

The moment he tried to form a contract with one of the Elemental Beasts, it exploded like a watermelon.

’All the Elemental Beasts are said to be connected to the place they were born. So, it is indeed true.’

Ajax shook his head and looked at the Flaming Monkeys that other participants avoided.

’Kee…ke….kech’

’Keech…keeh’

.

.

.

Seeing Ajax enter their territory and not even showing signs of leaving, the Flaming Monkeys were excited.

Even though they had a meal not long ago, with their numbers, it barely filled their hunger.

After their meal, they noticed no one was coming to their territory and now, seeing someone enter, they were obviously excited.

’It’s time to farm for unlimited Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals.’

As for Ajax, he was also excited about the incoming Flaming Monkeys.

Even though there were fewer participants in the Fire Terrain, there were always a few participants who were farming for the Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals in the same region as Ajax.

Moreover, the number of Elemental Beasts in each region was limited, and they were quickly farmed.

Despite the fact that Ajax was the one who got the most kills in each region of the Fire Terrain, the other participants’ farming made him lose some crystals.

However, here, there was no one, and the number of Flaming Monkeys was so large that Ajax was excited.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Ajax waited until the dozens of Flaming Monkeys came closer to him before casually but repeatedly punching through them.

Each punch created terrifying shockwaves that instantly vaporised dozens of them.

Very quickly, crimson Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals continuously flew into Ajax’s Spirit Ring like rain.

’So many Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals in just a single minute.’

What took him hours to collect in the past took only a minute.

It not only excited him but also motivated him.

Thus, Ajax began his farming in the Flaming Forest, punching the Flaming Monkeys to death while collecting the Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals.

…..

Time silently passed.

One day…

Three days…

Five days…

Very quickly,

Eight days passed.

And during those eight days, Ajax became one of the most terrifying existences within the entire Fire Terrain.

Thousands upon thousands of Fire Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals accumulated inside his Spirit Ring.

’No matter how many I kill, the Flaming Monkeys keep coming like there is no end.’

Amidst his fighting, Ajax realised why other participants were completely avoiding the Flaming Monkeys.

There were times when he wanted to just rush out of the Flaming Forest; however, he could not as he was constantly surrounded by them.

Nevertheless, with Ajax’s stamina, which greatly increased due to his Divine Body Cultivation, he was not at all tired despite fighting for eight days straight without any rest.

At the same time, Ajax’s terrifying combat style also completely shocked countless participants.

”He still hasn’t summoned his Elemental Spirits?”

”How is his body so terrifying?”

”He is directly fighting inside molten lava lakes…”

”That monster is treating the Fire Terrain like his personal hunting ground.”

”Are you sure he’s a summoner?”

From time to time, participants who passed through the Flaming Forest would see the havoc Ajax was creating and were thoroughly shocked.

After all, compared to the other participants who carefully formed teams and used coordinated attacks, Ajax simply used his bare body to slaughter Elemental Beasts.

Not only that, he was fighting for so many days without any rest, like a madman.

What’s more, he was inside the regions where even Fire-type Summoners didn’t dare to go and confront the Flaming Monkeys.

Gradually, many participants who originally planned to target Ajax quietly abandoned those thoughts.

After witnessing Ajax casually tearing apart Lava Giants and crushing Volcanic Fire Pythons with his bare hands, they realised something.

Provoking Ajax was no different from courting death.

However, not everyone gave up.

In fact, a few participants became even more excited after witnessing Ajax’s terrifying farming speed.

After all, everyone knew Ajax currently possessed an absurd number of Fire Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals.

As long as someone successfully robbed him, that person would instantly secure a spot within the top ten rankings.

”Keep hunting that way, and we will have more Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals.”

Among those secretly observing Ajax, two individuals revealed especially greedy gazes.

One of them was the silver-haired young man, Kael Draven.

”My Bloodfang Clan needs at least three Divine Elemental Potions to suppress that Raith Spirit Clan.”

The other was the crimson-eyed young man from the Bloodfang Clan, Veyric Bloodfang.

Both of them silently stared toward the distant volcanic region where Ajax was currently hunting the Flaming Monkeys.

And slowly, dangerous smiles appeared on their faces.
