New Age Of Summoners

Champions contest!

It is the biggest contest in the Zrochester province where young genius cultivators will be invited to join it.

Even though many will be injured or killed every year. All the young genius cultivators who were invited by the royal family will join it.

As for the reason, it was for the rewards.

As long as one entered the top 10, they will be given a good reward which will either help them in their cultivation or assist them in the battles.

So, when the protector Olek said it is the reward time, then everyone stopped thinking about other things and focused on the protector Olek.

”I know you were very curious about my rewards to them but I will make you wait for some time.”

The protector Olek maintained the  same slight smile on his face as he looked at King Stephen draton and said, ”What is your royal family going to give him?”

Since the champions contest was originally conducted by the royal family, they should give the rewards to the top 10 participants.

”We will not dare to compare my royal family’s rewards with the protector’s rewards.”

Stephen draton stood up from his royal chair and continued saying, ”However, since the champions contest is the traditional event of my royal family, we will give the best items from my royal treasury.”

As soon as he finished his words, Stephen draton appeared on the stage.

”Alhan, this is for you.”

Without wasting any time, he took a black-coloured assassin god’s statue out of thin air and gave it to Alhan, who is ranked tenth.

”Thank you, your majesty.”

When he saw the statue, Alhan was not surprised because it was not a secret for the assassin sect that the royal family has 3 statues in their possession.

So, he took it with an excited look on his face.

Even though he was ranked tenth, with this statue in his hands, he was satisfied. Also, there is another reward from the protector Olek that will be good.

”Brer….a combat technique crystal which was lost with the passage of time.”

”Arkor...a peak heaven grade ’Fire sword’.”

”Heave grade Enlightenment crystals are for Fearless gorilla, Dark flame, Silver goliath, Heavenly Raven, and King killer. Since you didn’t want to fight one another, I am assuming you five members have the same level of battle prowess and I will give an enlightenment crystal to each of you.”

King Stephen continued to give rewards one after another; however, for the personal disciples of the vagrant cultivators, he decided to give the same type of reward.

”Thank you, your majesty, for such a great item; however, giving 5 enlightenment crystals for us is a waste. Why don’t you change two of our rewards to something else.”

Fearless gorilla, as his name suggests, was fearless and asked Stephen draton to change two of their rewards.

Enlightenment crystal, when it is used, will help the cultivators to understand the mysteries of their cultivation techniques, skill, weapon dao, and there is even a small chance of comprehending the laws of the world.

However, in his lifetime, a cultivator can only use these crystals three times. After that, there will be no use other than wasting such a valuable crystal.

Even though they were five cultivators, actually, not only these five but their other four brothers and sisters were all considered as a single entity.

So, for these nine cultivators, they only need three enlightenment crystals. That is the reason why Fearless Gorilla asked the King to change two of his rewards.

”...”

Everyone became speechless when they heard the Fearless gorilla’s words and could not help but whisper among themselves which made Stephen draton angry.

If not for the protector Olek, he would have killed Fearless gorilla for being audacious in front of him.

”Take four mid-level spirit stones.”

Nevertheless, the King threw four mid-level spirit stones at Fearless Gorilla while taking back the two enlightenment crystals.

”As for the second-ranked Levi, you can enter the sacred pool of the royal family which will be opening in a week from now and the time limit is one day.”

After changing the rewards, he didn’t bother with the Fearless gorilla, and looking at Levi, the king announced the reward for him which caused a heated discussion in the onlookers.

The sacred pool of the royal family is very beneficial to any cultivator below level 10 elite general realm.

Even if a level 9 elite general realm cultivator enters the sacred pool for a few days, he would definitely come out as a level 10 elite general realm cultivator.

So, one can imagine how valuable that sacred pool is in the royal family that even the vagrant cultivators or other powers didn’t have any resource close to the sacred pool.

However, the sacred pool requires tons of resources and even the royal family uses the sacred pool once a year or once in two years depending on their resources.

Generally, they will open a week after the completion of the champions contest. So, Levi was given a one-day pass to enter the sacred pool.

”I hope you will at least increase your cultivation by two minor realms. So, don’t disappoint me and your master.”

With a slight smile on his face, Stephen draton completed his rewards for the nine participants and Ajax was the only one remaining.

”Ajax, since your cultivation is only level 1, you can enter the sacred pool for an entire week  until we close the sacred pool.”

Soon, the king took out a golden-coloured talisman with two words ’Sacred pool’ on it, and gave it to Ajax.

”Thank you, your majesty, b...”

’Ding,

The system suggests the host not reject or change the chance to enter the sacred pool for a week. Even though you don’t have any use for the sacred energy, some of your elemental spirits or contracted spirit beasts can use this chance to awaken or get enlighten.

’Ding,

Other than improving the cultivation realms, the sacred pool has many mysterious effects on different beings.

Since the pure essence of nature can’t help him in breaking through in his cultivation realms, Ajax wanted to change his rewards to something else just like Fearless gorilla; however, the system interrupted him and explained that the sacred pool is an invaluable treasure.

”That is only one of your rewards, you have other rewards too.”

Stephen draton took out an enlightenment crystal, two mid-level spirit stones and gave it to Ajax.

”These are for me?”

Cultivating inside the sacred pool for a week is already considered a huge reward. So, when he received enlightenment crystal and mid-level spirit stones, Ajax was surprised but he didn’t hesitate to take them.

As soon as he took them, Ajax threw them in his inventory.

”Yes, and there is another reward for you.”

Stephen draton maintained the slight smile on his face as he thought for a second before asking Ajax, ”Which weapon do you want? A spear or a sword?”

”Another reward?”

When they heard their king’s words, all the onlookers were completely shocked because they felt Stephen was rewarding Ajax a little too many things which made them think that Ajax was his illegitimate son.
