New Age Of Summoners

1921  Heavenly Blood

ʼI have spent everything on the preparations and it has already started.ʼ

Looking at the overflowing Blood Pond, Maximusʼ emotions were complicated.

For Maximus, today is the day he could achieve his dream or die in the process of achieving it.

Nevertheless, he was not afraid of death.

If he was afraid, he would have long submitted to Ajax just like the other two rulers of the Floating Island.

”Master, we have activated the Blood Pond but what happens if that ruler wonʼt enter the region?”

Maximusʼ right-hand man, Moore, looked into the distance and calmly asked with a thoughtful look.

Moore was not just a right-hand man, he was also Maximusʼs minister who mostly took care of managing the region and other things that needed intelligence.

However, right now, while Moore was busy taking care of the things for the upcoming invasion from the new ruler of the Floating Island, Maximus directly made a move.

And that move was none other than activating the Blood Pond.

Even the idea of using the Blood Pond entirely goes to Moore and he was a little worried that his Master was a little bit anxious and activated the Blood Pond a little early.

”...”

Maximus froze when he heard Mooreʼs words; however, he quickly recovered and replied, ”Donʼt worry, since that new ruler has decided to make a move now, he will be entering the Water Region.”

”If the new ruler had used his rulership to challenge me, he might have defeated me because I have more or less the same strength as Aveline.”

Maximus has decided to think positively and thus, he was not worried too much about whether the enemy would be entering the Water Region or not.

Moreover, to boost his confidence, Maximus tried to mock Ajaxʼs intelligence.

”Master, sorry to tell you this, but if the enemy doesnʼt enter the Water Region, the Heavenly Blood flowing out will enter our bodies and I donʼt think I should explain what are the consequences if it happens?”

Moore was not anxious, or frustrated at Maximusʼ actions; instead, he reminded Maximus about the consequences of the failure.

ʼLetʼs only think positive.ʼ

Maximus silently muttered to himself as he waited for Ajax and his army to enter his region.

ʼ...ʼ

After hearing that reply, Moore remained silent and he was ready to bear the consequences with his master.

Not only Moore, but Maximus had many such loyal followers who knew how dangerous the newly arriving enemy was.

Nevertheless, they were standing with Maximus and swore to give their best in making their Master the Sole Ruler of the Floating Island.

ʼLetʼs hope the Heavenly Blood from the overflowing Blood Pond will kill the enemy.ʼ

With that thought in mind, Maximus and his loyal followers hoped for the best.

…

”Master, when dealing with the Veiled Vampire Emperor, we need to be careful.”

”He is very cunning and could cleverly bend the rules of the Floating Island in his favour.”

On the other hand, as Ajax was flying towards the Water Region with his Father, Siora, contracted spirit beasts and Elemental Spirit, the two newly contracted spirit beasts warned him about Maximus.

”Also, there is a rumour that he had an artifact that lets him exchange things with his ancestor from the Heavenly Bestial Realm.”

After hesitating for a moment, Rosaline shares another important thing with Ajax regarding Maximus.

”I really hope that the rumour is true.”

However, when he heard Rosalineʼs words, Ajax was not afraid in the least; instead, he was a little happy.

”What?”

Both Rosaline and Oberon were shocked at his masterʼs words; however, they shook their heads and decided not to think much about it.

They were really curious about exactly how powerful Ajax was.

Even though they knew Ajax was powerful and even submitted to him, they had never seen him in action during the past year and were curious about it.

”Anyway, continue to clear all the unevolved Spirit Beasts.”

While travelling from the Fire Region to the Water Region, Ajax was clearing the unevolved spirit beasts along the way.

Of course, it was his contracted spirits and the Elemental Spirits who were fighting and Ajax was looking at the progress of his summons.

Other than Ajaxʼs summons, his Father Aron also fought the unevolved spirit beasts to test his battle prowess.

After going through the serious cultivation, Aron had awakened not one or two or three…but five Divine Rules in a single go.

Divine Fire Rule, Divine Water Rule, Divine Metal Rule, Divine Wind Rule and Divine Earth Rule.

When Ajax first learned about Aronʼs five Divine Rules, he was thoroughly shocked.

However, he knew the reason behind Aronʼs shocking Five-Divine-Rule awakening and it was because of Aronʼs Extraordinary Celestial Body that he gained after creating a new body.

ʼThe Celestial Cultivation Body is definitely scary.ʼ

Awakening the Five Divine Rules was one thing; however, each one of these Divine Rules has already reached an awakening percentage of 5 percent.

ʼFather is not using the Giant Fire Crystals I provided, saying that it would cause a disturbance between his Five Divine Rules.ʼ

Of course, other than taking his sonʼs help in creating this new body, Aron no longer received any help from his son for his cultivation.

It was not that he was embarrassed to take help from his son; instead, he felt there was no need to do so.

His cultivation speed was much faster and among his five Divine Rules, all he had to do was increase the awakening percentage of one Divine Rule with his cultivation and the remaining four Divine Rules would increase.

If he used external cultivation resources to increase the awakening percentage of one of his Divine Rules, it would not break the synchronization effect between the Five Divine Rules, which was also a reason for not seeking Ajaxʼs help.

ʼAt this rate, Father will be ascending to the Heavenly Realm much faster than me.ʼ

Ajax was not jealous of his Father; instead, Ajax was proud and really hoped his father to be much stronger than him.
