New Age Of Summoners

1550 Conquering in the Floating Isalnd

Time continued to pass on the Floating Island and one month passed by in a flash.

”Master, we have successfully conquered the three small tribes around our city.”

Snow and the remaining two re-cultivated spirit beasts replied to Ajax with an exciting smile on their faces.

”How many of them surrendered?”

Ajax was arranging some ingredients in his room as he asked his contracted spirit beasts.

”Unlike the Primordial Orcs, no one from those three small tribes surrendered, master. Therefore, we donʼt have any choice other than killing them.”

Raweth replied in a calm tone.

Not only Raweth, but even Snow and Sparrow were also calm as though killing everyone from the three small tribes was nothing in their eyes.

”Sir Ajax, they were not humanoid beings like us; instead, they were driven purely by their madness to kill everyone who was not from their race.”

There was a three-meter muscular orc with a battle axe on his axe beside the three re-cultivated spirit beasts.

He explained why no one surrendered despite being massacred.

”Continue conquering the small tribes. If they surrender, let them live and if they donʼt, donʼt hesitate to kill them.”

Ajax stopped being nice after experiencing how cruel the worlds are. If you donʼt have enough strength, you donʼt know when you will get killed.

Therefore, it was necessary to be cruel in order to survive in this harsh world while constantly increasing your strength because there would always be someone more powerful than you in this universe.

”Yes, Master.”

”Yes, Sir Ajax.”

The three re-cultivated contracted spirit beasts nodded at Ajaxʼs orders before leaving with the Primordial Orc to search for more small tribes that were close to the tribe that Ajax and his army settled in.

After taking care of the Hagravenʼs scouting team, Ajax and Siora moved as far as possible before finding a small tribe belonging to the Primordial Orcs.

Even though they looked muscular and even had the cultivation of the mid-level emperor realm, they were instantly subdued by Ajax and Siora.

Before Ajax could even ask them to become his followers, the leader of the Primordial Orc excitedly requested to become Ajaxʼs follower.

In the Floating Island, he needed to fight the powerful cultivators from the nearby tribes and got invaded by the powerful emperor realm spirit beasts who knew where they came from but the moment they invaded his tribe, there would be at least 50 percent casualties.

Therefore, when he saw how powerful Ajax and Siora were, the Primordial Orc decided to become their followers and use their help to develop his tribe and make his tribe powerful.

As for Ajax, he didnʼt mind the Primordial Orcʼs plans for his tribe because the system had added him to his followersʼ list.

ʼOnce a follower, follower for a life.ʼ

This was the systemʼs reply when Ajax asked what the chances of a follower betraying him.

Therefore, he let down his guard and started focusing on the things that he entered the Floating island for.

”Even though I have many plans before entering the Floating Island, they were changed after I got chased by the Hagravenʼs scouting party.”

Ajax muttered to himself and thought, ʼTo survive in this Floating Island, I need to become powerful and have a powerful territory. For a start, the small tribe is not a bad option.ʼ

Compared to one month before, Ajax felt he had a good base to put his plans into action.

”Once Snow and others either kill or make all the intelligent races surrounder, I can release all my elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts to kill the mindless spirit beasts in the floating island.”

Ajaxʼs first plan was to secure as much territory as possible in the Floating Island and create a somewhat safe environment for his army to train within that territory.

Even though there were emperor realm mindless spirit beasts everywhere on the Floating Island, Ajax was not worried much about them.

However, what Ajax was afraid of were the intelligent races that could come up with a surprise or sneak attacks while he or his army focused on training.

Therefore, his first preference was to secure a territory and gather as many mid-level emperor realm cultivators as Primoridlal Orcs or if possible, even turn the high-level emperor realm cultivators into his followers.

At that time, he would have a certain level of safety against the huge cities like Hagraven City that nearly got them killed if not for Ajaxʼs trump cards.

ʼI donʼt know how many cities as powerful as Hagravenʼs city are on this floating island; however, I am sure there are more.ʼ

Since Hagravenʼs city could casually send the powerful cultivators with the cultivation of high-level and mid-level emperor realms for scouting, Ajax could tell they were more high-level emperor realm cultivators inside the city.

Hence, to survive for the next seven years, Ajax felt he needed to have a strong force that could make any of these powerful cities think twice before making their move on him.

”I think Siora is cultivating as the essence of nature in this floating island was not bad.”

Even though the essence of nature on the floating island was not as good as in the Greater worlds, it was a little better than the normal worlds.

Moreover, they could stay on the floating island for seven years. So, it was not a bad thing to cultivate in a single place for seven years before leaving the floating island.

ʼHer cultivation would progress by seven years; however, in reality, only seven days would pass.ʼ

Ajax put his adventure in the floating island or Mythical grade treasures on hold as he had a lot of time on his hands.

ʼAs long as I secure a good footing in this Floating Island, even if I donʼt get any treasures now, I might get the treasures during my second or even third visit.ʼ

He was not in a hurry to get the treasures and looking at the nearly arranged ingredients around him, Ajax muttered, ʼI think I will start practising my alchemy.ʼ

Becoming a King grade alchemist was also one of his goals in entering the floating island and during the past month, he had arranged 1000 sets of ingredients for the three alchemy recipes he bought in the traderʼs realm.

Therefore, he finally decided to start the practice while Snow and others increased his territory.

...…

[Essence Recovery Pill Recipe]

Once he decided to focus on his alchemy, Ajax took the easiest king-grade pill recipe.

As long as he refines the Essence Recovery Pills three times in a row, he would officially claim himself as a King grade alchemist.

Of course, those who became the King grade alchemists with the ʼessence recovery pillsʼ, would be considered the lowest grade King Alchemists.

Moreover, their success rate in refining the king-grade pills would be less than 10 percent even for the easiest pills like ʼessence recovery pillsʼ

As for the high-grade pills, it would be impossible for these low-level King-grade alchemists to refine.

”For now, my goal is to become a King grade alchemist. As for whether it was a low or lowest level, I donʼt care.”

The reason why Ajax wanted to focus on Alchemy again was to fulfil one of his requirements in breaking through to the Emperorʼs realm.

So, he didnʼt care much about what level of Alchemist he would become for now.

ʼOnce I become an Emperor realm cultivator, I can increase my success rate by continuously refining the King realm pill recipes.ʼ

Without wasting any time, Ajax looked at the batches of ingredients to refine the essence recovery pills.

ʼDing,

Pill Name: Essence Recovery Pill.

Ingredients required: Harpy feather, Essence fruit and Baleful water.

Since it was the lowest grade pill in the King Class pills, the materials required to refine it were also not rare.

However, they were relatively high-priced compared to the ingredients that Ajax bought in the past.

ʼNevertheless, I only spent less than a couple of millions on 1000 sets of ingredients for each pill recipe.ʼ

Since Ajax had more than one billion traderʼs tokens and was still earning more traderʼs tokens from selling the world cores, he didnʼt hesitate to spend a couple of millions on buying the required ingredients.

”The refining process for this king grade pill is also the same as the previous pills I refined; however, I have to find exactly how much essence of nature I have to inject and the heat control is different.”

Ajax muttered the process and tried to refine the rank 6 pills for practice.

ʼDing,

The host has successfully refined a batch of rank 6 pills.

ʼDing,

The host has successfully refined a batch of rank 6 pills.

ʼDing,

The host has failed in refining a batch of rank 6 pills.

He refined a rank 6 pill three times. Two were successful and one ended up in a failure.

”Itʼs not bad.”

Ajax was satisfied with his success rate and muttered, ʼSince the practice is completed, itʼs time to refine the king-grade pill.ʼ

Soon, he picked the first set of ingredients and started separating the essence from them before merging.

ʼThe intermediate fire refinement technique is good because I can separate the essence from even the King grade ingredients without any failure.ʼ

Because of his intermediate fire control refinement technique, Ajax easily separated and merged the essences from three ingredients.

ʼBoomʼ

Just when Ajax thought everything was going smoothly, the merged essence exploded and the refining process ended up as a failure.

ʼDing,

The host has failed in his refinement and gained 1 experience point. (1/ 1000000).
