Chapter 1175 - Divine Dragon Undergoes The Lightning Tribulation

Actually, Ajax wanted to use his protectorʼs title to stop the lightning tribulation; however, he was stopped by the system that said if he got involved with the lightning tribulation directly, the divine dragon would die in the first lightning flash.

Because, currently, Ajax is an emperor realm expert in the grey dwarf world and the lightning tribulation would be powerful enough to kill an emperor realm expert, not to mention the divine dragon that was yet to enter the King realm.

So, Ajax rejected the thought of meddling with the lightning tribulation directly; instead, he chose to send two elemental spirits below the King realm to assist the divine dragon.

”Okay. I hope everything goes as I expected.”

After hearing the systemʼs confirmation, Ajax decided to have some faith in the system.

In other words, he didnʼt want unexpected things to happen.

ʼRumbleʼ

Soon, clouds in the sky turned pitch-black as they collided with one another before merging into a huge black-coloured cloud that was filled with lightning arcs.

ʼHere it comes.ʼ

Within no time, the tribulation cloud was ready as Ajax could sense the powerful lightning flashes ready to land on the divine dragon anytime.

ʼSwooshʼ

Just as he finished his words, Ajax saw a powerful lightning flash coming out of the tribulation cloud.

ʼSwooshʼ

However, before it landed on the divine dragon, two small portals were very close and parallel to one another; however, the lower portal was a few inches away from the dragon.

Soon, the upper portal sucked the lightning flash and directed it into the ground a few inches away from the dragon using the portal beneath it.

ʼRoarʼ

Even though the first lightning flash was deflected a little, Prophis was very careful not to deflect it a little away from the divine dragon because it would only anger the tribulation cloud.

The divine dragon only received half the damage as he roared in pain.

Here, the plan was not to completely teleport the lightning flash; instead, it was to decrease the power of the lightning flash and help the divine dragon in escaping the critical hits by the lightning cloud.

So, Prophis only helped the divine dragon to escape the critical hit.

ʼRumbleʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

Within no time, the second lighting flash came out of the tribulation cloud as it rushed towards the divine dragon at an incredible speed.

ʼUltimate weapon creation.ʼ

This time, it was Cerauno, the lightning elemental spiritʼs turn to help the divine dragon. So, he used his basic skill that turned into a powerful skill after many battles.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as he used that skill, thousands of all types of weapons appeared in the air above him.

ʼBoomʼ

In the next second, all the weapons merged into a powerful lightning spear.

ʼShudʼ

ʼRoarʼ

Just as Cerauno created a huge powerful-looking lightning spear in the air, the second lightning flash landed on the divine dragon, making it roar in pain.

However, the power of the second lightning flash was very less compared to the first lightning flash.

ʼDisperse.ʼ

With a satisfied smile on his face, Cerauno dispersed his lightning spear.

ʼWell done, Cerauno.ʼ

At the same time, Ajax and Prophis were surprised at the capability of the lightning elemental spirit as they congratulated him.

ʼItʼs nothing, summoning.ʼ

First, Cerauno shook his head at Ajax with a slight smile on his face and next, he looked at Prophis and asked, ʼSo, is it your turn or should I use my skill to decrease the lightning energy from the lightning flash once again.ʼ

Thatʼs right!

Earlier, Cerauno used his skill ʼUlitmate weapon creationʼ to reduce the lightning energy from the lightning flash.

When he used that skill, Cerauno needed a lot of lightning energy from his surroundings to create the weapons. The more powerful and denser the lightning energy around him was, the more powerful and quicker the weapons would form.

Since the lightning flash had both powerful and pure lightning energy, Cerauno was able to create thousands of weapons in a split second and used even more lightning energy to combine all the weapons to become a single powerful weapon.

Because of that, the second lightning flashʼs power reduced greatly; however, still, it was powerful enough to make the divine dragon roar in pain.

ʼThis is my turn.ʼ

However, why would Prophis let the lightning elemental spirit contribute so much? Without any hesitation, he rejected Ceraunoʼs words as he created another two small and parallelly aligned portals to split a small portal of the lightning flash to the ground again.

Third lightning flash, the divine dragon successfully survived.

Fourth lightning flash, Cerauno used the same skill to reduce the energy of the lightning flash.

Fifth…

Sixth.....

Within no time, six lightning flashes landed on the divine dragon and as long as it survived another lightning flash, the divine dragon had no problem in becoming an official elemental spirit.

ʼPhew...there is not a single injury so far. This is going as I expected.ʼ

After every lightning flash, Ajax would check the injuries on the divine dragonʼs body; however, after finding that there were no injuries except for a few broken dragon scales, Ajax heaved a sigh of relief.

ʼHowever, this last one is taking so much time to come out of the tribulation cloud.ʼ

Nevertheless, what made him worried was that the seventh lightning flash, which was also the last lightning flash, was taking so much time as though the tribulation cloud was preparing some powerful lightning flash before disappearing.

ʼProphish, Cerauno, this time, you will both help him.ʼ

ʼTwilight, you have to endure it. As long as you endure it, you will become an official elemental summoner.ʼ

Since the lightning cloud was preparing a powerful lightning flash for the divine dragon, Ajax was also making his own preparations.

His preparations included motivating the divine dragon and ordering the two elemental spirits.

ʼYes, summoning master.ʼ

ʼYes, master.ʼ

Along with the two elemental spirits, the divine dragon also nodded his head because he knew what he was going to achieve after enduring the last lightning flash was Heaven-defying.

ʼGoodʼ

Seeing the confidence in the divine dragon, Ajax nodded his head as he muttered, ʼYou can do it.ʼ

Ajax was sure that even without the help of the two elemental spirits, the divine dragon would have endured the first six lightning flashes; however, Ajax didnʼt want to take any risks.

Moreover, unlike the other lightning tribulations, the current lightning tribulation was different as the lightning flashes are not used to temper the body because unlike the lightning tribulation that generally appeared when a cultivator was progressing to another major realm in his cultivation, this lightning tribulation was different.

So, these lightning tribulations would not be giving any kind of benefits to the one who is undergoing the lightning tribulation.

ʼIf this lighting tribulation gives any benefits, then I would have not interfered with it and let the divine dragon have all the benefits.ʼ

Ajax knew what he was doing as looked at the tribulation cloud in the sky and muttered, ʼCome out, already.ʼ

ʼRumbleʼ

Just as he finished his words, a powerful purple-coloured lighting flash came out of the tribulation cloud as it rushed towards the divine dragon.
