New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1153 - [Bonus ] Planning To Groom More Grey Dwarves

In the grey dwarf world.

Ajax didnʼt have a slight clue that two demon emperors were coming for him and as he woke up from a good nightʼs sleep.

Despite the fact that nothing happens to him even if he didnʼt sleep for a whole month, Ajax just wanted to sleep because he could not cultivate just by circulating his main cultivation technique.

Instead of worrying about the things all the time, Ajax decided to stop worrying about them because he would be having many devourer eagle kings soon and his main worry of not able to travel multiple worlds would be solved.

ʼI think it will break into the king realm after a couple of days.ʼ

Since the devourer eagle generals were only ordered to eat the low-level obsidian naga king corpses, it would naturally take them some time.

As for the high-level demon kingsʼ corpses, they were stored for the divine dragon and the devourer eagle king who was on the verge of breaking through to the mid-level king realm.

”There are still some 12 hours for the grey world to upgrade into a normal grade world.”

Checking the time, Ajax knew the world still required 12 hours to upgrade. So, he decided to check the nearby dwarf towns because the weapon refining contest would be starting soon.

With that thought in his mind, Ajax freshened up as he flew to the nearby dwarf town.

…..

In one of the dwarf towns.

”Who do you think will win this contest from our town?”

”Who else? Other than Elmnol, there is no one among the young generation that would win this contest?”

”What about Mozma and Bulum? They were also not bad and can give good competition.”

”Yeah, but compared to them, Elmnol has good weapon refining skills and he even has the potential to reach the Emperor level weaponsmith just like Rurbeak.”

”Hey...hey. You are giving a high evaluation for a kid that never refined a Heaven grade weapon once; however, Mozma and Bulum had refined the low-level heaven grade weapons multiple times.”

”He will refine a weapon only when he has 100 percent confidence that he will be successful.”

Before Ajax could reach the nearby dwarf town, the weapon refining contest for the young dwarves had started and everyone was looking at the young dwarves that were refining the weapons.

Since he was the protector of the grey dwarf world, Ajax was able to hear the conversations of the elders of the town he was planning to enter even before he could enter.

ʼThatʼs right! I didnʼt say what they would have to do if there were multiple young dwarves that showed good weapon refining skills.ʼ

Hearing the conversation of the elders from a distance, Ajax thought of a problem and while thinking of a solution for the problem, he entered the town on his ancient protector sword.

”Everyone, the protector is here. Show your respects.”

One of the old dwarves, who seemed to be the town leader, shouted at everyone as he fell to his knees and said, ”Greetings, protector.”

”Greetings, protector.”

Following the town leaderʼs actions, the rest of the grey dwarves fell to their knees as they greeted Ajax with a respectful look on his face.

Other than the young dwarves who was too focused on refining the weapons, almost everyone greeted Ajax.

”Hello everyone, you can stand up and continue watching the contest.”

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax asked them to stand.

If it was the old Ajax, he would have been not so comfortable with so many people kneeling in front of him; however, things changed as he got used to things like these.

In the past, he felt people only fell to their knees while greeting others because of fear; however, during his journey, he learned that it was a way of showing respect in many tribes and races like grey dwarves.

”Thank you, Protector Ajax.”

While thanking Ajax, everyone stood up as they created a path for Ajax to walk nearly to the contest. So that he could see it more clearly.

ʼTapʼ

ʼTapʼ

Ajax walked to the front as he started walking the young dwarves refining the low-level heaven grade weapons.

The winner will be decided on who will refine a low-level heaven grade weapon in the shortest possible time.

Also, each individual will be given three chances because even a King realm weaponsmith only has a 99 percent success rate in refining the heaven grade weapons not to mention a few young dwarves who rarely refined low-level heaven grade weapons.

ʼNo wonder, the grey dwarves excel in the weaponsmith.ʼ

Looking at the same but strong bodies of the young dwarves, Ajax nodded his head as he got the full clarity because it was his first time watching a grey dwarf refining a weapon in front of him.

ʼI think I should change my plan of grooming 100 grey dwarves.ʼ

For the entire time, Ajax was thinking about the problem he had in his head regarding the multiple young genius grey dwarves and he found a simple solution.

ʼInstead of one winner, why donʼt I announce three winners?ʼ

Once he thought about it, Ajax started thinking about the pros and cons of his slight modification in his original plan.

ʼOther than the fact that it would cost more resources to train 300 grey dwarves for weapon refining, I canʼt think of any disadvantages.ʼ

Ajax didnʼt think of a single dwarf town for the modification in his plan; instead, it was for all the 100 grey dwarf towns. So, taking three winners from each town, it would be 300 grey dwarves, he had to focus on grooming.

So, of course, it would cost him three times the resources he needed from his original plan.

ʼSince I will be having more devourer eagle kings under my control, I can explore more worlds, in return, I can gather more resources lke rare metals and other things.ʼ

Even though it would cost him a fortune to groom three grey dwarves, when Ajax thought about the eight more devourer eagle kings, he didnʼt feel it was much of a problem for him.

Although he said that he would be exploring more worlds, it was more like either destroying or conquering them.

ʼMoreover, with more grey dwarves to groom, the competition will be more and they will take the training very seriously.ʼ

Ajax thought there would be more and more advantages for training the 300 young grey dwarves compared to the 100 of them. So, he finalized his decision to choose three winners from each town during the contest.

ʼInstead of one, pick three winners from this contest; however, keep it as a secret until you announce the results.ʼ

Ajax felt he had watched enough of the contest and more or less knew the three winners of the contest. So, he decided to leave.

However, he didnʼt forget to say about the change in the contest rules to the town leader.

ʼHuh?ʼ

The twon leader was surprised to hear Ajaxʼs words in his head and looked at Ajax before slightly nodding his head as though he understood what he had to do.

ʼGood. I am leaving now.ʼ

Ajax left the town as he flew to each and every town on his protector sword.

ʼRoarʼ

All of a sudden, Ajax felt a roar coming from the inner world, making him excited.
