Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 1843: Chapter 617: Legendary Weapon Enhancement!

The Blacksmith Shop now only had Cao Xing and Harold.

The blacksmith spoke first, ”Lord, is there anything else you need?”

Cao Xing nodded and said, ”Indeed, there is one more thing.”

Saying this, he took out two strange items from his backpack, looking like scales from some colossal creature.

The one on the left was deep blue, exuding an intense chill as if it could freeze the very air.

The one on the right was dark purple, infused with vast Crystal Power, like a magnificent piece of art.

These two items were scales from the Ancient Giant Dragons Zhuoma and Karakato.

The notes on them indicated that only a Legendary Forger could make equipment out of them.

Now, Harold had finally reached this realm.

”Help me take a look at these two scales,” Cao Xing said.

The Dwarf Blacksmith immediately became serious and carefully took them over.

Harold stretched out his calloused hands, gently stroking the scales as if feeling the Power contained within.

A moment later, a look of shock emerged in his deep pupils.

”What terrifying scales!”

”The Power contained in these two scales far exceeds my imagination!”

”Even in our Dwarf Kingdom, we have never seen materials so precious, it’s unbelievable!”

Harold exclaimed in amazement, then asked, ”Lord, are you planning to forge these two scales?”

Cao Xing slightly nodded and said, ”Yes, do you have any ideas about what kind of equipment these two scales could be forged into?”

Hearing this question, the Dwarf Blacksmith fell into deep thought.

A moment later, he replied, ”Such advanced materials, I’ve never come across in my life.”

”But I have read about some legends in books before.”

”Legend has it that by using the toughest scale from a demigod-level Giant Dragon, combined with the Delimo Divine Stone, Pure Fragment, and a substantial amount of Star Meteorite Bar, one can awaken Divine Power within the scale and forge a Legendary-level Round Shield.”

”Another saying is that if one can collect the toughest scale from at least four Divine-level Giant Dragons, combined with a substantial amount of Delimo Divine Stone, one might forge a Demigod Artifact Level War Armor!”

”Of course, these are just recordings in some XX, and the truth cannot be verified. I used to read them like fairy tales.”

After listening, Cao Xing’s pupils flickered slightly, his heart also rippling with emotion.

The scales of a demigod-level Giant Dragon can be used to forge a Legendary-level Round Shield.

And scales from Divine-level Giant Dragons, four of them can be used to forge a Demigod Artifact Level War Armor.

Although these are just legendary records, since they are recorded, it means there must have been successful cases.

”And the two scales I have... are neither Demigod nor Divine, but scales from a True God-level Giant Dragon...”

”If they were to be forged into a shield, at least it would be a Demigod Artifact, wouldn’t it?”

”Or perhaps... a legendary Divine Artifact?”

Thinking of this, Cao Xing’s heartbeat slowed for a moment.

After all, up to now, the most he had were a few pieces of Legendary Equipment, and only the Old King had a Demigod Artifact!

Let alone more terrifying Divine Artifacts!

The power contained in equipment of this level has already exceeded Cao Xing’s imagination.

But he was also aware that forging such a shield would undoubtedly be extremely challenging.

Just the two required materials, ’Delimo Divine Stone’ and ’Pure Fragment’, he hadn’t even heard of.

And this is just for forging ’demigod-level Giant Dragon scales’.

The scales in Cao Xing’s hands are from a True God-level Giant Dragon.

The two are on completely different levels.

Seeing Cao Xing’s thought process, Harold said, ”Lord, if you want to forge these two scales, I suggest you make a trip to our Southern Continent, to the Dwarf Kingdom’s capital.”

”Hmm? The capital of your Dwarf Kingdom?” Cao Xing couldn’t help but repeat.

”Yes.”

Harold nodded and said, ”Although I don’t like those arrogant folks, I must admit that their forging skill is top-notch across the continent.”

”In our Dwarf Capital’s ’Soul Forger Association,’ there are more than one Legendary Forger, and the association’s president is unfathomable.”

”If they see the two scales in your hand, they will surely be very interested.”

”They might even go to great lengths to help you gather the materials needed to forge the most perfect equipment.”

Cao Xing once again wore a look of doubt in his eyes, ”Help me gather materials, is there really such a good thing?”

Harold chuckled, with a meaningful smile on his face.

”Yes, just like I mentioned before, for forging masters like us, creating different advanced equipment is essential to increase our Experience.”

”However, ordinary materials and blueprints are easy to find, but precious blueprints and top-tier materials are hard to come by.”

”To enhance their skills and push their limits, they would vie to forge such rare equipment, even at great costs.”

Pausing for a moment, Harold continued, ”Besides this reason, there’s another important one.”

”These blacksmiths often engrave their names on the powerful equipment they create.”

”Including the Legendary Dagger and Longsword you just had me enhance, each has the forger’s name inscribed on it.”

”Their names will become legendary along with these weapons!”

”Even if it’s the top-notch scales you have, let alone demigod-level Giant Dragon scales, they would all scramble to forge them.”

”For all forgers, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity worthy of pouring everything into it!”

After hearing Harold’s explanation, Cao Xing understood the significance of forging a piece of Legendary Equipment for these forgers.

Besides the increase in Forging Experience, it’s an opportunity to make a name in history.

For those Dwarves who proclaim themselves the best in forging skills, it is indeed an irresistible allure!
