Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 1372: Chapter 468: Legion Assembled, Target—Ancient Battlefield!

As the popularity of this discussion thread gradually increased.

More and more people joined the discussion and posted all kinds of information they had discovered.

Some even dug up a video from about two months ago, right before that explorer couple’s death.

This further confirmed the authenticity of the thread.

However, what they didn’t know was that undead creatures were already a common monster in this world.

Just like goblins or snow monsters, they could be encountered everywhere.

After so much discussion and various so-called evidence.

The result was forcibly concluded by them, that these undead were related to the expansion pack.

”Brothers! The clues are already very clear, I bet the next expansion is definitely the Undead Calamity, if not, I’ll livestream eating two pounds of excrement!”

”Then I’ll also bet, if not, I’ll livestream stripping the pants off the subjects and eating their **.”

”Stop betting, since we’ve already guessed the next expansion’s enemy, we need to prepare accordingly.

”Everyone can hoard a large amount of items for dealing with undead, like Holy Light Potions, Holy Light skill books, recruitment scrolls, and so on. By the way, I’m selling a lot of Basic Holy Light Potions here, they increase damage to undead by 5%, now only 2000 Ice Dragon Marks per bottle, buy quickly!”

In no time, many commercially sharp Survivors Lords almost instantly rushed to the market next to the territory.

Then they began a massive purchase of all kinds of items for dealing with undead.

In the markets of the Four Districts, some items were swept clean in a short time!

Including Holy Light skill books and equipment, the prices all skyrocketed.

...

...

At this moment, Cao Xing was unaware that his action led so many people to firmly believe the next expansion pack is the Undead Calamity.

And it also sparked a frenzy of market hoarding.

He was still waiting for the arrival of Duke Baladin.

At this moment, someone sent Cao Xing a message.

Yao Yiming: ”Cao Xing, are you there?”

Cao Xing replied: ”Hmm, what’s the matter?”

Yao Yiming said: ”It’s nothing, I just heard it seems like the next expansion pack is the Undead Calamity, so I want to remind you to prepare a bit.”

Cao Xing was slightly stunned when he heard this.

”How do you know the next expansion pack is the Undead Calamity?”

Yao Yiming replied: ”Apparently someone posted a thread, and also uploaded a picture showing many undead appearing.”

”And some people from other major districts also posted various pictures of undead they found.”

”Now in the chat channel, everyone is discussing the next expansion pack.”

”Items in the market for dealing with undead are almost sold out.”

Cao Xing became even more puzzled when he heard this.

Then he quickly opened the world forum and took a glance.

At a glance, he saw that very popular thread, with clicks even exceeding 20 million!

When he saw the so-called photos and truth above, his mouth twitched...

”Damn, isn’t this just Duke Baladin and them?”

At this moment, Cao Xing also realized that it was precisely because of Baladin’s actions that triggered this discussion.

He couldn’t help but mock in his heart: ”These dumb survivor’s imaginations are really vivid.”

After a moment, Cao Xing replied: ”I know, don’t follow them in hoarding these equipment and materials, the next expansion pack is not the Undead Calamity.”

Yao Yiming felt a bit strange but didn’t ask much and simply said.

”Okay, I understand, thank you for the reminder, Cao Xing.”

Although he didn’t know why Cao Xing was so certain.

But now, this figure, as the number one in the Four Districts.

Even as the first in the millions of survivors in the last Battle of the Oracle, being called the first in all servers wouldn’t be an exaggeration.

His words obviously carried more weight than other survivors.

After they closed the private chat.

Cao Xing shook his head helplessly.

At the same time, he was also pondering whether to reveal that the next expansion is the Bloody Army?

After thinking, he decided not to.

After all, not even he knew what kind of creatures the Bloody Army were,

Nor did he know their strength.

There was no use in saying it now.

Just then, Cao Xing suddenly felt a chill sweep over him, causing goosebumps to instantly prick up on his skin!

The temperature in the territory suddenly dropped four to five degrees as well.

Meanwhile, a long-dormant aura of death wafted through the air.

This aura signified death.

His gaze turned beyond the territory, where a vast sea of moving blue could be seen.

It was Duke Baladin leading the Undead Army!

”They came so quickly, this duke’s efficiency is really high!” Cao Xing exclaimed in admiration.

As soon as the undead stepped into the range covered by the Melting Furnace in the territory, a system prompt appeared.

[Ascalon Undead: Duke Baladin requests to visit your territory, do you agree?]

”Yes.”

Meanwhile.

The moving sea of undead advanced rapidly towards Cao Xing Territory, mighty and grand!

From afar, on the snowy ground, tens of thousands of undead figures swirled!

Carrying the aura of death as they closed in swiftly.

The cold air that seemed to freeze one’s blood filled the atmosphere!

Everyone within the territory stopped whatever they were doing, instinctively gripping their weapons.

Although the undead led by Duke Baladin weren’t high in level, the oppressive feeling was undeniable.

Cao Xing also led his legion quickly to the outside of the territory to wait.
