Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 1352: Chapter 462: The Treasure Box in the Nest

After successfully contracting the Griffin King.

Cao Xing struck while the iron was hot and contracted other griffins,

using one [Expert-level Pet Contract Scroll] after another.

[Contract failed...]

[Contract failed...]

[Ding! Contract successful, Gale Griffin lv56, Sixth Rank Leader Level creature has joined your territory, population +4, prosperity +50]

...

As the system prompts continued to sound.

One after another, the boss and elite-level griffins were enlisted under Cao Xing’s command.

Territory prosperity and population were also continuously rising!

Even if there were one or two stubborn ones, they directly surrendered under the onslaught of Cao Xing’s dozen or so scrolls.

It took about five minutes to subdue all the adult griffins.

Cao Xing then targeted the little griffins.

Moreover, because these little griffins were not high-leveled, the success rate of the expert-level scroll on them was significantly increased.

It took about two minutes to also bring all the juvenile griffins into the territory!

At this point, the entire Griffin Nest became Cao Xing’s possession.

Cao Xing clapped his hands, overjoyed.

At this current stage, having a single griffin as a mount is already something to brag about!

But as for Cao Xing?

He took down an entire Griffin Nest!

Even with the foundation of those kingdoms, such a feat would be difficult to achieve.

Although they could capture so many griffins,

taming them would require a lot of time!

Unlike Cao Xing, who captured and tamed them on the spot.

This is simply beyond imagination.

Meanwhile.

He quickly glanced at the small remaining piece of Soul Suppressing Fragrance in his hand.

The burn time on it had only five minutes left.

He hurriedly blew it out.

This thing is truly a treasure, it might come in handy later.

Carefully storing it in his backpack.

Cao Xing said: ”Go into this Griffin Nest and see if there’s anything good.”

He hadn’t forgotten, besides capturing these griffins, he still had a mission to complete.

Everyone dispersed, starting to search around this huge Griffin Nest.

While Cao Xing himself went straight to the Griffin King.

At the moment, it was lying on the ground weakly.

Seeing Cao Xing approaching, its eyes showed a conflicted look.

After all, the human before him was the enemy of its entire clan.

Even enslaving all the griffins.

However, it seemed unable to muster hatred towards this human.

Of course, this was due to the contract scroll.

Nevertheless, the Griffin King did not want to submit.

From its Loyalty just over 50, it’s clear that given a chance, this Griffin King would rebel and flee at the first opportunity.

Cao Xing didn’t waste words with it, directly pried open its big mouth, and stuffed a [Special Pet Food (Purple)].

Just like all other pets,

the Griffin King’s expression changed from initial indifference and rejection to wide-eyed amazement.

Feeling the delicious taste in its mouth, it directly swallowed it.

”Gulp...”

[Your pet: Griffin King lv61 successfully used pet food, Loyalty +10, current Loyalty: 61]

...

Seeing the prompt, a smile appeared on Cao Xing’s lips.

And at that moment, the Griffin King was looking at him eagerly.

It seemed to want more of that delicious taste.

Cao Xing did not hesitate.

He dropped dozens of pieces of pet food, forcibly maxing out its Loyalty.

After reaching maximum, the Griffin King’s gaze toward Cao Xing no longer held the slightest trace of hatred!

It had become extremely respectful!

”Coo...coo...”

The Griffin King lay on the ground, emitting joyful low sounds towards Cao Xing.

Forming a stark contrast with its previously rebellious demeanor!

Cao Xing happily said, ”Since you are the Griffin King, from now on you’ll be called Old Wang.”

[Pet: Griffin King named successfully, changed to: Old Wang]

”Blub...”

The Griffin King responded lowly from the ground, seeming very pleased with the name it was given.

Cao Xing glanced over its attributes.

[Cao Xing’s Pet: Old Wang]

[Talent: Wind Affinity]

[Bonds — Gale Griffin (100 activated)]

[Status: Severe Injury, Bleeding]

...

...

”Oh? This Guardian Wings can also protect friendly units, taking damage.”

”This effect is really good!”

With the Griffin King’s massive Life value, it indeed can be used as a meat shield.

Moreover, as long as it is under the protection of [Guardian Wings], there’s no worry of it suddenly being targeted and instantly killed by enemies.

With a look of joy.

Cao Xing cast an [Ice Healing Skill] on it, allowing it to recover slowly.

He also got Andrew to cast a [Life Blossom].
