Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 1232: Chapter 427: Battle of the Oracle Begins!

[Faction Mission: In the next month, you will gain command over the branded monsters near the crystals, leading your legion to guard the Giant Dragon Crystal and the Main Crystal from being destroyed by the Four Camps.]

(Note: As long as there is a Giant Dragon Crystal on the field, the Main Crystal remains invincible.)

[If the Main Crystal is destroyed, the mission fails.]

[Remaining Giant Dragon Crystals: 100,000]

[Remaining Main Crystal: 1]

...

”Is this really my faction mission? Ridiculous!”

”Am I really expected to rely on a single army to fight against tens of millions of Survivors Lords!”

”Damn it, and I need to protect the crystals; can a human even manage this?”

Cao Xing couldn’t help but complain in his heart.

However, the only good news is that the monsters of the Giant Dragon Camp, the branded monsters, will follow his command.

But still, facing so many survivors is overwhelming!

After all, it’s not a million; it’s ten billion!

Even a spit from each person could drown him!

But since it’s already chosen, Cao Xing has no regrets.

At worst, just go for it!

After all, dying here is not real death!

At the same time.

System Prompt continues to appear.

[All survivors have made their choice, teleporting now...]

As soon as the prompt ends, it’s as if the mist clears, and everyone’s vision returns.

They see themselves suddenly appearing thousands of meters in the sky.

Looking around, the entire world seems shrouded in a purple mist!

The sky is dark purple, and the clouds are dark purple.

Even the distant mountains, earth, and rivers are dark purple!

Moreover, the entire world seems crystallized!

The earth is crystal clear, and the mountains resemble exquisitely crafted artworks.

Seeing this from mid-air, the survivors were instantly shocked by the scene before them!

”Wow! Crystal World, this is so cool!”

”Is this the world polluted by Dragon Power? Not a single tree, complete desolation.”

”Guys, are those mountains crystal mines? Should we dig? If the whole world is a crystal mine, we’d be rich!”

”Upstairs, are you dreaming? These are crystals formed after being polluted by Dragon Power, even getting close would harm you severely, let alone mining!”

”...”

At this moment, Cao Xing, upon regaining his vision, was equally stunned by the sight.

But he quickly gathered himself.

He knew this was the system giving everyone time to adjust.

What he needed to do was to memorize the terrain of this plane as quickly as possible.

Otherwise, it would be challenging to defend the so-called crystals against so many attackers.

Looking around.

Cao Xing found that this special plane was indeed vast.

As far as he could see, it was endless, with no boundaries in sight.

The crystal-like ground extended in all directions, with dark purple mountains rising and falling.

And at the horizon, a dark purple mist shrouded everything.

It was as if a special barrier enveloped this world.

Somewhat resembling the structure of a round heaven and square earth world.

After observing the terrain of this plane.

Cao Xing’s heart sank.

Because he realized this plane was an open world.

Besides some crystal mountains, there were barely any terrains he could use for defense.

”Trouble...”

This meant he would have to fight in various open fields against the survivor armies.

Under attack from all sides, there was no way he could defend against the offensive from so many directions with his power.

Not to mention, he also had to protect the crystals from being damaged.

Although feeling a bit heavy-hearted, Cao Xing did not give up.

He quickly began surveying other locations.

At the center of this world stood a towering crystal thousands of meters high, constantly emitting dark purple lightning.

From so far away, he could hear the crackling sounds!

It was like the heart of the world, containing some mighty and vast power.

Cao Xing pondered, ”This should be the Main Crystal mentioned by the system.”

And surrounding this Main Crystal, there were numerous purple crystals.

However, these crystals were much smaller, only a hundred meters tall.

These were the [Giant Dragon Crystals].

Almost every dozens of kilometers, or even every ten kilometers, had a Giant Dragon Crystal.

And around each Giant Dragon Crystal, there were dense black dots.

Cao Xing focused and found that these black dots were all distinct, with monsters of various sizes.

These were the branded monsters mentioned by the system.

Cao Xing instantly felt a surge of joy, ”Wow, there are actually so many branded monsters.”

”It seems this battle is not hopeless after all.”

He previously thought he would have to fight alone.

Now, with the help of so many branded monsters.

And having command over these monsters gave him a glimmer of hope in an almost hopeless situation.

Apart from these Giant Dragon Crystals.

Cao Xing also saw that at the four corners of this world, stood four magnificent Giant Cities!

These four Giant Cities were beyond imagination in size!

Their walls soared into the sky, as if built by Divine hands, forming ironclad barriers.

Inside the cities, the area was overwhelmingly vast, with streets wide as plazas, and everything inside was colossal.

Conservatively estimated, each Giant City could hold tens of billions of people!

The concept was beyond words.

And at the center of each Giant City was a towering statue of a Goddess.

They seemed to be the Divine embodiment that guarded this world.

And corresponded to the four True Gods!

Cao Xing instantly understood.

”These four Giant Cities are the safe points for the survivors, aren’t they?”

”Which means, they might launch their attacks from these four directions.”

”And my task is to stop the attack of these hundreds of millions of Survivor Lords.”

It was exactly as he had guessed.

Through the sky, countless meteors were descending in the directions of these four Giant Cities.

”Buzz~ Buzz Buzz~!”

Hundreds of billions of meteors turned into meteor showers, streaking through this dark purple world.

They looked incredibly beautiful.

Survivors exclaimed in midair.

”Yahoo! Mom, I’m flying to the sky!”

”I’m a Parachute Commander, join me as we soar through the skies!”

”Paratrooper One, ready!”

The meteor showers continued to descend.

Then landed steadily on the streets of the four Giant Cities, turning into human figures.

However, among them, there was one meteor heading towards the area where the Giant Dragon Crystal was located.

Some sharp-eyed survivors also noticed this scene.

They were immediately astonished!

”Wow, did you see that, guys? One meteor didn’t teleport to the Four Main Cities, but flew towards the Giant Dragon Crystal area.”

”Whoa! It really did! Did this guy fail to choose a faction and got dumped by the system into the Dragon’s Den?”

”Poor guy, let’s have a moment of silence for him.”

...

At the same time, Cao Xing, after descending for a dozen seconds,

finally landed on the ground with the large troop.

”Shhh... Crack~!”

Upon landing, he heard a constant cracking sound around him.

As if the ground was continuously eroding into crystal fragments.

[You have entered the special scene: Crystal Land, affected by the power of Dragon Erosion, Life Limit decreased by 20%, Attack Power decreased by 20%]

[As you are a Dragon Camp creature, this negative effect is immune.]

[A crystal barrier has automatically been applied to you and all allied creatures, allowing safe movement in the Crystal Land except for the Four Main Cities.]

...

At the same time, the over a thousand combat personnel brought by Cao Xing also regained their sight.

They all looked up, filled with wonder at this dark purple world.
