Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 1214: Chapter 422: The Final Day, Preparations Before the Battle!

[At 00:00, a protective shield will be raised for the top ten thousand territories in the points leaderboard of each district, and all Lords will be teleported to a special plane. All Survivors must return to their territories in the designated time.]

[Weather forecast: Light breeze today, temperature -47℃~-53℃, suitable for going out.]

...

...

The System Prompt on the last day was different from the previous ones.

The Survivors of the Four Districts immediately started a heated discussion.

”Wuhu! Finally, it’s the last day! Nine days have greatly expanded my Legion’s strength. I can’t wait to show my skills.”

”Damn, is it the last day already? I’m still three thousand points short of assembling a Wild Boar Warrior Army!”

”I’m also short a few thousand points to form a new Silver Hand recruit legion; hope there’s still time today.”

”Hahaha! My Hyena Poacher army is finally formed. Brothers of the Four Districts, pray that you don’t encounter me, or remember to protect your butts!”

”Brother upstairs, do you need a proctologist?”

”...”

...

Meanwhile, Cao Xing and Liu Muxue also woke up simultaneously in the Lord Mansion.

They glanced at the system prompt.

Cao Xing took a deep breath and said: ”Muxue, today is the last day. There’s quite a lot to do, so I’m not going out.”

”You, Bojie, and Assam will split into three groups.”

”Try to earn as many points as possible before the challenge ends.”

Hearing this, the beauty next to him clenched her fist tightly and said solemnly: ”Mm mm! Don’t worry, Axing, we’ll earn lots of points!”

Cao Xing also smiled lightly.

The two got up together and quickly washed and groomed themselves.

A few minutes later, they walked out of the Lord Mansion together.

Just as they had arranged earlier.

Liu Muxue, Bojie, and Assam each led a team and majestically left the territory.

In the territory, only the guarding Wild Boar Warriors and other workers remained.

Cao Xing first glanced at the system prompt above his head.

[Zhuoma’s Claw challenge ends at 17:32...]

Cao Xing thought: ”At midnight tonight, the system will lock in positions and initiate teleportation.”

”I need to take most of the combat personnel, leaving a part to protect those workers.”

”And the remaining workers need to hurry and construct the territory while we’re gone.”

”That is to say, I need to arrange the work for the next month before midnight.”

So, Cao Xing pressed the communication device on his ear and asked: ”Kandar, how’s the situation at Lanpuli Cave?”

Kandar respectfully reported: ”Strong Lord, the work at the stone cave is going smoothly.”

”The entire mine tunnel is now opened up, and the workers have reduced the risk of getting lost inside.”

Cao Xing continued to ask: ”Have they started mining?”

”Yes, they have started.”

Kandar replied: ”Our Polar People and Goblins are working hard. I told them eight hours a day is enough, but they insist on working twelve hours.”

”These past few days, they’ve collected a large amount of Frost White Crystal Stone and some other ores.”

”Currently, twelve transportation vehicles are there, and six of them are already full.”

Upon hearing this, a satisfied look appeared on Cao Xing’s face.

”Very good. After noon today, have the Polar People bring back all the ores in a batch.”

”Then I’ll have someone prepare two months’ worth of supplies for you.”

”You should return to the territory as well; I’ll send others to ensure their safety.”

Although a protective shield will rise to protect the territory once Cao Xing and others leave.

Creatures within the territory can still move in and out freely.

Just like during the newbie protection period.

Kandar also knew that Cao Xing was heading to a new battlefield.

”I understand, strong Lord, I’ll notify them immediately!”

After arranging the matters at Lanpuli Cave.

The communication device in Cao Xing’s ear buzzed with static.

Harati’s somewhat solemn voice came through.

”Honorable Lord, there’s good news.”

Cao Xing was slightly stunned, then replied: ”Harati, go ahead.”

”About 80 kilometers from our territory, on the edge of a mountain cliff, we found the location of a Griffin Nest.”

”It’s a fairly large Griffin Nest, with over 130 Griffins of all sizes inside...”

Upon hearing this, Cao Xing’s eyes lit up instantly.

Wow, there are so many?

If they could be taken down at once, his Griffin Knight Group would be assured.

He even wanted to immediately gather people and take down this Griffin Nest!

Harati continued: ”However, there’s a bit of a difficulty. The nest is located near a cliff several kilometers high, where there’s always a strange air current that makes it hard to enter the nest easily.”

”In addition, there’s a very powerful presence in the Griffin Nest...”

Cao Xing’s eyes showed an understanding look.

Looks like it’s too late to tame that group of Griffins today.

He replied: ”Understood, Harati, just bring the other Centaurs back first.”

”As you command.”

After cutting off communication with Harati.

Cao Xing intended to dial Fitz Walker’s line but was prompted by the system.

[The contact you are trying to reach is beyond the maximum communication distance...]

...

Cao Xing was taken aback, then seemed to remember something.

”Almost forgot, I’m using a small communication device, with a maximum distance of only 500 kilometers.”
