Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 772: Chapter 299: Sand Sculpture Players and the Battle of Dorun Lake City (6200)_3

In this world, having survived for so many days, they all understood one essential survival element.

Survivors cooperating in teams was much safer than fighting alone.

However, you had to find someone you could trust.

Even though this Black Wind Army wasn’t particularly famous,

Compared to the natives of this world, they were still fellow human survivors, which felt more familiar.

Other survivors who hadn’t arrived yet or were still waiting and watching were curious.

They all asked, ”Brothers upstairs, what’s the situation over at Dorun Lake City, has the fight started?”

”Yeah, yeah, I’ve seen quite a few people heading to Dorun Lake City, what’s the situation?”

Xuan Yuan Xiaogang replied, ”No fighting yet, the Ice Crystal Kingdom’s army has already arrived, but they haven’t launched an attack, and we’re not sure what they’re doing.”

Other survivors in Dorun Lake City also responded, ”Yes, when we went to ask those officers, they told us not to rush, just to find a place and wait.”

”I estimate they’ll probably launch an attack by tomorrow.”

Hearing these statements, other survivors also showed a look of realization in their eyes.

”I see, I thought the fight had already started.”

”Yeah, yeah, their giant city has been occupied, yet these troops are really holding back.”

Xuan Yuan Xiaogang continued, ”But speaking of which, the Ice Crystal Kingdom’s army is indeed really strong. This time they brought tens of thousands of soldiers, plus two powerful Knight Orders!”

”Each of those knights is terrifyingly strong. Just a glance shows a bunch of question marks, probably at least Fifth Rank strength. The soldiers are just as outrageous, they’re all Fourth or Fifth Rank, with few third-tier ones.”

”Truly, it’s the Ice Crystal Kingdom, easily showcasing so many powerful individuals.”

Hearing these descriptions, other survivors were all shocked!

For them, forget Fifth Rank; even third-tier was considered strong, and Fourth Rank was completely unbeatable!

And now, these over twenty thousand soldiers were all starting at third-tier at the minimum!

Those knights, even starting at Fifth Rank!

This force, even if all the survivors of Zone 17 united, they still wouldn’t be a match.

Of course, except for Cao Xing.

As a kingdom, it governed vast territories with a large population, which naturally had such a foundation.

And others in Dorun Lake City also said, ”That’s not all! Didn’t you see those large war machines in the army?”

”Catapults, battering rams, I even saw two cannons with a bore diameter of over a meter!”

”A cannon of this size, I feel like it could directly blast a mountain to pieces!”

After hearing this, the chat channel was once again filled with exclamations!

”Whoa, with such a strong force in the Ice Crystal Kingdom, why aren’t they launching an attack? What are they waiting for? If it were me, I’d fire a cannon right there and let the Knight Order charge in to flatten the city!”

”We are not sure either, but I think those cultists are definitely no match for the Kingdom Knight Order; it shouldn’t be too dangerous in this situation.”

”Damn, with so many strong individuals, if I had such power, I could have a life even happier than the Emperor in this world.”

”Upstairs +1, I’m with you.”

”If I had such strength, I’d definitely save money and then live it up in Eternal Frost Main City. I’ve heard there are taverns and some venues there that even have the Elf Clan serving you.”

”Damn, is what the brother upstairs said true? I’ve always wanted to know what it’s like with the Elf Clan!”

”Of course, it’s true, let me tell you...”

As they chatted, the conversation veered off-topic with these players.

Just then, a survivor from the [Black Wind Army] spoke again, saying, ”Everyone, I’ve just received some insider information: tomorrow afternoon, the Kingdom Knight Order will launch their official attack!”

”This time, the kingdom’s army is well-prepared and powerful; it’s sure to be a crushing victory.”

”We just need to follow and finish off stragglers to gain experience and honor points.”

”Brothers looking to earn some honor points, come quickly!”

Hearing this, the survivors realized something.

”Yeah, with the Ice Crystal Kingdom’s army strength, they can easily defeat those cultists. This favorable situation generally isn’t dangerous and brings many benefits.”

”Ha ha, brothers, let’s go, taking out these cultists not only brings lots of experience but also souls, Heart of Power, and honor points!”

”I’m in, brothers; whether I can get a beachfront villa depends on this time!”

”...”

The survivors were excited. In the dead of night, a large group began to move, ready to head to Dorun Lake City.

They feared going late and missing the opportunity.

Just then, a statement caught everyone’s attention.

Cao Xing: ”Everyone, those going to Dorun Lake City to join the battle, hold on a moment.”

The chat channel fell silent for a moment.

As the recognized number one in Zone 17 who had claimed the top spot in the ranking challenge twice.

The name Cao Xing was quite influential.

”Brothers, it’s the big shot Cao Xing, he’s actually speaking!”

”Ha, it’s rare to see him speak in the chat channel.”

”Indeed, but when the big shot speaks, it’s usually something important to announce.”

”Brothers, stop spamming the chat and look at what the big shot Cao Xing has to say.”

”...”

After the lively chat channel calmed down a bit.
