Evil MC's NTR Harem

Chapter 418 Swing

Faith Richards hadn’t expected to meet Ross Oakley himself, but there he was, seated in a grand office that screamed wealth and power.

The room was an extravagant display of success, with fine leather furniture, gleaming gold accents, and walls lined with rare art pieces.

It was the kind of setting designed to leave an impression—and it did.

As soon as her eyes met Ross’s, she immediately pegged him as a man who carried immense pride, someone who wouldn’t take kindly to being crossed.

In her experience, men who surrounded themselves with such ostentatious displays of their achievements were often petty and deeply territorial.

Yet, something about Ross was different.

There was a commanding presence about him that made it hard to dismiss him as just another egotistical businessman.

”Hello, Mr. Oakley. Thank you so much for your time,” Faith said with a polite smile as she took her seat.

”I thought I’d only be meeting with one of your managers. It’s strange to be treated so differently.”

Ross didn’t respond immediately.

Instead, he leaned back in his chair, his sharp eyes studying her as though he could read her every thought.

Faith felt the intensity of his gaze, and despite the polite smile she wore, she couldn’t ignore the tension in the room.

The large mahogany desk between them felt like her only shield, but it wasn’t enough to diminish the effect of Ross’s presence.

He was a towering figure, his broad, muscled frame adding an almost sharp edge to the room.

Even seated, he seemed to dominate the space.

Faith resisted the urge to shift in her chair.

She wasn’t easily intimidated, but there was something undeniably overwhelming about being alone with a man like Ross Oakley.

She could feel the sheer force of his personality in the air between them, and it was both intimidating and strangely magnetic.

”It’s interesting to hear you say that, Miss Richards,” Ross said, his tone calm but laced with a subtle edge.

”Since you were young, you’ve always been treated better because of your status and beauty. Surely, you must be used to it by now. But let’s move on to more important matters. What can I do for you today, Miss Faith Richards?” He asked the question, though his sharp eyes made it clear he already knew the answer.

Faith straightened in her seat, her usual poise taking over.

”I’m here to ask for your help. The Good Samaritan Charity is a children-focused organization that works tirelessly to improve the lives of underprivileged kids,” she began, launching into her practiced pitch.

For the next five minutes, she outlined the charity’s goals, the impact it had already made, and its desperate need for support.

To her relief, Ross listened in silence, allowing her to finish without interruption.

”We would be grateful for any assistance you could provide, Mr. Oakley,” Faith concluded, her tone earnest and sincere.

”No amount is too small or too large—anything you’re willing to give, as long as it comes from the goodness of your heart, would mean the world to us.”

Ross leaned forward slightly, resting his elbows on the desk as his piercing gaze met hers.

”The Good Samaritan Charity,” he mused, as though turning the name over in his mind.

”Faith, I wonder just how much more you’re willing to sacrifice for the infinite kindness you seem to carry in your heart. You’ve already spent your entire inheritance on this cause, haven’t you? And now, you’re living on the edge of poverty, residing in that modest two-story building that also serves as your charity’s headquarters.”

Faith’s composed expression faltered slightly, but she quickly masked it.

”Truth be told,” Ross continued, his voice softening slightly, ”I admire women like you. Your determination, your willingness to give everything you have for what you believe in—it’s rare.” His gaze lingered on her, taking in her striking features and elegant attire.

Though she was dressed impeccably for the occasion, he knew her current circumstances were precarious at best.

He also knew the reality behind her charity’s survival.

Her stunning beauty had drawn countless wealthy donors eager to impress her, but such support was fleeting.

Beauty, after all, was temporary—at least for mortals born of ordinary origins.

For a moment, silence hung in the air, and Faith felt a shiver run down her spine.

There was something disconcerting about the way Ross spoke, as though he could see through every layer of her carefully constructed facade.

She had come here seeking help, but sitting across from Ross Oakley, she couldn’t help but feel like she was the one being evaluated.

”What exactly are you saying, Mr. Oakley?” Faith asked, her tone sharp as she frowned. Even with the hint of anger in her expression, she was as breathtaking as ever.

Her long black hair framed her face perfectly, and her figure rivaled the beauty of Ross’s own wives. She was, without a doubt, his type.

”I intend to buy you,” Ross said bluntly, leaning back in his chair with a confidence that was almost unnerving.

”How much would it take for you to say yes? Name your price. Anything can be negotiated.”

Faith’s frown deepened as her emotions flickered across her face—anger, disappointment, and finally, a quiet resignation.

Ross Oakley was far from the first man to make such a lewd proposition to her.

”I’m sorry to waste your time, Mr. Oakley,” she said, her voice calm but firm.

”All the money in the world isn’t enough to buy me.”

She stood, her movements graceful but deliberate, and turned to leave the room.

”Five hundred billion. In cash,” Ross said, his voice cutting through the silence like a blade.

Faith froze mid-step, her hand hovering over the doorknob. Five hundred billion.

The sheer magnitude of the number was staggering.

She couldn’t help but imagine how many children she could help with that kind of money, how many lives could be changed.

Her mind raced with possibilities, but her principles held firm, refusing to be swayed by temptation.

Your next journey awaits at .Côm

After a moment of hesitation, she opened the door and stepped out.

She didn’t look back, but as the door closed behind her, she heard Ross’s final words, spoken with chilling certainty:

”I always get what I want, Faith. Always.”

Those words echoed in her mind long after she left the building, a haunting reminder of the kind of man Ross Oakley truly was.
