Wizard: Unlimited Profession Slots

Chapter 1030: Chapter 433: Pioneer Certificate and Prototype Mark I_3

This reminded Ron of an important issue.

In the Wizard World, seniority often trumps talent.

Associate Professors like Chester have been deeply engaged in their respective fields for over fifty years.

”Of course, if one could break through to the Dark Sun Level, it would be entirely different.”

Eve added:

”A Dark Sun Level Wizard is an absolute powerhouse anywhere and can directly qualify for Associate Professor status.”

Ron was not worried about this.

Cassandra had already granted him access to knowledge at the Associate Professor level, so titles didn’t mean much to him.

”Master, there is another topic that might concern you more.”

Eve’s voice became more mysterious:

”I’ve found some detailed information regarding the specific regulations of Otherworld exploration.”

This was indeed one of Ron’s current top concerns.

After breaking through the Moon Level, Otherworld exploration became a realistic option.

”The current Otherworld exploration system is completely different from the ’Plane Great Navigation’ era of the Second Era.”

Eve explained in detail:

”In that era, as long as you had enough power, you could freely traverse spatial channels, and the gains and risks were solely yours.”

”But now, there is a strict management system. Newly promoted Moon Level Wizards cannot explore alone.”

Her tone became more serious:

”Otherworlds generate rule repulsion against outsiders, affecting not only the casting effect but also causing various accidents and dangers; the mortality rate is several times higher than that of the natives.”

Ron listened carefully, as these details were crucial for his planning.

”So initially, Moon Level Wizards can only work at various bases in Otherworlds.”

Eve continued:

”Mainly research work, slave management, equipment maintenance, and other logistical tasks. To perform free exploration, one needs to exchange Contribution Points for a ’Pioneer Certificate.’

”The conditions for obtaining a Pioneer Certificate are very strict.”

She adjusted her technique, making the massage more profound:

”Dark Sun Level Wizards can obtain it directly, but Moon Level Wizards need to pass a combat evaluation to exchange it with Contribution Points.”

”This combat evaluation is quite interesting.”

Eve’s eyes sparkled with humor:

”It doesn’t assess Spiritual Power scale or Magic Power compression ratio, only tests survival capabilities in harsh environments and resistance against monsters.”

”And the testing is conducted using the ’Simulation Combat Device First Generation’ designed by Great Wizard Weinard.”

Upon hearing this name, Ron raised an eyebrow slightly.

”The First Generation, though technically less sophisticated than your improved version, has a very high upper limit.”

Eve explained in detail:

”It’s said to simulate enemies reaching levels nearly akin to a Great Wizard. This was also the key academic achievement for Great Wizard Weinard’s evaluation as a Full Professor back in the day.”

Ron silently recorded this information in his mind and began planning his development path.

Combat evaluation should not be a problem. With his current power level, he can progress through the tests without much difficulty.

The key is how to maximize the opportunity of Otherworld exploration.

”Master, are you thinking about something?”

Eve’s voice pulled him back from his thoughts.

The girl was looking at him tenderly, her purple crystal-like eyes filled with concern.

”Just considering some future plans.”

Ron answered truthfully while enjoying the comfort from Eve’s fingers:

”This information is very helpful to me.”

To be honest, the girl’s physique was indeed overly slender.

Years of illness had stunted her growth, and the thighs he rested on lacked muscle, making them somewhat uncomfortable.

Yet, the faint, indescribable special fragrance from her body effectively compensated for this.

It was a pure and healing scent that made one involuntarily relax.

”Master, shouldn’t you be free later tonight?”

Eve suddenly asked, her hands pausing slightly:

”I mean... today is the day Mother promised you to select a treasure; you should have some free time afterwards, right?”

This was indeed today’s main objective.

”Yes.” Ron nodded. ”After visiting the treasury, I’ll sort through the harvest... There shouldn’t be anything else, so I can spend time with you.”

As he spoke, he started organizing his itinerary in his mind:

Once this session’s advanced course is completed, he plans to apply for an academic exchange with the Sand Sea School in the Quicksand Lands.

On one hand, the Star Disc Divination indicated that the hope for his bloodline breakthrough pointed to that extraordinary gathering place with the most dense elemental activities.

On the other, Hayek and the old masters from the Black Mist School are now serving at the Sand Sea School, making it timely for a visit.

After returning from Quicksand Lands, he will first report to Uther at the Abyssal Observation Station, then visit Nari in the depths of the Abyss.

Finally, responding to Weinard’s invitation, he will go to the Otherworld where the latter resides as an assistant and conduct his first Otherworld exploration.

This arrangement will not only yield practical benefits but also accumulate valuable experience, achieving two birds with one stone.

While absorbed in these plans, the aircraft began to slow down.

Eve stopped the massage and got up to tidy her clothes.

”Master, we’ve arrived.”

Her voice carried a blend of expectation and nervousness:

”The Crown Clan’s treasury... even I rarely have the chance to enter.”

Ron opened his eyes and looked through the porthole at the scene outside.
