A pillar of the Orthodox Murim and a prestigious sect among prestigious sects that has produced the most number one under the heavens in history.

Such Shaolin was currently spending a much busier time than usual.

”Welcome. Welcome to Shaolin.”

”You are the Supreme Sword Sect. We will guide you to the prepared guest hall.”

”Nice to meet you. This monk is...”

As you can see...

Countless monks of Shaolin were moving busily to welcome the guests who came to visit.

Although Shaolin is a place of huge scale, since there were so many guests visiting, responding to each one was not an ordinary task.

However, even in the midst of that...

”Oh, it’s the Hebei Peng Clan.”

”They really came.”

Even in such a busy time that eyes and noses could not be opened, there were big shots that could absolutely not be ignored.

The Nine Sects One Gang and the Five Great Clans.

They, who could be called the core axis of the Orthodox Murim, had to be welcomed separately.

”Welcome. This monk is called Myeong-am of Shaolin.”

”You are Master Bul-am. It is the first time meeting you.”

Master Bul-am, Myeong-am.

He is a figure representing the immovable mind of Shaolin to the extent of being called a Buddha made of stone.

As the junior brother of the current Shaolin Abbot, he is a high priest ranking within five fingers even among the elders.

Because the person in front of his eyes was a big shot, the elder stepped forward personally.

”I am Peng Jin-ho, who has come to represent the Hebei Peng Clan, albeit lacking, starting this year.”

Purple Lightning Blade Hero, Peng Jin-ho.

As the current Clan Head of the Hebei Peng Clan, he is a figure who rose to the position of Clan Head at the young age of mid-40s.

Because it was Peng Jin-ho, the Clan Head of the Five Great Clans, the Elder of Shaolin stepped forward personally.

”Amitabha. I greet the Clan Head of the Peng Clan.”

”Where are the others?”

”The Abbot has invited everyone and is sharing tea and conversation.”

”Is that so? Then I must go there immediately as well.”

Showing his impatient personality just as expected of the Hebei Peng Clan, Peng Jin-ho was.

Myeong-am responded to Peng Jin-ho calmly.

”I will guide you.”

”Thank you. Mu-seong.”

”Yes. Father.”

”You lead the family members and wait. Make sure there is no needless commotion.”

”I will keep it in mind.”

Peng Jin-ho, having entrusted the group to his son, moved under Myeong-am’s guidance.

On the way, he asked.

”How many others have arrived?”

”Among the Five Great Clans, the Moyong Clan has not arrived yet, and among the Nine Sects, the Beggar’s Gang and Kunlun have not arrived.”

”Hmm, quite a lot have gathered.”

”That is correct. However, the Beggar’s Gang seems likely to convey their intention not to attend.”

”How is the atmosphere?”

”...Hahaha.”

Myeong-am just laughed bitterly.

How is the atmosphere?

If he were not a person in the Buddhist priesthood, he would have answered clearly.

’It’s a dogfight.’

Like that.

But since he couldn’t do that, he could only swallow a bitter laugh.

And perhaps Peng Jin-ho wasn’t completely tactless, as he didn’t ask further.

’Tsk, it’s obvious.’

Too many cooks spoil the broth.

Since the Nine Sects One Gang and the Five Great Clans gathered in one place, how could it be otherwise?

”It is inside here.”

Peng Jin-ho, having arrived with guidance, let out a sigh.

Perhaps they set up a barrier, so sound was not leaking out. But so what?

Killing intent was densely pouring out like this.

”Haha, if this goes wrong, you might even draw swords?”

”Nothing we can’t do.”

”If you draw, can you handle it?”

”Why do you think I can’t?”

It was a spectacle exactly as expected.

Let’s organize the situation.

Currently, the Jianghu is strong in Unorthodox and weak in Orthodox.

Because of the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor.

But the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor died.

Although there are disciples, the situation has become better for the Orthodox to straighten their backs than when the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor was alive.

So, taking this opportunity, let’s gather all Nine Sects One Gang and Five Great Clans, create a Murim Alliance, and unite as one.

And let’s bring the leadership of the Jianghu back to the Orthodox Faction.

Let’s say the purpose up to this point is good.

However...

”For the Wudang to take the position of Alliance Leader makes no sense.”

”Why does it make no sense? In the past, the last Murim Alliance Leader was Ancestor Jeon-jung of our Wudang Sect.”

”And didn’t that person ruin the Murim Alliance by losing to the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor?”

”What? Did you say everything now?”

”Did I say anything wrong?”

”Then does the Namgung Clan Head intend to take the Alliance Leader position? Do you think you have the capacity for that, sir?”

”Nothing I can’t do. If the Namgung Clan Head here ascends to the Alliance Leader position, our Jaegal Clan will actively support it.”

”Are you saying the Five Great Clans will stick together now?”

”Count our Tang Clan out. No such agreement has been made.”

”Tang Clan Head!”

They are doing this.

They are doing this...

What’s the use if the purpose is good?

There is not a bit of room for unity to be seen.

In fact, even when the Murim Alliance was healthy, who ascends to the Alliance Leader position? Who takes the more important key positions?

There was always friction among the Orthodox regarding this.

’Hahaha. Although I was prepared...’

The Abbot of Shaolin.

Divine Monk Myeong-hyeon lamented while rolling his prayer beads.

It was he who took the lead in creating this gathering in the first place.

It was also he who tried to gather the Nine Sects One Gang and Five Great Clans in Shaolin to create a Murim Alliance.

Naturally, leading this meeting should also be his role. However...

”Are you really trying to do this now?”

”Nothing we can’t do.”

”With that skill.”

”How dare... Come outside!”

A sigh came out naturally, and only one thought occurred.

’There is no answer.’

There should be at least some room for compromise to mediate or whatever.

He didn’t know that those who call themselves masters of the Orthodox Murim would confront each other so tightly without an inch of concession.

Eventually, only after the Namgung Clan Head and the Mount Hua Sect Leader reached the verge of drawing swords against each other...

”Amitabha.”

BOOOOOM!

Along with a low chant, a heavy aura overwhelmed the assembly.

Divine Monk Myeong-hyeon.

His spirit spread heavily and overwhelmed the assembly.

’Is it the Ultimate Buddha Light Illumination?’

’To be this much...’

’As expected of Shaolin.’

Not much was known to the world regarding the martial prowess of Divine Monk Myeong-hyeon, the Abbot of Shaolin.

But right now, at this moment, those facing him could only think the same thought.

As expected of Shaolin.

Like that.

And the Divine Monk, who inevitably intervened with force, frowned and said.

”We are Orthodox factions pursuing righteousness and chivalry, not ruffians of the Unorthodox, so how can we determine superiority by force rudely? If the ancestors who led the Murim Alliance in the past saw this, wouldn’t they lament?”

Actually, in the past Murim Alliance, there was someone who tried to solve most problems by beating them up.

Someone called Radiant something...

”The reason this monk wants to create a Murim Alliance and gather the Orthodox as one is solely to clear the dark clouds of the Unorthodox from this Jianghu and protect the civilians.”

The Divine Monk looked around the assembly and continued with a stern voice.

”But if we fight amongst ourselves before even starting, what would the ancestors looking down from heaven say?”

At his words, the others also fell silent for now.

After coming to their senses a bit, it did seem they had been too blatantly greedy.

”It seems everyone needs time to organize their thoughts. Let us rest today to cool our heads and discuss again tomorrow.”

Thus, the guests, whose excitement subsided due to the Divine Monk’s mediation, all returned to their quarters.

Two days later.

The Clan Head of the Moyong Clan and the Kunlun Sect, who hadn’t arrived yet, also arrived.

Although the Beggar’s Gang was absent, they sent a letter expressing their intention to agree to the formation of the Murim Alliance.

Eventually, the representatives of the Orthodox Murim all gathered in Shaolin. And a full-scale meeting was held.

The result...

”So, this person absolutely cannot agree to the Wudang Sect taking the Alliance Leader position!”

”That doesn’t mean the Namgung Clan Head can take it. Are you not a worldly person, not a Daoist? When the positions of the Alliance and the family conflict, can you be fair?”

”Then are you saying the Wudang Sect Leader can do well because he is a clean Daoist?”

”What are you trying to say right now?”

”You know clearly...”

Uh, they are still doing this.

”Amitabha... Amitabha...”

The meeting is still sluggish.

Only sariras were accumulating inside the Divine Monk’s body.

”Huuuu... What a headache.”

”Thank you for your hard work.”

”Hard work... I wonder if this can be called hard work.”

Jeong Seon, the Sect Leader of the Kongtong Sect, let out a sigh.

Ten days had passed since the Nine Sects and Five Great Clans gathered and entered full-scale meetings for the formation of the Murim Alliance.

But the meetings were still facing difficulties.

The intense debates of the past ten days had only created pointless factions.

There were mainly three factions.

One was those pushing the Supreme Ultimate Sword Emperor, Taoist Hyeon-seong, who is the Sect Leader of Wudang Sect and known to have reached the extreme of the State of Harmony in martial prowess, as the Murim Alliance Leader.

The Emei Sect and Qingcheng Sect, members of the same Nine Sects, actively supported them.

And the second was those pushing Namgung Un, the Clan Head of the Namgung Clan called the Azure Sky Sword King, as the Murim Alliance Leader.

Supported by the same Five Great Clans, especially the Jaegal Clan was very active.

Perhaps both families had discussed separately before arriving here.

While these two factions confronted each other.

A third faction was naturally formed watching from the neutral zone, unable to join in between.

Jeong Seon is also, strictly speaking, that third faction. That is true, but...

”Huuuu... Murim Alliance or whatever, if it’s going to be like this, I’d rather go back.”

The people he faces every day these days are the masters of the Orthodox Faction.

They are the Clan Heads and Sect Leaders leading the Nine Sects and Five Great Clans. However...

”It’s funny. The Alliance hasn’t even been formed yet, and already dividing power...”

Isn’t what they are doing too pathetic?

It was also too much torture to have to join in and keep his seat.

Just when he was suppressing his anger by pressing his throbbing head with his hands...

”Sect Leader, it’s a big problem.”

A disciple opened the door urgently and entered, saying.

”What happened?”

”Senior Brother Yun Gi intends to duel with the scion of the Moyong Clan.”

”......”

Jeong Seon suppressed the curse that was about to pop out of his mouth with desperate cultivation.

Then he gritted his teeth, stood up, and said.

”Guide me immediately.”

While the leaders of the Nine Sects and Five Great Clans gathered for meetings.

The young disciples who accompanied them to Shaolin were gathering amongst themselves to strengthen friendship.

It was not common for this number of people to gather in one place.

It meant that opportunities for rising stars of the same Orthodox Faction to gather and build friendship were not frequent either.

At first, the atmosphere was good.

Hahaha, I have heard much of your renown.

Ah, is that so. I too heard the name of Moyong-something all the way to Sichuan.

Hehehe, don’t say that. You are the one who previously took the head of an Unorthodox...

No. You are more amazing.

Sister, you are so pretty. Etc...

If Patrick saw this, he would have sneered that kids were suffering trying to mimic adults, but in their own way, they were creating a good atmosphere to build good connections.

At first, it was definitely like that.

But as the leaders’ meeting faced difficulties, the atmosphere began to change subtly.

Usually, they say kids’ fights turn into adults’ fights. However...

To put it another way, adults’ fights can sufficiently turn into kids’ fights.

As the leaders began to confront each other, it was difficult for the young rising stars of each sect to treat each other well.

They started to split according to factions gradually, and then began to sharpen their edges and slander each other.

And finally, today, an accident exploded.

”Draw.”

Yun Gi’s spirit was like a blade.

To him blatantly revealing anger, the swordsman of the Wudang Sect opposite him sighed and said.

”Must it be like this. Virtuous Governance Sword.”

”I believe the line that can be resolved with words has been crossed.”

Behind Yun Gi, who was revealing anger, his martial nephews were fallen.

Yun Gi, who looked once at his martial nephews who were quite seriously injured, looked at the people in front of him with a stiff expression and said.

”Let’s verify that amazing Sword of Wudang.”

”...Can’t be helped.”

The opponent sighed and drew his sword.

As he drew his sword, a non-negligible spirit poured out from his body.

This man’s name is Cloud Dragon Sword, Yu Seong.

He is a first-generation disciple of the Wudang Sect and also a direct disciple of the Sect Leader.

In other words, he is a figure being raised as the next Sect Leader of Wudang.

Since Yun Gi is also being raised as the next Sect Leader of the Kongtong Sect, these two were people of the same generation and same position.

Two young men who could be called the future of the next generation Nine Sects faced each other and took stances.

And Cloud Dragon Sword Yu Seong smiled faintly and said.

”The situation isn’t good, but in fact, I did want to compete with you once to see who is superior.”

”Then that worked out well.”

”Be careful. The Sword of Wudang is much sharper than you think.”

”No need for quest...”

”Stop!”

It was then.

Just as the two were about to clash, a stern voice intervened.
