The Master and His Wealthy Fiancée

”Sisi, are you cultivating? Let me lend you a hand!”

Just as a hand far larger than an ordinary man’s was about to grab Tian Sisi’s breasts, a cold light flashed, and Pu Huo instantly recoiled.

Tian Sisi stood up, a two-handed Miao Blade in her grasp, a trickle of blood leaking from the corner of her mouth. She seethed with resentment. ’Just a little more time... another half hour and I would have definitely succeeded in my breakthrough.’

For now, dealing with Pu Huo was the priority. She couldn’t let this bastard touch her just for the sake of her breakthrough; she would rather suffer the backlash from her rampaging True Qi and strike back.

Pu Huo had anticipated Tian Sisi’s reaction. A woman with such a high opinion of herself would have to be conquered by force in the end. A sinister, wicked smile spread across his lips.

”You forcibly interrupted your own breakthrough. Suffering from a True Qi backlash, how much strength could you possibly have left?”

Tian Sisi lowered her Miao Blade, then gripped it with both hands. Her eyes were filled with chilling intent. All pretenses were dropped; there was no need for more words. She swung the blade upward in a vicious arc, and a terrifying blade glint shot toward Pu Huo.

Pu Huo didn’t dare to block it head-on and quickly dodged. The spacious, quiet room was sliced in two by the attack. The moment he dodged, he was met with a countless barrage of blade glints.

Under the extremely dense assault of blade glints, Pu Huo found he had nowhere to dodge. He circulated the True Qi throughout his body, and the brown aura reappeared as he punched away the attacks one by one.

Rage welled up in Tian Sisi’s heart. She gathered the Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi, and a green aura manifested around her as she instantly unleashed hundreds more slashes.

Pu Huo was shocked. He had fallen into a disadvantage from the very first exchange, forced to frantically block and dodge. Tian Sisi’s blade was simply too fast. He had known she wasn’t to be trifled with, but he never expected her to be this troublesome. ’To think she can still launch such fierce attacks while suffering a True Qi backlash!’

Unable to gain the upper hand in combat, Pu Huo switched to psychological tactics, roaring, ”Sisi, save some of that True Qi! You’ll need it for our dual cultivation!”

’His words only fuel my hatred,’ Tian Sisi thought. ’Right now, it’s just Pu Huo. If E Xuanfu joins in later, I’ll be in grave danger facing them both. I can’t hold back. I have to kill Pu Huo as quickly as possible, even if it means getting seriously injured myself.’

With that thought, Tian Sisi leaped into the air. Her Miao Blade spun into a beautiful, deadly flourish before she thrust it forward. The blade’s radiance, shockingly fast and imbued with the Power of Heaven and Earth, shot straight for Pu Huo.

BOOM!

After a massive explosion, a bloody hole was revealed in Pu Huo’s abdomen as the dust settled.

Pu Huo touched his wound, his expression turning frenzied. ”As expected of the woman I’ve set my sights on! Only a woman like this is worthy of me!”

His muscles bulged again, turning a deep brown. ”Tian Sisi, today I’ll make you submit, body and soul!”

Hidden nearby, E Xuanfu chuckled to himself. ’That brute Pu Huo gets excited whenever he’s injured. And with that demonic body of his, the more he’s hurt, the stronger he fights. This is going to be a good show!’

Sure enough, the brown aura around Pu Huo flared violently, and he shot toward Tian Sisi like a meteor.

Tian Sisi raised her blade horizontally to block the astonishingly powerful punch, but Pu Huo’s momentum relentlessly forced her backward.

BOOM... RUMBLE! They crashed through one house after another.

E Xuanfu’s expression changed, and he cursed under his breath, ”What a brute!”

Amidst the dust, Pu Huo switched fists and threw another punch. Tian Sisi’s blade work was a dizzying blur. With an upward slash, she added another wound to Pu Huo’s abdomen.

A green shadow flashed, appearing behind Pu Huo. With a flurry of cleaves, hacks, slashes, and thrusts, she unleashed thirteen strikes in an instant.

Pu Huo’s back was instantly drenched in blood.

It was only because of Pu Huo’s astonishing physique that he survived. Any other expert at the Internal Scenery realm would have been killed on the spot by those thirteen forms.

”AHH!” Pu Huo roared. The brown light around him erupted, and his terrifying aura warped the space around him. He spun and threw a punch. The immense force of the blow shot toward the sky like a pillar of light.

Tian Sisi hadn’t expected Pu Huo to be so durable. Her body blurred into an afterimage as she tried desperately to dodge the punch. Though she avoided the main force of the blow, the radiating energy still wounded her.

’Even the man from the Pu God Department, who I thought would be the easiest to defeat, is this tough to handle. I can’t imagine how strong the one from the Calamity God Department is.’ Tian Sisi created some distance and said coldly, ”Pu Huo, our fighting will only let a bystander profit. You’re already heavily injured. Why don’t you stop?”

A wild, deep voice came from within the brown aura, ”Stop? If you willingly submit to me, then I’ll stop!”

Tian Sisi looked coldly toward the distant shadows. ”E Xuanfu, stop hiding. Come on out!”

She said this not only to force E Xuanfu to reveal himself, but also to make Pu Huo recognize the situation and act to protect his own interests. If they continued this deathmatch, E Xuanfu would be the only one to profit.

But there was no movement from the shadows.

But Pu Huo, already lost in a battle frenzy, had little rationality left. Perhaps he arrogantly believed that once he captured Tian Sisi, E Xuanfu wouldn’t dare to do anything to him.

The brown aura surged toward Tian Sisi once more. Meanwhile, the True Qi inside her body was growing increasingly uncontrollable. She was forced to focus on parrying, looking for an opportunity to strike back.

House after house collapsed from the shockwaves of their battle. As the fight wore on, the blood flowing from the many wounds on Pu Huo’s body merged with his brown aura, making him look like a stone giant. Tian Sisi’s blade glints could no longer break through his defense.

Pu Huo grew stronger as he fought, while Tian Sisi grew weaker. The outcome of the battle was already becoming clear.
