Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don’t Mess Around!

The exchange of fire from the back was still going on. From the sound of bullets, they knew that one side had set up an anti-aircraft machine gun. The bullets of the anti-aircraft machine gun were thicker than fingers. If you were unlucky and got hit by one, a bloody hole as big as a bowl would be left wherever it hit, and you would be crippled even if you could be saved.

No one dared to face the anti-aircraft machine guns head-on, including Xia Jinyuan.

Xia Jinyuan spread out the map of the city and turned on the miniature flashlight. The extremely thin beam shone on the map. Reporter Chen saw the other party’s slender hands, which were as long as a pianist’s, slowly brushing past. Even his actions were like playing the piano.

”Major, we’re here now. This is the location of the nightclub. It’s also the most concentrated location. From here to here, we’re surrounded by the rebels. There are dozens of us. We’re too big a target. It’ll be difficult to break out.”

He spoke fluent English. His voice was deep, sounding extremely refreshing and containing the power to pierce through rocks.

From his side profile, Reporter Chen could tell that the other party was a very young soldier from China.

The Chinese soldiers appeared in the nightclub... Reporter Chen, who had her gaze locked on them, moved closer to her colleagues. ”The one speaking is a Chinese soldier. The Chinese soldiers appeared in the nightclub. Think of a way to capture their faces clearly and send them back to the Wanhai.”

Reporter Chen had the highest status among the three reporters from Wanhai. The other two male reporters were called reporters, but one was actually in charge of carrying equipment while the other was in charge of photography.

The male colleague in charge of photography was good at drawing. He was especially good at drawing portraits. He could capture more than 80% of the other party’s appearance with an ordinary pencil.

The male colleague instantly understood the deeper meaning behind Reporter Chen’s words. He nodded and replied softly, ”I roughly counted just now. There should be six to seven of them. I just need to draw three to four. If the Chinese soldiers went to the nightclub, it’ll definitely cause a huge storm and damage their image when they return to their country.”

”Yes, let’s grab the opportunity. I’ll cooperate appropriately,” Reporter Chen said softly. Her voice was filled with suppressed excitement. She had been keeping an eye on the Chinese soldiers for more than half a month but hadn’t found any evidence to damage their image. This time, the evidence was directly in her hands. How could she miss it?

Another male colleague who was in charge of carrying equipment said regretfully, ”If we still had our cameras, it would be more convincing. They always said that the Chinese military unit is strict with their soldiers. Now, it looks like it’s nothing much.”

”Ha, do you really believe what they say? They’re lagging behind everywhere. If they don’t flatter themselves, who will care about them?” Reporter Chen sneered and stared at the Chinese soldiers with contempt. ”They’re just pretending. Only their own people think that their soldiers are good and powerful.

”Keep an eye on them and remember every word they say.” The sounds of fluent English from the corner in front hadn’t stopped. There were some technical terms that even she didn’t understand. Reporter Chen sneered contemptuously. ”I didn’t expect this Chinese soldier to speak English. It looks like he underwent a lot of training.”

Looking around, Reporter Chen tried to look for the other figures. After looking around, she didn’t see anything. She retracted her gaze and continued to stare at Xia Jinyuan, who was talking to the British soldiers. ”The other Chinese soldiers haven’t appeared. It looks like he’s the only one who speaks English. We shouldn’t expect a country that doesn’t even have a strong education to be formidable.”

”That makes sense,” her male colleagues agreed.
