Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don’t Mess Around!

Chapter 4785: Good News

Although Xu Wen, He Jing, and the other students were in low spirits, they still held their heads high and remembered that they were soldiers who could not bend their backs.

They couldn’t be reprimanded by their instructor on their last day of training! Today was also their graduation ceremony!

They lined up neatly. The students in the front row suddenly saw the dean walking toward their class, and he was smiling. Xu Wen, who was at the front, seemed to have thought of something, and her eyes lit up.

If not for her discipline, she would have nudged He Jing’s arm and said her guess.

She wasn’t the only one whose eyes lit up. When they saw the smiling dean, all the students’ eyes lit up.

“It’s as if there are lanterns in your eyes. It seems that you all know what I want to say.” The smiling dean stood in front of the class and ignited all the students’ enthusiasm.

There was only happiness!

Hahaha, Ye Jian was back!

She was back for the graduation ceremony!

Hahaha…

They were so happy!

The entire class was in an uproar. That happiness caused the other fourth-year students to raise their heads and look at each other. The military school was very disciplined. Even if they wanted to ask what had happened, they wouldn’t go over. They could only wait until they met after this.

Thus, the news of Ye Jian, who had been away for a semester, returning to school today for the graduation ceremony spread during breakfast.

Ye Jian was a famous person in school. Everyone thought that it was not a big deal to miss classes for a week, two weeks, or a month. She was in her fourth year and had more opportunities to go out for work. It was normal.

However, after missing classes for an entire semester, no matter how unconcerned the students were about Ye Jian, they would more or less hear about her from the other students who were concerned about Ye Jian.

The official news was that Ye Jian had gone for an internship in the company. But who would believe that she would go for an internship in the company for the entire semester?

There was one good thing about the military school. It was hard to spread rumors. Once the source was found, the student’s name would be recorded and they would be expelled from school. Hence, even though Ye Jian had been absent from school for the entire semester, there were no bad rumors about her.

Now that they suddenly knew that Ye Jian was back, those students who wanted to take a photo with Ye Jian were happy.

The graduation ceremony would start at 9:00 am. It was 7:00 am now, which meant that they would see Ye Jian in an hour.

“Will Ye Jian represent the graduates?”

“Yes, they’ve reserved a seat for her.”

“She’s the most outstanding student in our batch.”

“Hahaha, are you jealous?”

“F*ck, who would be jealous of someone like her? If it were anyone else but her, I’d definitely be jealous.”

“Unfortunately, she didn’t take the postgraduate entrance examination. If she took the postgraduate entrance examination and then went for her PhD, her military rank would be higher and she would have more opportunities.”

“Even if she doesn’t study for a PhD, she would be directly awarded military ranks without having to go through an internship.”

Students from the military school were not awarded military ranks on the day they graduated. Instead, they would be assigned to a company for an internship period. They would first wear a bar epaulet to the company and would be awarded military ranks after three months or half a year.

Even if an Outstanding Student graduated with a military rank, they would still have an internship period.

Ye Jian had been awarded as an Outstanding Student every semester in her four years of military school. She even received third-class honors. These could be used as a reference for her graduation military rank.

At 7:00 am, the leaders of the military arrived at the school. The leaders of the school first introduced the Outstanding Students, including Ye Jian.

Major General Yang knew Ye Jian better than the school leaders. His briefcase contained Ye Jian’s medals of honor, including two third-class merits and two second-class merits.

That meant that when Ye Jian was still a student, she had already received three third-class honors and two second-class honors.

This was a height that even Xia Jinyuan didn’t reach when he was a student.
