Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don’t Mess Around!

Chapter 4642: Come, Fight

The leaders on the reviewing platform applauded and communicated in low voices. Commissar Yue wanted to be humble, but when he thought of Regimental Commander Pang from the armed forces department beside him, he felt that there was no need to be humble.

He smiled and said, “Little Ye is the most outstanding student in our school. She might be a lady, but her comprehensive qualities are better than many male students. This is also her first training outside the school. I heard that the feedback from her class is not bad. The students admire her very much.”

“She’s not bad. From the students, we can tell that she’s good.”

“It’s very important that the students trust her. Some instructors and students can’t get along at all.”

“Yes, yes, yes. Instructors with bad tempers don’t have the patience.”

…

The muttering low voices made Regimental Commander Pang secretly glare at Commissar Yue a few times. In return, Commissar Yue smiled. Regimental Commander Pang pursed his lips. He regretted letting his political commissar go on a business trip!

If he knew this would happen, he would have brought Old Zhang over!

It was most appropriate to leave the task of fighting for the upper hand to Old Zhang. He was a rough man, but he really couldn’t compete with Old Yue!

Regimental Commander Pang gritted his teeth secretly. He regretted not bringing the political commissar from his regiment along.

Commissar Yue, who had won a round, picked up a bottle of mineral water that was hot from the sun. He unscrewed the cap and took two gulps. No matter how hot the sun was, he felt good.

It would definitely take some time for more than 4,000 students to finish marching. From 8:30 am to 11:30 am, the students from the north campus and the main campus did their marches. At this moment, the sun was already so hot that it made people dizzy. The surface of the ground was steaming, causing everyone to be drenched in sweat.

After the students left, it was the instructors’ turn to fight. The 96 instructors stood at the empty square venue below the reviewing platform. The students were feeling so hot that their eyes turned red. They instantly perked up and widened their eyes, looking forward to the show.

The 96 instructors formed their teams. With a loud shout, the 72 instructors quickly stepped out. The other 24 instructors stood in line, leaving the venue to the instructors of the competition.

Although it was called a martial arts competition, it was actually bare-handed combat. It wasn’t an all-rounded martial arts competition in the military unit.

Hand-to-hand combat was a battle between two instructors. Advanced practice? No way!

Showing mercy? Impossible!

That was impossible. They were going to fight for real!

“I’m a little nervous. Do you think our instructor will lose?”

“I don’t know. He won’t lose, right?”

“Is it a real fight? Or a fake fight? It shouldn’t be a real fight, right? If the other party loses, won’t it be very embarrassing?”

“I don’t care if they’re really fighting or not. Just watch.”

“That female instructor is participating too. Is that okay?”

The 4,000 students started discussing in detail. Their voices weren’t loud, but they were like buzzing bees. All of them hoped that their instructor would win and cheered for them.

Someone suddenly shouted, “Instructor, all the best!” In an instant, the entire audience was filled with the same shouts and cheers.

The competition between the instructors had yet to start, but the venue was already very lively. The cheers made the instructors purse their lips and laugh.

On the reviewing platform, Regimental Commander Pang leaned forward slightly and smiled at Commissar Yue. “Old Yue, if you lose, don’t criticize them when you go back. After all, they’re just a bunch of students. They can’t be compared to the veterans under me.

“When they graduate and train with the veterans in the military unit for a year or two, it’ll be about time.”
