Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don’t Mess Around!

Chapter 4485: Leading Soldiers

It was obvious that the special forces of the Xueyu unit were experts. Just the equipment they took out made the secret service officers click their tongues.

Wireless communication, satellite navigation, infrared equipment… It would be a lie to say that the secret service officers were not envious. They were far inferior to the special forces sent by the military.

From their equipment, one could tell that they were a frontline combat unit. The 13 of them were like leopards that had been released from their cages. When they unintentionally looked at each other, they could see the terrifying killing intent in each other’s eyes.

Before the combat deployment, Xia Jinyuan briefly introduced their identities. After all, this combat deployment was commanded by the secret service team. The Xueyu unit was only there to help.

As a special forces unit that covered all aspects of terrain combat, they were all focused on eliminating the roots of the problem. Hence, it was not suitable for this kind of search combat. The captain of the sixth secret service squadron only listened to a few sentences, and his eyes were already filled with admiration.

As a first-tier counter-terrorist combat team, the Xueyu unit’s coverage was wider than the secret service team. They had been seen in Yunnan, Tibet, and the southern border.

“According to our current location, the three kidnapped soldiers have arrived at the combat area at point A in the northernmost hinterland. There are a lot of illegal weapons in this combat area. Be careful of cold guns during the process.

“Our mission this time is very different from the past. We need to get close to the area and fight. Not everyone in the combat area is useless. You’re not suitable to be the vanguard. The vanguard will be our sixth secret service team. You’ll surround them and fight. How about that?”

The captain of the secret service would ask Xia Jinyuan before deploying every time. He wouldn’t make a decision immediately.

After all, they were from different systems. The sixth secret service squadron belonged to the armed police system that combated internally, while the Xueyu unit soldiers were from the army that combated externally. The system was different, so it was better to be humble.

Xia Jinyuan had no objections. The Xueyu unit didn’t have much experience in counter-terrorism. In addition, they brought intern soldiers over to train. They would help the secret service the entire time and not turn the tables.

He nodded and said, “I have no objections. Our team will follow the arrangements.”

“Alright, I’ll be in charge. Thank you for your cooperation.”

With his deep facial features, it was obvious that the platoon leader was local. When he saw Xia Jinyuan’s attitude, he revealed a faint smile with a serious expression. The military comrades respected their arrangements, which would save a lot of trouble.

The squadron leader’s Mandarin was a little inaccurate, but it didn’t affect communication. The local officers who carried out missions together could speak Mandarin. They were all locals who joined the team for peace and stability. They weren’t afraid of death.

The map was spread out. The squadron leader started setting up as quickly as possible. Z7 kept an eye on Weaver’s location.

The three combat areas were locked down. In order to prevent the three combat areas from being illegally connected and thus leading to the failure of the operation, they entered the three A, B, and C combat areas in three batches and moved together.

Based on his many years of combat experience in counter-terrorism, the squadron leader of the secret service told them in advance about the dangers that might happen so that the soldiers of the special forces who were supporting them would be mentally prepared.

The veterans knew what to do. This was the first time the intern soldiers were taking on a mission, though. They held the steel guns in their hands tightly and listened attentively. The sun started to set in the west. After careful combat arrangements, the secret service squadron and the special forces unit were split into three teams. They advanced toward the three combat areas.

Xia Jinyuan divided the intern soldiers into three groups. The veterans led the combat while he participated in rescuing Weaver, White Crane, and Azure Bird.
