Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don’t Mess Around!

Chapter 4476: Afraid Of Death

“What’s the latest operation?”

Vice-Captain G3’s voice was the first to be heard. Xia Jinyuan walked out of the camouflage tent and replied as he walked, “Suppressing bandits. Where are you? We need to discuss something.”

The veterans who were training with the new recruits had recently lost a few layers of skin on their shoulders and backs. They were obviously suffering, but when they heard that there was a new operation, they were like a withered tree that had come back to life. They were so happy that they seemed to be singing and dancing. There was a ruckus in the channel.

The special forces soldiers who were training were also very excited. They had been in the desert for more than half a month. Every day, they were chased by the veterans. They didn’t seem to be practicing any other skills. Their ability to escape had improved a lot.

Last night, they were chased by the veterans once more. The captain, who always looked like Hades, descended from the sky and stood on a weathered rock. He looked down at them with a wolf-like gaze. “On the battlefield, your priority is to live. If you live, everything will be easy.

“The soldiers I want don’t think about sacrificing all day long. If you sacrifice yourself, won’t you be wasting your resources for nothing? Remember, even if you know that you can’t do it, you have to be obedient. Escaping is also a strategy.

“However, if I see you abandoning your comrades or running away like a headless fly, you might not be able to leave my hands alive even if you come back alive.

“Escaping is a strategy. The bottom line is that you must not be afraid of death! You can’t escape at the last minute and abandon your comrades!”

This was the first time this ‘wolf’-like captain faced them with a more amiable tone.

There was a round red sunset behind him, emitting blood-like rays. He was wearing a desert combat camouflage uniform as he stood high on top of the weathered rock that might collapse at any moment. The Type 95 rifle was pressed against the back of his leg as he supported himself with one hand. His facial features were blurred by the sun. He looked like a demon who had walked out of the sea of blood. He was so fierce, but he made them feel at ease.

They felt a little awkward in their hearts.

Why did his words always sound so unpleasant?

It was as if he thought that there would be cowards among them who would abandon their comrades and escape.

On the spot, a comrade with the codename ’27’ took the risk of being severely punished and shouted, “I swear to live and die with my comrades. I’ll never do such a beastly thing as abandoning my comrades!”

“That’s right! I won’t do anything beastly!”

“Don’t look down on us!”

“Q King, wait for us!”

Their captain personally told them not to call him ‘Captain’ because they were not qualified to call him that yet.

The reason was simple. He had yet to personally acknowledge them. No one among them was an official special forces soldier. They were all intern special forces soldiers!

F*ck!

It had been more than two years since they entered the military unit for training. In the end, they were still intern soldiers!

Even if they were furious, they could only accept their fate.

Those who had never been on the battlefield and had never used real guns could not be considered Xia Jinyuan’s soldiers. It was very realistic and cruel. They had nothing to say.

Now, there was a new mission. It was a chance to prove that they had the ability to stay and become a true member of the Xueyu unit!

The veterans were elated. The intern special forces soldiers who were hit by Xia Jinyuan every day were even more surprised.

“Q King, what about us? Are we on standby?”

Someone asked carefully and expectantly in the channel. As soon as he said this, the entire channel fell silent.

The sun in the desert was strong, and the wind was strong too. The strong wind slashed across his face, causing him some pain. The sand blew past his eyes, but he didn’t raise his hand to wipe them. He waited for Q King’s reply.
