Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don’t Mess Around!

Chapter 4408: Our Future

It was a good thing to be fast and efficient. As their comrade, she was happy for the two of them. However, she was also worried because of their speed.

“You guys sure are bold enough. If they catch you kissing in school, you’ll suffer.” Ye Jian reminded her gently and persuaded her, “Even if you can’t help yourself, you have to control yourself. It’ll be summer vacation soon. Bear with it.”

The seniors who were about to leave didn’t dare to be so presumptuous. Xu Wen and Song Zhiqiu were too bold. Ye Jian had to persuade them.

“We didn’t dare to be bold, so it was just a quick one. He bit my tongue, and I bit the skin of his mouth. It felt good, but the time was too short.”

Thinking of the secret kiss a few days ago, Xu Wen felt that she hadn’t had enough. When she heard Ye Jian’s words, she rubbed her forehead, afraid that something would happen.

“Control, you have to control yourself. Do you understand?”

“Song Zhiqiu can control himself, but I can’t… I have to learn from you!”

Ye Jian was speechless. She couldn’t teach this child anymore!

Shouldn’t the males be the ones unable to control themselves rather than the females?

Why was it the other way around?

The movie came to an end. In the end, the lovers finally got together. The fourth-year students who were about to graduate and start a new military brigade in their country watched the only romance movie they had watched in their four years of military school. As they left in a line, tonight had become a memory.

The third-year students watched as the fourth-year students left first. Perhaps they were reflecting on themselves, but there was a hint of melancholy in their eyes.

“It should be our turn next year…” He Jing, who was lying on the bed, said sadly, “I saw the fourth-year seniors leave just now. I didn’t feel good. I also saw two couples leaving with each other. Wen, do you think they’ll be assigned to the same unit?”

Xu Wen’s heart sank. She suppressed the corners of her mouth and didn’t answer for a long time.

Would she and Song Zhiqiu be assigned to the same unit after graduating next year?

The probability was basically zero.

After washing up, Ye Jian pushed the door open and entered. She felt that the atmosphere in the dormitory was a little sad. He Jing heard the commotion and asked Ye Jian, “Jian, which unit will you go to after graduation? Senior Xia’s unit?”

Xu Wen, who was in a bad mood, sighed softly. “It’s very difficult. I don’t really want to talk about this topic. Anyway, it’s unlikely that Song Zhiqiu and I will be assigned to the same unit.”

Right then, He Jing hugged her head and gasped.

She, who didn’t know anything, was frightened by Xu Wen’s sudden revelation of her relationship. Her head was still hurting so much that it was twitching. She shouted sternly, “Wen, you’re crazy! You’re still dating at a time like this! In the future, you’ll have to go your separate ways. How are you going to settle down?

“Why do you have to make yourself sad when we’ll be graduating in a year?”

She wasn’t concerned about whether Xu Wen’s relationship would be discovered. She was concerned that they wouldn’t be able to get together in the future. Wouldn’t Xu Wen be sad if that happened?

Ye Jian put down the washing basin and sat on the small stool to dry her hair. She replied to He Jing’s question, “I’ve been working hard to get close to Senior Xia… Whether I can be assigned to Senior Xia’s unit or not depends on myself.”

“Which military unit is Senior Xia from?” Xu Wen asked.

“Field military unit. You know that my goal has always been the field military unit. Hence, the possibility of us splitting up is still very high.”

Ye Jian didn’t hide anything and told the truth.

He Jing heaved a sigh of relief. “There’s still a chance. Little Jian, you might be luckier than Wen.”

“That’s right. Jian, you’ll be luckier than me.” Xu Wen nodded. She lacked courage after entering the field military unit, so she could only take things one step at a time.

Whether they could be allocated together depended on the graduation season next year.

Because the fourth-year students had left, the three girls in the dormitory were a little sad. They hurriedly said good night and went to sleep.
