Chapter 4108: Hold On

This survival training was not difficult for Ye Jian. It was the simplest primary training. After trying to fasten the escape rope, she started to speed up and descend.

Ye Jian pulled the escape rope and took a deep breath. As she exhaled, she started to slide down.

At this moment, her legs were still kicking the mountain. When the escape rope went vertically down the suspended layer, her legs lost their kicking power. She relied on the strength of her upper limbs and her usual training skills to complete the landing.

At first, Ye Jian’s speed was neither fast nor slow. She was parallel to Song Zhiqiu, who was descending with her. When she was almost in the air, Song Zhiqiu then moved his descending device. When he looked down again, Ye Jian, who was descending with him just now, had instantly dropped more than a meter and disappeared from his vision.

The students gasped slightly.

They lowered their heads and looked down. Ye Jian had already fallen to the suspended level and was descending at an extremely fast speed.

She pulled the rope, tightened it, and slid the lowering device. To her, it was as simple as eating and drinking. All her actions were completed consecutively without any pause. She was as skilled as if she had undergone thousands of such lowering training.

Song Zhiqiu couldn’t help but raise his eyebrows. He said to the students who couldn’t see Ye Jian anymore, “Three meters in ten seconds. I’m still above. She’s already on the ground.”

In other words, Ye Jian didn’t even use a minute before landing from a three-story high mountain.

The students who were still standing on top silently wiped the sweat on their foreheads that hadn’t been dried by the mountain wind. Ye Jian from their class… was destined to be a legend that was difficult to surpass.

Ye Jian, who had landed on her feet, untied the deceleration device and grabbed the escape rope with both hands. She shook it forcefully and looked up at the top of the mountain that was illuminated by the light. She raised her voice and said, “I’ve landed safely. Next person! Hurry up!”

Since she was safe, it meant that everything was fine below. All the students could start descending.

Female students took priority. Xu Wen was the first to start descending after Ye Jian. She had improved very quickly in the past two years. Her basic skills had been trained by Ye Jian until they were very solid. Even so, this was the first time she completed a three-story descent in the wild. She was still a little afraid.

She took a deep breath and gave an ‘OK’ sign to the male student who was pulling the escape rope. Then, she started to descend rhythmically.

“All the best!” He Jing, who was the second to prepare, encouraged her good friend and comrade in a low voice.

“Yes, I’m fine. I can do it,” Xu Wen replied. She kicked her feet down and leaned back slightly. As the deceleration device slid, Xu Wen had already started to descend.

Song Zhiqiu landed safely below. He stepped on the escape rope with one foot and held it tightly with both hands. He smiled at Ye Jian, who was in the same position to ensure that the escape rope wouldn’t shake. “You’re really amazing. Are you really planning to enter the front line in the future?

“The last time, the instructor said that with your current physical performance, it’s not a problem for you to participate in the special forces election. The biggest problem is that our country doesn’t have an official female special forces military unit yet.”

The instructors in charge of physical training in the military school saw Ye Jian’s results and agreed that she could participate in all kinds of selections.

The only pity was that there was no female special forces unit at the moment.

Ye Jian, who had been staring up against the light, smiled and said, “If there’s no female special forces unit, I can enter the male special forces unit. As long as it’s a military unit, there’s no need to differentiate between men and women.”

“Sigh, are you really planning to go to the special forces after graduating from the military school? To the field military unit?” Song Zhiqiu was shocked when he saw the seriousness in Ye Jian’s smile.
